The place is big and beautiful, the rooms are lovely and most comfortable , breakfast was delicious, the staff ow my god friendly cnt even begin to explain😍. Anything you need they onto it.

The pool is cold during this season, for a place like this it’s a must have a heated pool. Please get a heated pool I guarantee you that’s the only thing that’s needed.

A pleasant stay. Beautiful architecture and garden. The food is outstanding. Very close to Ilanga Mall, Mediclinic, Innobos terrain and other landmarks. Times to check it accommodates for a late traveller. Thank you.

Pleasant experience. Only two points to note. Rooms are not very sound proof so I could hear the person next door going in and out their room early morning. Secondly, I was in room 4 next to the guard house, 6:59 there seemed to be a radio call which I had to listen to. You can hear what is happening i. The guard house. That room is not ideal for someone traveling that needs sleep and a quiet room with no noise interruptions.

The Guest House was clean and has a nice vibe to it with friendly staff. The menu is good and the restaurant's Mediterranean setting was beautiful. The kitchen executed the menu superbly. The main hotel building has great rooms and some have full bathrooms. The last time I stayed in the Guesthouse I was upgraded to a King room.

I was not booked in the main hotel building this time, but the accommodation in the standard queen rooms are comfortable with sufficient space. I did miss the luxury feel of the King room though and would recommend spending the extra few rand.

The food was excellent with a lot of attention to detail, The service was exceptional, and staff were well trained and went out of their way to attend to our needs. Good management was evident, and the hotel has a lovely ambiance.

A personal dislike was the smallish size of our bedroom although understandable when you know the history of the hotel. My main gripe would be the glass wall tiles in the bathroom. I understand why they are there but was no way to darken the bedroom as the light from outside shone into the bathroom and there was no door on the bathroom to block it out.

The concierge is very welcoming and friendly, most of the staff and management gives excellent service. The food is great as well.

On our second breakfast the waiter took 45 minutes to get our food to us, even after they did we received no apology whatsoever. It was a terrible experience and we left unhappy. The kitchen staff needs serious hospitality training. Maintenance on the outside building can also be done.

The place it's self is so calming, as for the food wow so fresh, clean and mouthwatering

This was my second time visiting, this time they switched off the flowing water at 19:00 while we're still enjoying the sound of the waters. I wish they can review that unless it was caused by loadshedding. The water sound is the main reason that makes us to come and bring along others to experience

The breakfast display was beautiful and I even took a picture for the gram!! The staff were so welcoming!!

Access to the rooftop easier, because room I had to exit through the bathroom window to get to the rooftop for some air, and there was a receptionist that told my sister to change the short she was wearing since she thought it was too revealing and I honestly wasn’t I didn’t even see her bum(because wives complain that their husbands are distracted?! Why do they even look?!)… I mean she’s only fifteen years old, I was so shocked when my sister came up to me and told me such distraught news I honestly thought we were beyond that time. But that was forgiven and the overall stay was amazing.

Location is good. Breakfast was exceptional! Even the packed breakfast because I left early was more than what I expected. All the staff are always friendly and helpful and go out of their way to make sure you are happy and comfortable. Dinner every night was superb!!

There is nothing that I dislike about this guesthouse.

Lady to make up our room just came into the room without our call. When we left for breakfast, we left the room unpacked, our belongings scattered all over planning to sort it out after breakfast, surprisingly we've found cleaning lady already busy in our room. We didn't really like it.

The cleanliness, the comfortable bed and overall facility met my expectations. Took a dip in the beautiful clear blue swimming pool and liked the fact that towels were provided for us and a bell to ring for waiter service. Loved the fact that we had our own iron and iron board in our room as opposed to having to share it with all other guests in the facility. Prudence who was our waiter for 2 evenings while having dinner there was amazing, she was friendly, very welcoming and made sure we were well taken care of, truly appreciated it. My husband requested assistance in organizing a surprise birthday dinner for me with one of the reception ladies and I was so impressed, It was absolutely amazing, felt extra special on my special day and I'm happy the staff went out of their way to help my husband execute such a beautiful romantic night for me.

The menu is quite limited and a bit more variety can be provided for both breakfast and dinner. The morning staff (waiters) in the dining area could do with more enthusiasm and some smiles on their faces could go a long way when welcoming and serving guests in the morning.
