The hotel is a stunningly beautiful building. The staff were amazing, so nice and helpful. Service exceptional. The location of the hotel is perfect for walking around Bucharest. It has a spa with pool, sauna and steam room. Treatments were fantastic. I will definitely stay here again.

I cannot make a single complaint. Everything was perfect. Short of controlling the weather the staff could not have done more for us.

This centrally located hotel in the Old Town is ideal for a mini break in Bucharest. It is high end and everything you need. Very nice spa and pool area for relaxing after sightseeing.

At first we were given a room with very high ceilings and one small skylight. We felt that we were in a claustrophobic prison cell. The staff very kindly found an alternative room with a lovely big window. I would really suggest to the hotel that rooms without windows are removed from future guest use unless absolutely essential. I would not have been able to stay in a windowless room without getting very depressed.

The interior is just stunning! The staff is very attentive and the rooms are clean and comfortable! We also enjoyed the pool and it's just amazing. The bonus was that it was empty, so we could enjoy it all for ourselves!

The fact that there is a deposit of 50€ per day and you only know about it when you get to the hotel. I didn't like that, they should post it on booking as well to warn clients.

The building itself, the headquarter of a former old bank is absolutely gorgeous and I really appreciate that they kept the style and the design from those old times in the lobby, restaurant and bar. We also really enjoyed the Vault bar, it is worth visiting even if you are not staying at the hotel - the cocktails were expensive but special but the design of the bar is what makes the experience worth it (it is placed in the actual vault of the former bank). The spa, although it was rather small, was very clean and well equipped and the massages were also very good. The rooms were very tall, bed was very comfortable. The staff was nice and helpful. Location is great, in the city center, close to everything. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

I was asked to pay a deposit upon arrival, which was more than the total cost for our stay. We were not expecting this and did not have the funds ready on the bank card we planned to use.

Probably the most beautiful hotel in Bucharest. Stunning interior! The bar inside the hotel is also a must see!

Our view from the room was not great whilst I don’t think any of the rooms has nice views. We felt safe in the area but most properties around the hotel looked like they were already or almost falling apart. Also there was a bit of an odd smell in the room

The staff - not something I would have expect from a five stars hotel. The staff were extremely impolite, and didn’t feel as they want to serve or work, at all. They do you a favor by even talking with you.

The Marmorosch is a fantastic place to stay for several reasons. The building itself is beautiful from both the inside and the outside and its history of being an old bank makes staying there very special - I would recommend checking out the Vault bar in the hotel, which is located in the actual vault of the old bank. Aside from that, the location is ideal for exploring Bucharest with lots of interesting sights, restaurants, bars etc within walking distance. The staff were very nice and helpful too and our room was very comfortable. I would absolutely stay there again.

There wasn't anything we didn't like

The staff was very polite, the place looks amazing, the cocktails were great and the spa facilities were nice. Moreover, the location is great because there are great coffee shops and restaurants nearby.

I stayed there for 3 days and I expected the cleaning services to clean my room after the first night, but it never happened until I left and it's not that it was a mess or anything, but I expected this to happen since the stay there costs a great amount of money. I was in the room when they first came, at about 10.30 AM, but they said they would come back later and I left the room in the following 10 minutes and came back at 10 PM and nobody came back.

The building is incredibly beautiful - an impressive bank built 1923 and sympathetically restored/remodelled. The staff are excellent - thoughtful and professional. Rooms have high ceilings and are sumptuously fitted. Just on the edge of the old town - close but quiet.

The outdoor hotel restaurant/cafe plays rather loud music until midnight. Noise insulation is good, nevertheless.
