Nestled between magnificent mountains with hiking trails, a lovely swimming pool and playground for the kids, Bushman Valley is a true relaxation escape away from the hustle and bustle. We enjoyed spending nights at the communal braai area, meeting new people and enjoying mountain views. Prince Albert is a quint, special, beautiful town, and our stay at Bushman Valley made it even better. Rooms were comfortable, beds were great and the kitchen appliances and utensils were better than expected, going the extra mile to make your stay away from home, even more homey. We loved our hike in the mountains, we loved the area, the quiet nature surroundings and the sounds of baboons playing. If we get the chance to come back, we most definitely will. Thank you to all the wonderful staff who made us feel welcomed and cared for.

Some of the cabins can have a fresh coat of paint. The ice machine was dirty inside. But after a quick rinse we were set :)

Although it’s close to the road it appears remote nestled at the foot of the mountains. You stay very close to nature and the surroundings are beautiful. The staff arranged a late check in for which we are grateful as we had a puncture that day, the accommodation is nicely sized and the unit is well equipped.

We liked the veiw and the room was wel equiped with everything we needed. The Ac really helped with the cold. They really keep the whole area clean and the staff are very helpfull. The wifi helped us on the rainy days and for those who like to watch tv,there is a nice and big smart android tv in the room.

The tiles in the room are very cold,the room has a small stoop in front of it with a little roof on the stoop,we had a lot of rain and the roof on the stoop leaked so we could not stand in the stoop while it was raining. The beds where to single beds together and not one double bed.

Thanks again for the fantastic stay. It‘s perfect situated, you are absolutely in touch with nature while only 5 min from the amazing village Prince Albert. Its beautifully made, the outside areas are cozy and the pool also a highlight. Will definitely come back.

Only some more kitchen equipment, salt & pepper would be great.

Brilliant location! Staff most pleasant and helpful, especially Oom Piet in telling us about the walking trails. A comfortable and well-equipped chalet (but see next comment).

The chalet needs a bit of maintenance: for example, the wind comes in through gaps in doors and walls.

Perfectly positioned just out of town close to the start of the Swartberg Mountain pass. Beautifully cared for property by very friendly and helpful staff. Our wooden cabin was extremely clean and comfortable. We loved the swimming pool and the central outdoor chill lounge area. We wish we had more time here to explore the surrounds and enjoy the hikes.

Stunning place, beautiful being so close to the mountains, very quiet, peaceful and definitely the place to relax.

Cabin definitely needs a mosquito net the nights were not so comfortable because of mosquitoes, the power in our cabin kept tripping but Timothy was such an immense help, very friendly and kind soul.

We stayed in the first wooden house and the place was clean and comfortable and spacious enough for my family of four. We experienced some strong winds during our stay but it was still pleasant. The kids would swim every opportunity they got but the one complaint is that they were offered juice to be quiet which was a bit offending to me. I was not at the pool at the time but they told me about it and if there is any reason why I would not return than this would be it.

The unit was very comfortable. It has everything that is needed. The bed was very nice. The unit was exceptional clean. The enjoyed the fact that it was in the mountains - quiet and peaceful. Staff was very friendly. We can recommend Bushmen Valley

The location is absolutely great.. just a word of advice... of driving from Oudtshoorn, don't take the Pass jnless you have an SUV, we nearly got stuck and had some hair raising moments. Jaque was amazing! My mum forgot her beloved watch at the property and he went to lok for it and posted it to us free of charge. He didn't have to do this. I was impressed by the honesty and professionalism. Would definitely stay here again as it was such an amazing location, staff are friendly and the beds super comfy with air conditioning too... And we had some animals come out to say goodmorning which was such a highlight!

The route,don't know how we made it out of that mountain alive in a small car lol.
