Great price compare to anything near by. Yes, property is still under renewal/construction but it benefits the location and gorgeouse view, no matter where your room is.
I guess, once reinovation process is over it'll be amazing

The motel was under new owners and they were working very hard to upgrade the property. The room I stayed in was freshly remodeled with a nice new floor, brand new beds and was well lit with new lighting. This place is an up and coming destination.
I really don't have any complaints.

The room was great, had a microwave, coffee machine and a mini fridge. The bathroom was clean and provided with towels and shampoos. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. It was a bit cold but there was a heating system. We had a problem with opening the door but the very nice lady from the reception helped us despite the rain. We could also leave the key in a box on our way out.
The breakfast was included in the price but it started at 7 am, while we had to leave a bit after 6 am. Earlier breakfast would be great to catch something for the road!

The manager was very kind and helpful with the reservation and even promoted our room! What a fantastic person and great service. The room was spacious, neat and clean. Warm rooms with thermostat as weather conditions were 7 degrees Fahrenheit. The lodge is very close to the south entrance of Sequoia National Park which is just a 15 min drive up the street. I am planning another trip here soon!
The included breakfast is a first come first serve basis. Be early otherwise food might run out.

Excellent value and location. Queen beds were comfortable, quiet A/C, very clean and well equipped mini suite which is attractive but NOT fancy. Outdoor dining patio has beautiful scenery (interior dining room's flooring is currently partially updated. Room is very bright due to windows but needs to be painted/decorated).
1.'Pull out' mattress in the sofa was very thin, worn out, and NOT very comfortable. 2. Hot water handle in shower needs to 'tightened' (loose but still worked----- shower was very comfortable). 3. Breakfast didn't have any juice or fruit.

It was a unique property that felt a lot like camp. It was clean, well maintained and definitely vintage. The bed was comfortable, the a/c worked and the hot water in the shower was perfect. The free breakfast was enough to get you started for the day. The views around the property were nice and the close proximity to the park was excellent.
Nothing really. If I had to say something, I guess adding some protein to the free breakfast would be nice-yogurt, peanut butter, etc.

You get what you pay for in terms of quality. It’s like a motel but excellent location (minutes from the park). Wi-Fi is quite spotty but considering there is no cell signal you can’t complain. The continental breakfast was better than most cheap hotels. Oatmeal, cereal, bagels, pastries, yogurt, coffee, juice etc. staff was very kind and helpful.
