It’s right by the water (outer Oslofjord) and has some lovely walking paths at shoreline and amongst trees. The premises are very interesting since 3 years ago part of them have been taken over by the Norwegian coast guard as headquarters for their offices and as training center. Anyway, my room was great overall though I found the towel holder on a shelf and only the tape on the wall in the bathroom. There were NO OTHER HOOKS in the bathroom, which is always a negative. Also NO SHELF in the shower for your shampoo etc. I informed reception about the towel holder and to fix at a later time because it was the weekend and nobody could.

Apart from the towel holder and no hooks or shelf in the bathroom all was great. Rooms have great views, and the rooms in the different building are even closer to the water and trails.

We always enjoy our stays here. The staff are professional and pleasant. The rooms are well appointed, spacious, and showers have excellent water pressure. Laundry services made our trip even better.

The hotel used to provide a 24/7 sandwich and snack bar with vegetables, cheeses, meats, and breads, but they got rid of it for some reason - very unfortunate if you are traveling after their morning breakfast time.

- Not about the hotel: Its hard to get there by public transportation, there is only one bus line driving to and through Horten. - recommendation for the room: add towel rails in the bathroom

This is not a conventional hotel. The accomodation comprises simple rooms in a two level block next to the Norwegian Marine Safety headquarters. We liked the common areas, the water access and walking trails. A children's summer camp was taking place and we enjoyed the happiness and energy.

Great breakfast, very good quality. Stunning location by the water. Access to gym, washing machines and boats. Fantastic place! Highly recommended!

A bit lacking in information at times is the only thing I could think of. And a lack of lactose free options at breakfast.

It was our first stay at RS Noatun and we absolutely loved the location. The rooms are very comfortable and all the staff has been exceptionally nice. Thank you and we look forward to visit again 😊

I liked that when requested to check out late that they happily accepted it with no charge. And their cafeteria was also wheel chair and in our case stroller friendly. Breakfast option was great!

The hotel was very good and clean. It all looks new. The staff was so good and friendly! They were very helpfull. The breakfast is 24/7 and very good. You can walk from the bus to the hotel. It’s about 20 min walk.

Some better pillows would be nice.

Ongoing breakfast is a nice idea, lounge area is very good and the view is fantastic and stuff was really helpful.

My room missed TV remote and I had to unplug it to stop viewing looping hotel commercial. The curtains are too small to block view from outside.

Location directly at the sea. Stunning view.

I would have wished to get more information about possible dinner possibilities when checking in.
