We had an amazing stay at this riad in the heart of the Medina! From the moment we arrived, I was welcomed with warm hospitality by the amazing staff who went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable throughout our stay. The location couldn’t be more perfect – right in the middle of the vibrant medina, making it easy to explore Marrakesh. The riad itself was a peaceful oasis, beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. The traditional Moroccan breakfast each morning was delicious, and the attention to detail in every aspect of the riad made my stay truly unforgettable. We highly recommend this riad to anyone looking for an authentic and exceptional experience in Marrakesh. Can’t wait to return! Thank you! W and N

Dar Andamaure is definitely the place to go ! We had high expectations but this place exceeded in every respect. Marie and her team are not only highly professional, but also nice and so friendly. They make your stay unique and unforgettable. Our suite was very clean and spaceous. Andamaure is perfectly situated for reaching out for all typical Marrakech sightseenings. In addition they take care of any additional trip that you may plan. They arranged for us an unforgettable, tailor-made one-day trip to the high Atlas mountains, local markets in the Ourika valley and visits to exceptionally nice places (Anima Garden, le paradis de safran etc.) all with a personal driver as guide. We loved the daily breakfast in relaxing atmosphere on the top roof of the Riad, or the exceptional candle-light dinner, all served by the extraordinary friendly staff. The entire team was just outstanding. Un très grand merci à toutes et tous ! Chaleureusement, Kurt et Franziska

Frankly, we can't report anything that we didn't like at Dar Andamaure.

Our stay at Dar Andamaure was absolutely unforgettable. Nestled in the lively Medina, this charming riad is a peaceful retreat that perfectly balances traditional Moroccan style with modern comfort. From the moment we stepped through the door, we were welcomed with genuine hospitality, refreshing mint tea, and a calm that felt worlds away from the busy streets outside. The riad is beautifully decorated with intricate tilework, warm colors, and thoughtful touches throughout. Our room was spacious, clean, and full of character, offering everything we needed for a restful stay. The rooftop terrace was a true highlight—perfect for soaking up the sun or enjoying a peaceful sunset over Marrakech. What made our experience truly special was the wonderful team. Marie and Hervé, the owners, have created a truly magical place, and their passion and attention to detail shine through in every corner of the riad. Abdullah and Zine were incredibly kind and attentive, always ready with a warm smile, helpful tips, and outstanding service that made us feel completely at home. Each morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast of fresh fruit, homemade pastries, and Moroccan specialties. One evening, we chose to have dinner at the riad—and it was one of the best meals we had during our trip. If you’re looking for a beautiful, authentic, and welcoming place to stay in Marrakech, Dar Andamaure is a true hidden gem. We can’t wait to come back. Frank & Carolin

Everything was perfect from the airport pick up to departure. Dar Andamaure is in an exceptional location. It is an oasis of tranquility yet only a couple of minutes walk to the characterful and colourful streets of the souk and medina. It has six bedrooms yet so many little terraces and covered areas to sit, all beautifully and tastefully decorated. Breakfast is a delight with fresh yoghurt and fruit and a selection of bread and pastries. It was recommended by our family but even so far exceeded expectations. The staff are charming and so helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Marie and Herve are wonderful hosts and a mine of information, happy to recommend or arrange trips. It is hard to balance professionalism with a home from home feel but they manage it with aplomb! Marrakesh itself was everything and more than I had hoped. I miss it already so already planning our next visit. Best moments were sitting on the beautiful roof top of Dar Andamaure in the evening listening to call to prayer which is wonderful, wandering around the souk and soaking up life in a different culture. Thank you all so much.

It was perfect so nothing!

Breakfast was wonderful. a delicious range of fruit, breads and pastry's along with eggs or omelets, fresh orange juice and coffee. When weather allowed taken on the terrace overlooked by the Atlas mountains. What a wonderful start to the day. All the staff were very welcoming, hospitable and enthusiastic, they couldn't do enough for you. Marie and Herve have a team of exceptional people, who go out of their way to ensure you have all you need. Thank you to you all. We ate at the ryad on one occasion and the meal was delicious, served in intimate and peaceful surroundings and very good value.

We have no complaints or suggestions for improvements. It was an idylic and wonderful experience.

Riad Dar Andamaure is a beautiful decorated and cosy/homely central accommodation with the best breakfast, which is served on the rooftop unless it happens to be a windy or wet morning, The hosts, Marie and Heurve are so friendly and helpful and will run through all the do's and don't and advise you on everything and treat their guests like friends. The staff, particularly Abdula and Zined, were exceptional also. Two gentlemen who look after the guests so well and an absolute pleasure to deal with. Your room is cleaned daily along with fresh towels. The Riad is tucked away at the end of an alley, minutes walk from the Medina/souks which is the heart of the city. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend here. They offer free transfer from the airport to them and will arrange a reliable transfer for your return home. This only costs 100 dirham (approximately 10 euro). Extremely reasonably priced.

We had no faults with our stay here.

An incredible stay! First of all the transfer from the airport was smooth and stress free, getting around in Marrakech had been a bit of a worry for me so having that taken care of was extremely appreciated. The location is right in the middle of the old town but out of the way enough so there is virtually no noise. Perfect for those who want to spend hours exploring the souks. The riad itself is very beautiful and has a high standard of furnishings, facilities and comfort. Although I didn’t spend a great time of time here I enjoyed the many small comforts that were provided. Breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit, yogurt, pastries and choices of eggs. Not to mention the freshly squeezed orange juice and home made jams. Staff were always on hand to answer any questions and would cater to whatever needs you may have. I would definitely come again.

Marie and her staff, Abdou and Zine, went above and beyond! I would give them 15 out of 10 stars. Marie helped us book spa services, arranged for a taxi to pick us up from the airport, and helped arrange luggage transportation to/from. Additionally, the staff made special gluten free pastries for breakfast to accommodate an allergy. Just ask and you will find the help and hospitality you are seeking. Upon arrival, we were greeted with mint tea and a map of the medina, which Marie highlighted with attractions and useful info (ATM location, restaurants, etc) and personally explained to us. (By the way, Marie speaks at least four languages...she is incredible). There is a staff member on site 24/7 for assistance or to let you into the building. There are plenty of cozy spots to relax if you are looking for relaxation. We enjoyed the roof terrace for breakfast and sunbathing. We had dinner at the Dar one night and it was by far the best meal we had in Marrakech. You will truly feel at home here during your stay!

Because this is a Dar, not a Riad, it is a little bit smaller space. We enjoyed the intimacy and found comfort in plenty of spaces throughout the Dar. We never felt cramped or uncomfortable.

- The service was par excellence. Marie and her team have created the most wonderful little enclave amidst the crowded medina. Marie was the loveliest host and a huge shoutout to Abdullah and Zine; amazing service throughout, nothing was too inconvenient for them. - Rooms and bed were comfortable; bathroom spotlessly clean and the aroma of orange blossoms were so welcoming. - Loved the little indoor pool downstairs; perfect after walking around the medina. - The upstairs terrace was the best space to hang out in the evenings when it was starting to cool down. They had so many spaces for you to just hang out and relax. - Location was excellent; it’s inside the medina itself so getting everywhere was a breeze. - Breakfast was something new every day. The homemade yogurt was one of the best I’d ever tasted. We also ordered their dinner of a Marrakech delicacy, tangia. The whole set menu was really good; all served upstairs on the terrace with lovely views of all the roofs and the Koutoubia Minaret in the distance. - Complimentary airport transfers were offered and gratefully accepted. - We were still allowed use of the public spaces after check out as our flight was an evening flight. Same level of service was provided by the staff.

Nothing!

What a perfect find for a long weekend in Marrakech. Our hosts were superb and made sure that we had everything we needed from the moment that we exited the airport until our return there. They made our stay most comfortable, explained the many places to visit and they certainly fed us extremely well. The Riad itself was set-back in an alley system behind, but away from the loud, busy main square and the hustle and bustle of the city; and yet it was amazingly central to everything. It was very pleasantly decorated in a traditional Moroccan way/style, with a cooling pool and many plants and we had a delightfully compact en-suite room off the central courtyard. We loved the rooftop area in the shade with the warm breeze and especially after several hours exploring the souqs and many historical sites, museums, ruins and gardens. It is very much a ‘walking city’, if you are this close to the centre. One has to go to Marrakech to ‘get this’ The breakfasts were heavenly: with fruit, yoghurt, preserves, traditional and French breads and home made pastries, mint tea and coffee etc We really didn’t need to eat for the rest of the day! We enjoyed the traditional tajine meal in the evening, and eagerly arranged to have another evening meal in the Riad on our last night when we were also shown the local fire-pit where the homemade food was cooked for five hours and also where the local bread was made. The food was delicious, presented well and delightfully served. Marie and Hervé (our hosts) were very chatty and were very keen to make sure that our stay was as comfortable as it could be. We’d go back there in an instant, and would highly recommend it to others as a great central destination.
