We recently stayed at Kaz’Alala, and it was a truly relaxing and memorable experience. From the start, the hospitality was exceptional. Jayah at reception was incredibly kind, explained everything clearly, and made us feel right at home. We were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a family room—such a thoughtful gesture! The room was spacious, with one large bed and two smaller ones, and it even had two private bathrooms. Everything was spotlessly clean. The decor had a charming, old-fashioned feel, reminiscent of the 1960s or earlier, which added to its unique character. The room also included modern conveniences like a safe, a desk, and very comfortable beds. The shared living area was a nice touch, complete with a kettle, tea, and glasses, perfect for unwinding in the serene surroundings. The landscaping was beautifully maintained, with lush greenery and peacocks roaming the garden, creating a peaceful and natural ambiance. There’s also a small but clean swimming pool on the property, which was rarely used and perfect for a quiet dip. One of the highlights of our stay was the access to facilities at two nearby hotels, the beach club, and the Château de Bel Ombre. This was an incredible bonus that added variety and luxury to our trip. Whether it was the stunning beach or exploring the historical charm of the château, it truly elevated our experience. Dinner at the restaurant was delightful. Chanesh, who oversees the restaurant, was attentive, helpful, and ensured that we had a wonderful dining experience. Note that reservations are required for dinner, which makes everything feel organized and stress-free. Kaz’Alala is the perfect escape from modern life, offering tranquility, beautiful surroundings, and excellent service. Highly recommended for anyone looking to disconnect and recharge!

Nice rooms in a beautiful garden, good breakfast (fruits, pancakes, local specialities eggs etc) , lunch and dinner also recommendable. Especially Vanessa made our stay very comfortable, taking care of us and the children in a very caring way. The use of Club C beachbar is a nice extra!

Lots of mosquitos, carry your repellent and keep the doors of the rooms closed..

Property was beautiful and well kept, we loved all the birds and trees. Access to the Heritage resorts was a huge plus, as we could use all their pools, bars and beach, etc. IMO this makes Kaz’alala a great “budget” resort stay. All the staff members were really friendly and went out of their way to help us. Bel Ombré itself is very peaceful and beautiful, a lovely place to stay - but don’t expect many amenities or shops nearby (unless you have a car).

Breakfast was a bit basic, not so much choice. We would have appreciated a water jug for boiled water (as no drinking water was provided, but we could boil our own).

Enjoyed especially the tamarind fruits at breakfast, the possibility of using le heritage surroundings, pools and restaurants especially le chateau. But we also liked the little swimming pool close to our apartment and relaxing in the hammock. There is also a wonderful garden with different fruit trees. Many thanks for all the team members. Somewhat restless sleep due to sagging mattress.

The place is located in surroundings of beautiful nature, with tropical trees and birds chirping at your hand's reach. The rooms are clean, spacious and well-equipped. The staff is extremely helpful. Living in Kazalala allows you to access you Beach Club in Telfair Resort, which is a superior enhancement of the offer.

Breakfasts could be more diverse on day-to-day basis.

Everything was amazing from the staff, to the food, the place and the location. Perfect for those looking for a quiet place to relax but also very close to many of the south's main activities. Having access to the Heritage hotels is a big bonus too.

From the room description and pictures, we expected to have our own kitchen and living area but they were instead a shared space with about three other rooms. It was disappointing as we expected a private area where to relax and cook. The restaurant had great food but the portions were quite small.

The staff at Kaz'alala were all very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our meal at the restaurant and the breakfasts too. The rooms are simple but good value for money. We absolutely loved having access to the other hotel in the resort group. The C Beach club was great - we spent two half days there. If you want the all inclusive resort feel without the price tag then Kaz'alala is a great choice.

We stayed here for 7 nights and it was perfect. I liked the ambience of the whole setting, we had a spacious, nicely decorated room in a creol-style building, with shared terrace, kitchen and living room, all set in a large green garden. There is an on site restaurant with great cuisine where you can have lunch and dinner as well if you want. Staff is amazing, everybody is so helpful, open and kind. Special thanks to Deborah who kindly helped us solving an issue (not related to our stay in Kaz'alala). Close to Kaz'alala there are 2 five star hotels on the beach, plus a beach club and a chateu you have access to since all this belongs to the same group.

We stayed in Kaz'alala for 8 nights and highly recommend the stay. The place is really beautiful and we would come back any time to stay there. From cleaners, to waiters, to cooks, to management: everybody was very friendly and open minded. What a great experience, thank you so much. Dinner was a real joy, very tasty food! Breakfast was rather basic, but good.

They have a unique product offering in the mid-range accommodation market and are well worth visiting.

They need to review their evening set menu. The food was good but they serve the same menu on two consecutive nights. There should be a new set menu every night or alternatively they should only have an al a carte menu. The latter would be my preference.
