Despite being part of the Ship Inn pub our twin room with kitchenette to the side was very quiet and peaceful. It is quite dark and the Ship Inn pub sign isn’t lit up so it’s clearly a hidden gem.
The kitchen seemed to lack a few cutlery items e.g. we were two people and there was one knife and two forks and only one bowl. It worked out fine for us as we got by with forks. I am sure had we enquired at the pub they would have provided more.

location was remote but expected in this beautiful part of the country, but as long as you have a car or are prepared to use a taxi it is perfect. Stayed in the sharpness room and it was so clean and cosy with everything we needed along with a lovely bathroom and very comfy bed. Staff were so helpful - would definitely recommend the pizzas in the restaurant.
the only thing was the distance to Cheltenham festival which was the purpose of our trip but this actually worked well once we had been passed the details for A1 taxis - Rob - who made sure we got there and back with no issues.

Beautiful location next to an unused canal and very close to the estuary. The staff were extremely welcoming and the food delicious. There is a excellent outside seating area which would be lovely in the summer months. I would use this location again if in the area.

It did the job and served its purpose. The beds were comfy and there was a cooker to use if ee wanted it with plenty of glasses etc.
There were a few damp patches in the room where the paint was chipping off. The lights dimmed when the shower was turned on or we used another electrical item. There were no windows in the room.

Location was good, food in pub was good. Nice pub garden to sit in.
Damp on wall, decor poor. Lack of cutlery and only one plate. I had to go to pub kitchen and ask for a plate for breakfast. Tv was not working properly and no wi fi

I took my own breakfast but would have liked a microwave instead of the oven. The bed was a little too firm for me but they staff went out of their way to help me check in. It was really useful to have a key to the room as I attended a wedding off the pub site.
No Microwave Hard bed mattress

The room was very comfortable, it had a little kitchenette which was handy for breakfast as nothing near by. There is no reception for your phone or tablet and no thing the room but this did not bother us.
