This hotel is wonderful. It is modern and bright. Walked the lobby gallery and enjoyed the beautiful contemporary art, glass of wine in hand from the lovely lobby bar. Rooms are very clean, comfortable and least fully decorated. There is a wonderful rooftop restaurant and bar that offers great city views and delicious food. This is a keeper. Convenient to downtown shops, restaurants and music venues.

Interesting location was part of why I chose this hotel. Very nice experience including food and staff, easy safe access. Public areas impressive. Appreciate that it is pet friendly per terms.

Deadbolt on door broken but I reported it upon leaving so it will be fixed. Understood that this is smaller hotel than the other Marriott with fewer parts, but actually that is a good thing.

I love this hotel and this was my second stay there. Friendly staff and a new, comfortable room make for a wonderful place to stay.

It was much louder this time versus the first, though. Lots of sirens and noise from outside. Also, it would be nice for the rooms to have some sort of chargers for phones/electronics. I know things like this can “walk away”, but surely you can charge a guest if it happens?

Plenty of space to leave your luggage, also,plenty of space in the bathroom for all the bits and pieces one carries around. For once a shower where the water doesn’t leak out onto the bathroom floor. Great!!! A lot of pillows, great duvets. Only drawback was the noise from the street. Hassle free check in and check out. Would definitely stay there again. Close to restaurants and coffee shops

Staff was nice during check in as well as check out. Enjoyed the roof top bar and great drinks/bartenders

Beds aren’t that comfortable pull out couch was not comfortable at all. I asked for extra pillows and covers, only one extra pillow was provided and a wool like blanket that was itchy.

The staff made us feel like we where home. Thanks to the front desk for always welcoming us. Looking forward to coming back soon

We arrived very late the front desk was very accommodating . Let us do late check out the following day . Breakfast was excellent and the lobby and art were spectacular

Service and quality of facilities!

I wouldn't say I didn't like it, but breakfast could be improved! With little variety and options.

The locations was excellent. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

We asked for room service each day but didn't receive it on our second day. Therefore we had to ask the desk for clean towels after arriving back at the hotel late in the evening. Parking was a little tricky on Friday night. Many vehicles were parked along the curbing, making it difficult to park.

This was a last minute trip for a funeral and the staff went above and beyond for me, my fiancée, our little dog and our friend that needed a room at the last minute. I’m a native of Spartanburg and we drove 12 hours from Chicago. I was proud of my hometown and the people that live in it after how we were treated.

There really isn’t much. I sort of wish the rooftop bar wasn’t a Rick Erwins (overrated). but that’s it
