Breakfast was exceptional, Room was clean and looked nice, carpets on corridors a bit tired but clean and tidy. Staff very welcoming and helpful, Pub part was enjoyable, parking was good it was in the perfect position for where we needed to stay. Would stay again if we needed to

We went to the wake after a funeral at the pub, although the room clean etc only two large tables set up possibly would be better with a few small tables and the tables felt wobbly if you touched them, sandwiches were fresh and buffet was good

Proximity to shops, amenities etc

Ongoing issues of toilet roll holder broken or loose Vertical window blinds not sufficient in width / or working properly to shade from sunlight or people parking and walking outside!!! Didn’t want to pull down big blind as that shut out valuable daylight hours. Disappointed with part of an evening meal which I reported and was compensated for ( hadn’t expected that response but appreciated it)-- hadn’t happened previously

Local shops, supermarket and chemist plus rail station within walkong distance also selection of places offering different types of food. The breakfast choice was good especially the pancakes as an alternative to the aassorted english fried breakfast.

Breakfast for me is Porridge and yoghurt/fruit although not on the menu I did ask if they could do some but the young man said only did what was on the menu, I was happy with the pancakes so not a problem but would like to have had a healthier option on offer.

First time stay at this hotel. I often come to Biggleswade to meet up with friends, normally staying at a friends flat but this has become impractical in recent years so took a punt on the Stratton. For the price incl breakfast I was impressed, room is as expected, the bed was a bit hard but everything else was great. It will be my go to hotel when staying in the Wade from now on.

Just the bed, could have been better.

The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The room was a good size and clean.

The room needs a bit of TLC, it felt old and tired. The room was very warm when we slept in it, there wasn't air con only a small fan, was warm even with the window open. The bathroom needs a bit of uplift too. There wasn't any additional towels for the bathroom so would have been good to have more towels.

Comfortable hotel. Room basic but clean and tidy. Hotel rooms are a bit tired but are fine. Lobby and bar/ restaurant area was nice. Staff were really nice and helpful.

Rooms could do with a paint. Bed was wobbly but was useable. A bit more choice at breakfast and perhaps simpler choices, eg standard breakfast fare like scrambled egg on toast etc ( although they very kindly made me scrambled egg on toast when I asked). Could do with cereals as an option.

Most of the staff were friendly and accommodating. What made the visit especially was the breakfast. I was lovely. They accommodated for my allergy and the kitchen had remembered from the previous morning what I'd had and just gave it me without me asking.

In the room i had been given first I mentioned to the person in reception that there was a noise in the toilet which was continuous. I got the impression this feedback was not wanted and they wanted to hear it. They came to the room and they said that's just the way it is. I said this isn't right and they did change my room to one on the upper floor which was much better, and no noise from the bathroom.

My first and not last stay at the Stratton Hotel Biggleswade. All staff warm welcoming upon arrival. Thanks to front reception desk young lady who ensured things went smoothly and accordingly. Fantastic location and warm cozy clean tidy room certainly ensured a great comfy night sleep. Looking forward to staying there again 8n the near future.

Parking, Food. Saddle and spoke restaurant is really great. Very good menus. Size of rooms and big beds. Decent size telly in the bedroom. Plenty of hot water for a bath. Be prepared for security safety strip in the bath, great to prevent slipping...weird sitting on it though. Very good towels.

Some dusty areas but probably just like at home! Pillows very shallow. 10am check out a Sunday after a late ish night seemed harsh.

The Stratton house is central in the town so easy to access the local shops and facilities as well as being close to the train station and nr family and friends. Under the new owners the hotel is clean and welcoming and comfortable and the food is excellent

Some of the bits in the bedroom were a little dated however they were still usable and in good order so this is very picky
