It is exactly like the photos, maybe better! The rooms are comfortable, the staff is great! Breakfast has multiple styles of breads and pancakes, fruit, fresh squeezed OJ, coffee and tea. It is very close to the Medina but in a quiet neighborhood.

It was difficult to find. It might be easier to find if you drive to the Medina first and then click the directions link from the bookings.com app. Be sure not to arrive during the call to prayer. The cook who answered the door does not speak English and kept saying no to all of our questions. Just wait until the prayer is over. All of the men speak English and are very friendly. It was our favorite hotel stay in Morocco.

A really lovely Riad just outside the Medina which is nice after exploring the fun but noisy square and souks. The Manager/owner of the Riad was so welcoming to our family of 4, happy to help us with any extra requests in preparation for our flight the following day - he even had a baggage weight so we could check our luggage weights which was great. We had a nice big room - beds were really comfortable (not hard like they often can be in Morocco), and our bathroom was very spacious, complete with a big bath. Breakfast on the terrace was good with fresh fruit salad, juice, coffee/tra etc - kids loved the fresh pancakes. This was our second stay in Marrakech, previously staying inside the Medina but should we return we would choose this Riad again for comfort and service.

We enjoyed our stay here. We were warmly greeted by Rasheed upon arrival and offered tea and biscuits. We travelled with our baby and staff had already kindly set up a crib for our son. The Raid is located in a central location making it easy to walk to local sites. That said, it was tough to get to the parking lot due to construction so we had to walk about 15mins with luggage. The room itself was pleasant, similar to the images online. However the sheets were a bit dirty upon arrival but changed the next day. I read reviews with concerns about the room being a bit chilly and our first night was absolutely freezing, so cold that we looked into buying a space heater. Given the reviews, I assumed this was just how the stay was going to be. However, I mentioned our concerns to staff & they helped us set up the heat/cooling system & the temperature for the rest of the stay was perfect. Breakfast included in the stay was delicious and all staff were lovely. Would stay here again.

A wonderful welcome from the team with local biscuits and mint tea as we sat in the cosy nook taking in the beauty of the riad. The room was spotless and so inviting and the air con was perfect after a hot day looking around Marrakech. The pool is amazing and just what you need after a hot day, it's great for a cool dip. The riad is beautiful and a haven of peace and tranquility from the business and noise of the streets of Marrakech. The staff were so helpful and kind. We were a family of 4, two adults and two 7 year olds. The riad is walking distance to the nearby sights.

The Riad Ciel d'Orient was an oasis for me and my wife. Start with the very warm and friendly staff who went out of their way to help us with any of our needs/requests. They made us feel like family the whole time during our week-long stay. Thanks to Said, Rashid, Abdelwahab, and the wonderfully friendly breakfast chefs who prepared our delicious morning meals. Next, the Riad is very well-situated on the edge of the medina, close to everything, within easy walking distance. Finally, the rooms were clean, easily big enough for two people, and everything worked. We couldn't have imagined a better place to stay. Definitely a 10 out of 10. Would highly recommend to anyone heading to Marrakech.

We were a family of 4. Rooms were a good size and nice and clean. Very friendly and helpful staff who gave us complementary tea and were very nice. Breakfast was excellent, tea, coffee, and Moroccan food and fruits. Very relaxing place and right in the middle of everything , such a good location. They will also organise airport transfers, and they minded our luggage for pretty much the whole day on our last day. 12.30pm check out is great

The staff were so friendly. The food was amazing. I'm glad the hotel contacted us to arrange dinner for the night we arrived. Great tagine and breakfast excellent too. We liked the location. Loved the terrace for a bit of relaxing, coffee, sunshine.

The room felt a bit exposed at night as we could hear people coming in late at night, twice trying to get into our room.

Beautiful riad located at the edge of the medina within walking distance of the souks and most of the major sights. Abdelwahab and his staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, get orientated and answer whatever query we had. The riad is exceptionally clean. We travelled with our 2 year old and all the staff made us feel welcome as a family.

Nothing. Maybe an eggs option for breakfast would help. The breakfast was very generous as it is though so you're not going to go hungry!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this riad! The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The ambiance is charming, and every detail reflects the authentic beauty of Moroccan culture. I truly enjoyed my time here and will definitely come back on my next visit. The riad was lovely, fresh, clean, in a quiet alley 10min walk from Jemma el fna. Note that I read comments before coming, saying that walking by night in the Medina is not recommended.. well we felt very very safe. I'm not sure if it's the location, or the staff in the riad, or just Moroccans warm heart, but we love our trip. We rarely travel twice to the same place, but we could do an exception here :) Special mention to Essaid for the nice chats at night. We had a brilliant stay and he made us feel incredibly welcome. Hope you see you again !

It's not even a negative comment because we actually loved it: we woke up to cute little birds in the morning, they start singing around 7am which is perfect, but these little devils are quite noisy..! We always intended to make up rather early and I love the fact that these birds feel home too in the riad, nature is beautiful :) but I thought it would be good to know if you want to sleep late in the morning.
