Staff were very pleasant and welcoming. the place was really busy, but this didn't stop the staff from assisting when required. They were always on hand. The dinner menu was stunning, food awesome. Breakfast was good and there was plenty available for the price. Bedrooms really spacious for 2 people. Great coffee machine and fresh cold water available for drinking at the taps in the lobby. All rooms supplied with a water jug. All the little extras such as bathrobes. sliders, soaps, shower gels all top quality.
The noise in the bar, was very loud . Everything echoed due to the wooden flooring and high ceilings. Would recommend noise dulling panels for the roof.

Staff were really attentive, welcoming and friendly Plenty of parking onsite Good sized room Very good shower and toiletries Good selection of hot drinks in room Restaurant menu (and food) very good and well catered for dietary requirements. Nice walking distance to town centre.
Hotel guests using the restaurant as a thoroughfare rather than main corridor meant it wasn't very relaxing. This could be fixed by a sign on a stand or rope barrier for those who don't see (or ignore!) the wall sign. Staff did try to stop them but not always able to. Breakfast was a bit chaotic and felt understaffed, though staff there did try their best and can't fault them. Entrance door to ground floor corridor had quite a bang to it so could do with a slow close fitting or something to soften the noise.

It’s a spacious comfortable and well located hotel which I have used for previous visits to Kilmarnock.
I was allocated an adapted room. Unfortunately I was not informed of this and it did not cater to my abilities. There was no hand rest at full standing level in the bath/shower. As I am unsteady on my feet I needed this support when showering and was put at risk of slipping without it. Assuming I did not make a mistake when booking, I should have been informed of this beforehand and given a choice. By the time I returned from dining out it was too late to rectify this.

Comfortable and fairly new hotel a little way out of the Kilmarnock town centre. Staff are friendly and engaging. Plenty of free parking (hotel is also a conference centre). Excellent evening meal in Blues restaurant (booking recommended) - however there was quite a bit of noise from a party going on in an adjacent room. Good self-serve breakfast with both hot food and cereal/toast/pastries, and gluten-free was well catered for (they cooked a separate GF breakfast to order).
Rooms have shower over bath, not a walk-in shower. Couldn't turn the heater in the bathroom off.

Dinner was outstanding in the main restaurant. Portion size was really good, the dishes were interesting and delicious. Breakfast too was very nice though the buffet part of that was slightly limited. The staff were fantastic. Really helpful at reception and the waiting staff in the restaurant were really warm and friendly.
The floorboards: I don't think it is unreasonable to expect a 4-star hotel to not have squeaky floorboards. I was woken several times during the night from guests in the floor above being up and about thanks to the noisy floorboards.

The hotel looks in good condition and is kept clean and tidy, in fact the public spaces were pretty much spotless. Rooms comfortable. Beds huge. Plenty of shower gel and shampoo. Good choices extensive, particularly for veggies/vegans. All good. Top of our list though was the excellent service, from check-in to check out. Restaurant staff were superb. They made our two night stay even better. Thanks.
Virtually nothing. It’s close to all amenities. Plenty of parking (no Killie match that weekend). We left a note about a couple of minor maintenance issues in our room.

A nice modern hotel. All of the staff apart from one were very good.
The lady in charge of breakfast seemed rude.. The large breakfast seemed a bit small. The style of the way the breakfast was a mix of self service and ordering and being served. A buffet style would be better. The rest of the staff were excellent. It was very hot in the room and no air con or cooling feature. Some of the carpets in the hallway had holes or damage. The tiles on the stairway had damage and cracks.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Blue restaurant and coffee shop. Room was clean and spacious. Tea making facility. Excellent nights sleep comfortable bed. Location close to town. Would stay in future but would not use restaurant for meals.
Restaurant - Gluten free option for dinner not good choice. Serving staff no knowledge Ordered steak pie GF and got steak in bowl bit sloppy and tasteless. Bit of a mix up with dessert and when spoke to server he took note of the correct order and never appeared back to our table and we overheard a debate going on about our order between the staff. At this we asked what the problem was.

I liked the convenience and cleanliness of the hotel. Staff were great to deal with and had no issues. Will stay again next time in the area.
There are charge place Scotland chargers behind the hotel which are always handy but this company is not servicing their machines and we had to charge elsewhere. Although this is not the hotel’s concern, it is a good selling point for EV users. Perhaps the hotel would consider installing their own network and provide their customers with a better charging facility. It would also increase revenue from tariffs for other non hotel guests which would also increase foot fall traffic for coffee’s and drinks whilst charging.

Reception was very friendly. We arrived late, quite tired and they also cheerfully helped arrange a taxi the following morning. The option to add breakfast was expensive, however you can visit the cafe & purchase on your own for about half the price.
For the price, the room we were in had a bit more wear than I would expect--minor things like worn carpet and loose tiles, generally a little shabby compared to the appearance of the lobby, etc. However, it was clean, comfortable, quiet and we felt safe. Would stay again.
