This nice small hotel does not pretend to be anything it is not, nice and simple. Especially memorable is the open architecture of the restaurant building.

The hotel is located close to the main road to Štrbské Pleso, classic style from the time it was built, with a roof extending basically to the ground. The personnel is very helpful and kind. Clean and quiet at the time we were there. For the budget quite OK. They are trying to keep the hotel in good shape. Breakfast OK.

The property is noticeably aged, and repairs and replacements were made in quite some cases using cheap materials, which is a pity. Overall, one gets a "cheap" feeling. Teh surroundings also required some improvement to make the property more attractive. Breakfast is served from 7:30 in the morning, which is quite late if you plan for a long hike.

The hotel is very close to the train which goes to Strbskie Pleso regularly and it's a quiet location. Rooms are cosy not too small and have a balcony. Breakfast was good and it's well priced for what it offers

The hotel has it's best years behind it for sure, it could do with some renovations, especially bathrooms. The only usable amenity was table tennis.

Friendly staff, good bar/restaurant. The rooms need to be replaced, they are really old. Plenty of free parking.

Poor breakfast. We stayed during weekend and work day, so during the work days breakfast was really poor. The quality of rooms do not worth that money.

Good location — only 5 minutes to reach Tatranský Lieskovec train station, and just 8 minutes by train to Štrbské Pleso, a great starting point for a hike.

The room and bathroom requires renovation.

We needed cheaper hotel in Tatras area for one night so we expected older hotel. Room was clean except carpet that needed cleaning.

Not very comfortable pillows for longer stay Dusty carpet - allergy got worse in the room

Staff doesn't speak English, had to pay extra for the dog, overall too expensive for what you get. Next night stayed at twice as cheap place , where they had mini fridge and hair dryer and I didn't had to pay extra for the dog
