The room was lovely with plenty of room. The breakfast was delicious! The staff was super friendly. And the maid staff hung up my husband and daughter's clothes that were wet from their morning run which was very thoughtful.

The room was a little warm due to the outside air temperature, but we just opened a window and were fine. The only thing strange was that the shower head was in the middle of the tub wall instead of on the end which made it a little weird to navigate. In the end, it was perfectly fine though! Some magnets to keep the shower curtain attached to the tub would be great if they could add that!

Breakfast was good, not the best, but good for the hotel this size. Room was very nice and comfortable, bathroom was nicely maintained, fridge (empty) was available for free. There is also a small parking lot for hotel guests. Location itself is in the center of the small town, which is very practical, while the town itself is small and very quiet.

On the first day, the dining room was crowded and there was no bread left temporarily. Some really minor issues were that the elevator was tiny (again, no surprise in a hotel this size) and the TV could have been bigger.

Such a beautiful village - any place in town is a good location since it's so small, but this one is close to the bus stop and cable car, while being off the main road. The hotel was super clean, has a ski town lodge kinda vibe and a plentiful breakfast that was included. It was the only place left in town to book, and was definitely a pleasant last resort. We didn't realize there was no fridge in the room, so had to throw some food away, but then saw there was a shared kitchen in the morning just FYI. I also really appreciated the little touches, like the Mozart balls on the pillow :)

I'm not sure how the price compares to other spots in town since it was literally the only place available on our dates, but in general felt a little high. I imagine if you're booking well in advance you could find a better deal. But we still loved our stay.

wow property was absolutely stunning completely spotless top to bottom. the staff owners are very welcoming and help you with out without hesitation the rooms are lovely clean and what a great night sleep, choices in the breakfast has variety and extremely healthy and great verities to choose as well as fresh orange and lots of different types of teas always stocked. the view from my windows was amazing and there was a balcony with umbrella where I could sit outside. the hotel is of very high standards absolutely stunning views staff are lovely helping and couldn’t have been more nice, definitely would recommend this hotel as I was there for my son’s wedding and definitely go back but spend longer there. don’t hesitate looking anywhere else it’s central to everything gray places to stay hope to see you soon

The location was absolutely perfect. Everything in easy walking distance Parking available close by The room was superb. When we checked in the man at the reception saw my mum is in a wheelchair and changed our room to one with a shower. Very helpful and friendly staff. The breakfast buffet was a true feast with opulent choices. I can truly recommend this place. It was exceptional

Lovely hotel peaceful and relaxing clean and fresh.Friendly staff and helpful,great large selection for breakfast and also vending machine available.Rooms were spotless and comfortable with plenty of storage,safe provided and also a small fridge,nice balcony with table and chairs

Excellent hotel. All staff friendly including the cleaners. Room was perfect with a lovely view. The room was spotless. The shower was exceptional, incredibly powerful. Breakfast was lovely. Not sure how people can moan about this as there was an excellent selection of continental foods. The location was perfect, just a short walk away from the lake side. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Very comfortable, quiet and ideal location ( 5 min walk to bus stop), few minutes to the town square. St Gilgen is a beautiful town full of fine buildings on the edge of a lake. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good buffet breakfast. Rooms have evidently had recent high quality refurbishment and there are some lovely period items in the corridors. We only stayed one night stopping enroute back to Salzberg from Bad Ischl.

We had an amazing stay at the hotel. It is centrally located with lots of restaurants near by, free parking and an elevator for the luggage. Our room had a good view. The breakfast was plentiful. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Overall felt like home at this pretty chalet in St. Gilgen.

Maybe add some croissants to the breakfast.

Very comfortable stay, balcony with a peep of a view of lake. Nice to be able to sleep with door open at night.Good breakfast with lots of variety. Staff friendly and very helpful. Short walk to nearby attractions and restaurants. Had kebabs from shop below our room , smell wafts up. Very yummy and extremely fresh produce used.
