We had the most wonderful two-day stay at this charming B&B and genuinely didn’t want to leave! From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel incredibly welcome. The hosts were warm, attentive, and full of helpful recommendations for local spots to explore. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and so comfortable – every detail had clearly been thought through. The bed was dreamy, and we slept so well both nights. Breakfast each morning was absolutely delicious.  It’s clear the owners truly care about giving guests a memorable experience, and they absolutely succeeded. We can’t recommend this place highly enough - it’s a true gem.

It was beautifully decorated with tasteful finer touches. The room was very clean with really good quality cotton bedding. We loved the little extras so check as coasters, hand soap which smelt divine and no sore hands for me which is rare from hand soap. The rooms are well equipped with a very detailed check in which was helpful. Breakfast was good, fresh coffee so home from home for us. The dining room had lovely touches to it and we loved the Hedgehog art and theme running in the room. Paul and Sophie were friendly and take pride in their business which radiates throughout the property. This is a little gem that we will return to.

Paul and Sophie couldn’t have been more helpful and obliging. We were due at a family wedding at lunchtime and asked if we could drop off bags early. Paul and Sophie went out of their way to not only allow us to drop off bags but also have the rooms ready for us. This allowed our daughter to quickly change for the wedding after a stressful journey which was a real godsend. The breakfast was cooked to order and was just perfect. A really friendly place to stay, immaculately clean and well equipped.

Amazing place, owners are absolutely lovely, great central location to everything and only a short walk away for shop, walks and pubs/restaurants. Plus they have an adorable dog. The room was perfect, plenty of space, spotlessly clean, extremely comfy. Couldn't ask for a better base for our break. Complete with an amazing home cooked breakfast every day and recommendations for days out and where to eat from the Paul and Sophie were always spot on. If you want somewhere to stay for a walking holiday, this place is perfect, will definitely be staying again.

The property is immaculate and the attention to detail in the furnishings and decoration is superb. The hosts are caring and attentive. The breakfast menu is worthy of a special mention as everything is prepared to order and beautifully presented. The outside of the property is attractive and well kept with flowers and planting everywhere. It was a total pleasure to stay there.

That we were not able to stay longer!

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere. Most friendly and helpful owners, lovely and great first impression of the accommodation. Everything was exceptional. It was very clean and stylish. Room was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with our stay. We hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

This was a beautiful house with a beautiful room, absolutely beautiful bathroom and one of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in, everything you needed was available, excellent file in the room full of information about the area. The hosts were lovely and friendly and offered lots of excellent suggestions where to go to eat and have a drink. The breakfast was gorgeous with plenty of choice and made even better when their dog Sky came in to say hello. Both hosts asked if we were OK with the dog being there as they will take him away if people don't want him there. We would definitely recommend this place to stay and will be more than happy to return. Thank you to you both for making our stay so enjoyable.

There was NOTHING to dislike about it.

The variety of food offered for breakfast was excellent, beautifully cooked and plentiful. The house had recently been refurbished throughout and is immaculate inside and out. Paul and his wife are really friendly without being overbearing. We shall definitely be staying there again when the need arises.

We were unlucky with our parking as it is in the street and we had to walk a little way with our bags when someone else had parked right outside the property. This was only a very minor inconvenience as it was raining the day we left. It did not detract from our very pleasant stay.

So much to name. Very warm welcome. Offered to park on the drive straight away. Owner stuck a hand written note under my door regarding local shops Incase I was sleeping. Everything you want from a Guest House was top quality. You name it, it was 10 out of 10. The owner is an exceptional artist too. If I’m in this area again, I will definitely contact here as my first port of call. Thank you Paul & Sophie (and Sky) 🥰

I liked everything. The only thing I’ll put here, as a pre warning to anyone reading reviews, is that the owners have a lovely well behaved and friendly dog. I only put this in here Incase you aren’t a dog person. But I don’t consider this a negative for me personally.

Breakfast was fantastic. Room was fantastic. We were visiting relations so location was great for us. This was our second visit so that speaks volumns, wouldn't have come back if it wasn't any good! Paul and Sophie were great hosts and nothing was too much trouble. Hope to return next year if not before.
