The hotel is in an excellent location and we had a lovely room with a balcony that overlooked the square and the stalls and the clock tower. The room was very clean and had everything required and the beds comfortable. The air con was very good and quiet and effective. The staff were very helpful indeed and polite and cheerful. I was travelling with my mother and they showed us how to access the back entrance of the hotel to avoid the spiral stairs that are at the main entrance door to the hotel - although there was a more shallow set of stairs once outside in the street to negotiate this was easier. The breakfast was nice with fresh fruit etc and again the staff were helpful and cheerful.

A very minor point would be a lower bar in the wardrobe for hanging your clothes on would be useful otherwise everything was pretty spot on and fresh flowers in the room was a nice touch.

A truly wonderful stay was had. The hotel was what you you would call small, very friendly and family run. Exceptional staff and a very good breakfast. Lovely clean rooms serviced daily fresh cotton sheets and super comfy pillows. A lovely terrace on which to enjoy a drink, snack or breakfast overlooking the hustle and bustle of Piazza de Erb and it's daily market. The hotel is just yards away from Juliet's house and that famous balcony. I thoroughly recommend this little gem of a hotel.

We like the hotel in general, the location was great

Unfortunately, right at the end of the trip, as we leave our bags in storage, money from one of the bags that was placed on and outter pocket, was taken, this was the only real black mark we have with the place, everything else was great, and if it was not for that bitter moment, the trip and hotel would have been excellent, the staff is great in general, the place is great too, but one rotten apple can spoil the experience, i would still recommend the place, and i hope this can be sorted, lucky it was not a lot, but is could have been, and i am sure this can be sorted, and properly adress

Caterina helped us gain tickets for an opera. We were having a difficult time buying the Lirica Sala Girelli opera tickets on line and she graciously took care of it for us. The breakfast is the best we have had in Italy. They had such a variety of Italian meats and cheeses. Not to mention the special cake of Verona. I was happy to see the Mini omelettes. The best part is having the cappuccinos made and NOT from an automatic machine. Rm #9 has the best view of the piazza below that is always bustling with people. Even though it is located right in the center of things, we had no problem sleeping at night.

Amazing location! Right in the centre only 30 mins walk from the train station. Room was extremely comfortable, bed was really firm which can be rare in a hotel. Wished we’d stayed longer than a night.

We couldn’t get the tv to connect to the internet so there was only domestic tv but no biggie. Some tight stairs to get to the reception which was difficult with large cases, would be more difficult for someone less agile.

Excellent location, right in the heart of Verona. Lovely, very friendly and helpful staff. Drink and snack in room on arrival. Fantastic choice of buffet breakfast which you could take onto the terrace overlooking Piazza delle Erbe. Good size room with excellent, powerful shower. Steps up into first floor reception but lift up from there to rooms. Lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance. 15 minutes taxi from train station.

Location is perfect for exploring the old town of Verona. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Facilities in the room could be improved: a box of tissues is now standard in hotel rooms but none here. Lack of hooks in the room. And the structural arrangement of our room was curious: llying on the bed you could see the person on the toilet! Frosted glass obscuring the view would have been welcome.

The hotel is centrally located within walking distance of all the main attractions in Verona. It is a wonderful hotel with friendly staff that was very helpful. The breakfast was well presented with all you need to eat and well prepared. Our room overlooked the main Piazza and it was absolutely fantastic. Will definitely be back in the future.

The hotel lobby is one floor up. And there is no elevator to take your bags to the lobby. A short but narrow set of stairs will get you to the lobby. We were assisted by hotel staff once we arrived at the lobby. It is not a deal breaker but is good to be aware off especially if you are a more mature traveler.

The location was superb. Right by the main center of the old city. Our room was spectacular. We had a balcony overlooking the Piazza Erbe. Breakfast was very good and with good selection. The staff was amazing. Very helpful and attentive. Special mention to Caterina, Zoe, and Elena.

Best accommodations in Verona and in the heart of the Piazza. If possible, request room 9, you get a great view of the square. The whole staff was extremely helpful, friendly and attentive 24/7. We appreciated Elena's friendliness when arrived, along with the rest of the staff.

There was nothing to dislike, this was a perfect 1st time stay in Verona.
