Surprising big, and incredibly comfortable, we came to San Diego for a convention and Town and Country exceeded all expectations. Hotel food is not normally great, don't expect great food here. It's decent, it's not horrifically overpriced, but this is not a foodies resort; not even the coffee was good and coffee is always good. This resort is immaculate and well-designed for its guests. The Monkey Bar was adorable.

The staff was a little young. I think there is something to say for experience, and you could just tell there were a lot of people here who didn't have "finesse" - shall we say. I was joking around with a very young staff member and touched her. Maybe put my hand on her shoulder - I don't even remember. Her supervisor came up to me, signaled me to leave my group of colleagues and then chastised me "You are not allowed to touch our staff members" and told me "Don't touch her again." I mean, seriously, I am a 62 year old gray haired old LADY. Seriously, a first for me.

Loved the nostalgic vibe. Room and facilities were nice and clean. Wood floor was nice touch. Beds were comfortable. The pool was hoppin'! DJ/bands at the pool and the Monkey bar were great. Lappers restaurant had good food and service. Lots of activities for whole family. Parking was easy. No freeway noise despite being nearby.

There were 2 unexpected charges that i didn't know about until I checked-in, a $20 hotel fee and a $35 parking fee - per day. Definitely something that should have been better outlined in the booking.com site at time of booking.

Nice lobby area with a bar and comfortable seating. Cool pool area for adults and an area for kids. Comfortable bed and clean room. Only stayed one night, so I didn't use all of the facilities. The price was good for the quality.

They have a store within the resort area, but you'll have to walk quite a distance to get to the stores around or if you want to get something to eat.

The decor and style were fantastic. The staff were very friendly and professional. The grounds were very well maintained and the bar was excellent.

The lack of lighting in the room. We had to use the lights from our phones to provide the lighting that was missing in the room. There were two very small lights between the beds and one lamp with a heavy lampshade on the desk, and none of those did anything to light up the room. We were traveling as a family, so reading or playing a card game was a strain in a poorly lit room.

The food, amenities, and location. I felt safe there. It was very clean and well kept. Staff was wonderful. Lots of on-site restaurants.

There was not a thing I disliked about this location. I was on the highest floor number 10, and the premises has elevators.

Wonderful gathering spaces in the center of the resort including seating areas, fire tables, grassy areas for kids to play, lawn games, restaurants, volleyball and bocce courts and more. Beautiful designed areas with lush landscaping throughout.

The room was very inviting, the beds were comfortable and the parking was not far from the room. We enjoyed the pool, the hot tub and workout facilities.

That we had to pay extra for parking the car.

All the amenities! Especially the pool! I loved being able to text my requests to the front desk! They got back to me right away and fulfilled all of my requests promptly!

The toilet in our room was very weak in terms of flushing capacity. We were always worried that it was going to stop up.  The neighbors next door could be heard clearly through the walls.

Enjoyed the pool, the music by the singer Celeste was awesome ( relaxing). Enjoyed the food & drinks. We very much enjoyed the aroma of the jasmine plants as we walked by, we will always remember that. Overall experience and ambiance was excellent!

Ice machine not working & finding a spot to park car to get checked in was a very unpleasant & bad experience.

Lots of fun things to do. Pool options, as the larger pool was full of little ones. My teenage son enjoyed the water slide and smaller pool behind the the regency tower.
