I chose the Senri Hankyu Hotel because a good friend of mine lives nearby, and it turned out to be a great decision. The area is calm and peaceful, but with the nearby station, getting into central Osaka is super easy. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were kind and welcoming. What really stood out, though, was the hotel’s unique charm—it has this distinctive 70s grand hotel vibe that’s both nostalgic and elegant. It’s really sad to hear it’ll be closing next year. I’m glad I got the chance to stay while it’s still around.

Hotel is close to Senri Chuo station. There is a department store, a nice supermarket nearby within 8 mins walk. There is also a convenience store for everything. You can find a lot of nice and reasonably priced eateries nearby.

Hotel is a very traditional Japanese hotel. However if you are an elderly person, you may prefer this hotel as it does not need a lot of AI sense to operate from air-con to electrical water kettle. I would recommend that they can offer garbage collection everyday if you put it outside the room every day before what hour. They are very EGO which I really appreciate very much but they can offer no towel to change but just to collect garbage and to supply bottle water. For now, they do not collect garbage but to provide clean towel and two bottles of water everyday under ECO cleaning. The clean towel may not be a must given the dry weather in Osaka.

10 mins walk to station. Take exit 18 for escalator up to street if you have suitcase. Go to Hankyu Department Store to elevator down to subway level if you need to train the MTR with suitcase to Namba station for airport express. 5 mins walk to a local mall with everything you need. Daiso, 3 Coins, Lawson, Muji, Aeon supermarket for everything you need. A lot of eateries around. One stop of monorail to ExpoCity Mall. Staff are super helpful even they do not speak a lot of English.

Hotel is a bit outdated. Need to change carpet in the corridor as it smells. Need to change door key to digital door lock for guests easy carrying.

This hotel is about 10 mins to Subway line which can take you to Namba and city center. There is a shopping mall by the Subway station with a lot of restaurants, a supermarket and Lawson, the convenient store for drinks and snacks,

Nothing. I will stay in this hotel again if I come back to this neighborhood. This is not dislike but if hotel can offer early check in if room is available, it will make the guests less stressful and get a rest earlier. However fully understood hotel policy.

Staying at this hotel was a delightful experience. The building is an old, solid structure, remarkably spacious, with very nice details throughout—absolutely charming. Its proximity to the station is a significant advantage. However, the best part of our stay was undoubtedly the staff, who were exceptionally helpful. It truly embodies the good old days of hotel hospitality. This is precisely how a hotel should be.

The only slight drawback was a faint old smell upon entering, but it did not detract from the overall charm of the hotel.

Hotel is like 10 mins walk from exit 18 where you can go up by escalator to street floor from subway station. Room size is big with sitting area. This is a traditional Japanese style hotel so decoration is bit old fashion.

You cannot adjust temperature for air conditioner. It is either low, medium or high and some time it is quite cold in the room. If you turn off the air conditioner, it is a bit stuffy with no air circulation.

The room was bigger than most of the twin rooms we have stayed in Japan. The amenities provided were sufficient for our stay, and the ¥1000 parking fee for multiple entries was a good deal as well. The staff speaks english and very accommodating.

Not in the city centre, but if you have business around the area, then it’s a good one. The beds were a little hard and there aren’t many food options nearby.

The hotel is little old but they take very good care of it so I feeld very good in this hotel👍 the room was spacious and clean 🙏 in the room we had a massage chair so was very good plus👍 all staff we met was very kind and polite 🙏 breakfast was very delicious thank you very much 😊😊😊 I highly recommend this hotel. Easy access and good location and parking in underground 👍👍👍👍👍

The stay was extremely comfortable and the staff is really friendly, plus their English is good, so it is really easy to communicate. The location is great close to the monorail and the Midosuji line. Plus Osaka University is only 15 min away by bus.

If you want to visit the city centre like Umeda or Namba. I would not advise staying at this hotel as it is quite far from them.

Near to Senri-chuo station. Where there's plenty of eateries. ( take subway Midosuji line from any main stations) then at Senri-chuo station. Take exit 18...up the escalator to road level...and u can see the hotel on your left at the end of the road... Hotel is old but has few restaurants. Rooms kept clean and cosy.
