The staff were very helpful with our last-minute booking, and they spoke very good english. They even held our bags for a couple hours after we checked out. Great shower and bathroom and the air conditioning was sufficient. It was a quiet, secluded place from the business in Trastevere. Trastevere itself is a fantastic place to stay for first-time visitors to Rome: food available everywhere and at most hours of the day, pharmacies very close, lots of convenience stores, and we even made a visit to the hospital for tourists (right around the corner...search "Guardia Medica Turistica" on Google maps, bring your passports and the service is free). Access to Rome's center is an easy taxi/uber away from this hotel or take public transport.

The only downside to this hotel is that our beds were fairly hard. Not the most comfortable. But we would stay here again because of location, the layout of the property, and the helpfulness of the staff.

The location was perfect—right in the heart of Trastevere, surrounded by charming streets, restaurants, and easy access to public transportation. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made the check-in/check-out process smooth. The property had a peaceful and cozy atmosphere, especially the lovely courtyard.

The internet connection was very slow and unreliable, which made it difficult to stay connected or get any work done online.

This property has approximately 18 rooms so feels small, intimate, and very special. We extended our stay to two nights so had two different rooms. Staff moved our belongings for us. We could not have enjoyed our stay more. The rooms were beautiful and spacious, the courtyard was absolutely magical. Our location in Trastevere is ideal for walking and sightseeing and for finding delicious food and nightlife.

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

The hotel is beautiful and full of character. The courtyard is so pretty and lovely to relax in. Our room was great- plenty big enough, super comfy bed and lovely exposed beams- felt like we were staying somewhere special. The staff at Le Clarisse are so warm and friendly, nothing was ever too much trouble and they have an excellent what’s app service to ask anything during your stay. The breakfast is a buffet style with everything you could want. The location is fab- in Trastevere near to heaps of great restaurants and away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre (only 30ish minute walk to the coliseum) I can’t really say enough good things about this hotel, having travelled a lot this is without doubt the best hotel I’ve stayed in.

Room was lovely. Hotel location is fairly central with short walks to the various sites of interest in Rome. Staff incredibly friendly and helpful. Great stay and very affordable comparatively. Do recommend.

Issues with noise leaking from the hallway into the room when other guests arrived or went. While not an issue during our stay could be problematic if unlucky enough to have noisy guests staying at same time as yourself.

The location is in Trastevere. It is not close to the big attractions in Rome but staying in this location is perfect because it is super picturesque. Rooms were boutique style, clean and matched the style of the area.

Honestly, this is a lovely hotel. I wouldn't want to say anything bad about it. Check in was friendly and helpful. Rooms were super clean and cute.

Excellent location and breakfast service. Attentive multilingual staff. Clean room with high pressure shower. Close to a tram stop that's four stations away from the train depot for travel to other parts of Italy or to the airport.

My room was a bit dark with only one courtyard-facing window. But it did help keep the city sounds to a minimum. Only local Italian-language TV -- though there was a second remote control, so maybe I just didn't figure it out. Not that you should visit Rome to watch TV in a hotel room :)

Location is fantastic and within easy walking distance of most of the central Rome key locations.

Breakfast is great, but as there is no other services during the day it would be good to have access to wine and beer glasses. The courtyard area is great for a relaxing end of day night cap or chill.

Just like the pictures. Clean and quiet! Our room was so cute and had a view of the garden sitting area for breakfast. Staff was so nice and helped us get private transportation since we had to leave for airport at 4:30am. We loved the location! Not inside city center but we wanted to be more where the locals were for food. City bus stops are right by the hotel so makes it easy to get to everywhere. a/c was so cold! Bed was comfortable and big. Definitely would stay here if we came back to Rome. Shower is a little small but was fine for my husband and I. I think that is expected being in Europe. Walking distance from hotel is a super popular restaurant. We tried to eat there because they had 24k 5 star reviews but the wait was a little long. But other restaurants in walking distance. Hotel felt secure and safe. Communication before we arrived with staff was good too.

The staff were so lovely, helpful and professional. It was so clean and gorgeous rooms. Perfect location if you want to feel more local! It was our anniversary and the gorgeous staff left us snacks, a bottle of prosecco and a handwritten note. It made us feel so special!

The breakfast was not the best.
