Beach. Staff. Breakfast is great and has many food selection and varies everyday. Rooms by the beach are very nice. Spa by the beach. Airport shuttle for group of families.

The resort is open for day tour guests, which is very disappointing. There should be a special area for day tour guests (sometimes come as a big group) as they stay the whole day and occupy the nicest spots to enjoy and relax by the beach, and affects privacy of in house guests.

Oceanica resort is truly a tropical paradise. The staff is amazing - everyone was very nice and assisted us with any questions, helped us organize transfers, tours, etc. Our beachfront room was very comfortable. It was cleaned well every day. Breakfast and the restaurant menu were good too. And of course the beach is wonderful. If you want to have a peaceful and relaxing time at the beach or at the pool and pool bar, it's better to use a more tranquil East wing of the resort (poolside rooms and the larger premium beachfront rooms are located there), as the day walk-in guests are not allowed in that part of the resort. Also the best snorkeling spots are closest to the East wing.

we notice that they allow outsiders to just come & go specially foreigners that makes it crowded during daytime & occupying the areas that were suppose to be for the legit guests of the resort. food & drinks are a bit expensive

love that you have access to 2 pools, and the whole property is nice and quiet. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. There are ramps for PWDs and the property is very PWD-friendly. We love that there's free access to south farm and you can also rent a paddle/kayak board for free. There's also a recreation center which my friend and I enjoyed playing at. Gym is available 24 hours - sad I wasn't able to use it though! Love that happy hour starts at 7am! lol

Check in is at 3pm.. All hotels I've stayed at always had a 2pm check in and when we asked the staff, they just said, it is what it is... Food was a bit pricey and you can find cheaper options outside the hotel.

This resort is heavenly.....large, luxurious and very likable. The rooms were capacious and clean--mine had a ginormous comfy bed. Even though the sea view rooms were not actually steps from the water it was more private being back a bit and the sea view from the room was just marvelous. On the nice little terrace there was a chair, side table and a bean bag chair which we dragged down to the edge of the trees on the gorgeous beach (and returned !). Flip-flops, palm leaf tote bag, plush toy, peanut kisses, and bottle of wine were complimentary in my room. Although there was a wedding on the beach the first night, there was a notification in the room and the celebration stopped promptly at 22:00. The breakfast buffet was incredible and served in the open air building in front of the day-access pool with a sea view. Incredible choices available to suit every palate. A lot of the produce comes from South Farms which you can grab the free shuttle to visit. My two teenage grandchildren loved our visit there. They caught my fish which was grilled and ready for our lunch for a small fee. Food at the restaurant in the resort was a bit pricey so we walked down the beach several nights for dinner or took the very cheap (3€) tuktuk (which you can order easily from the front of the resort) to Alona beach which was heaving with people Great dinner at Gerry's ! There are two pools; one is available also for day access guests with bar/restaurant and sun loungers and chairs The other pool is for resort guests only with bar/food, sun loungers, chairs and tables. More people in the late afternoon Service was quick and staff friendly. Occasionally dishes and glasses were not cleared away from departed customers but was quickly resolved. Security staff were very friendly and conscientious about keeping day guests or passing beach goers in designated areas. Massages with sea view----marvelous !!!!

Almost nothing ! No mosquito problems-use bug spray. Use pool bar during day as other bar area can be overwhelmed.

It is nice that in house guests have private areas to relax separated from day-guests. The security was great in protecting these areas. The location was excellent for a quiet and laid back holiday. The beach was not crowded compared to Alona. The free toiletries and beverage items are also of high quality. We liked the coffee bags and Twinnings teabags. The nightly live music was very good as well as their song selections. The breakfast buffet has vegetable dish options and fruits that we enjoyed so much. The omelette station staff were great.

There was a wedding where noise was expected and we’re informed to finish at ten pm but noise went longer.

The beach is one of the best in Bohol. We took front beach room and I think its the best as garden have no sew view and pool room have no privacy:) The beach is very long so you can take a walk.

We expected from 5 star hotel that breakfast would be a bit better and with coffee from coffee machine. In General restaurant there is not that good and quite expensive thats why we preffered to eat somewhere else. To be honest only few times in my life I have stayed in hotel with great breakfast. And it was only in boutique hotels. To eat out I reccomend Mist restaurant:) We didn't get any discount on 10 days stay, and it was quite expensive. There is no water in front of the room to clean up you feet from sand. Very often there are some weedings or different partys. The good think is they where finished by 10-11pm. A lot of people are coming there outside from hotel which we didnt like as it gets to crowded sometimes.

We liked the rooms, the facilities, the beach access, the massages and especially the staff. Also,the fact that the water sports facilities (paddle boards, kayaks)could be used for free was a great plus.

We didn’t realise that we were some distance from the restaurants and night life of Alona Beach. But the benefit of no crowds at the South Palms outweighed this disappointment. My wife and I wanted to play volleyball but the court seemed to be constantly taken over by locals who weren’t staying at the resort and who refused to let us play on the court, even though they were not using it. Very disappointing.

Location and proximity from the airport. Clean facilities. Happy Hour was a plus. Breakfast was good, maybe add Longganiza to the menu.

The public had access to the facilities apparently they can hang out by the property (blocked some areas for guests only) but the main eating area there were a lot of locals with their bags and took the best hammock with the red padding near the shaded tree. I can never access that area because their belongings are already placed early in the morning. The 3 days we were there that area was always full of people unable to determine if they were guests. Also they charged us 1K pesos extra per hour after check out time as our flight was 5pm. We only asked for late check out at 2pm (12 noon was check out) but they ended up charging us 2K pesos. The main pool could use some updating as the paint was chipping.
