Our stay at Park Front Hotel in Osaka was a dream come true! The prime location right next to Universal Studios Japan made our visit incredibly convenient. The grandeur of the lobby left a lasting impression, and the staff’s exceptional helpfulness added to the overall positive experience. The buffet breakfast was a delightful highlight, offering a great start to our days. The assistance provided in securing express passes, even when they were sold out elsewhere, showcased the staff’s dedication to guest satisfaction. Choosing to stay in Universal City was a strategic move for our two-day USJ adventure. The proximity to restaurants, shopping, and supermarkets within walking distance added a layer of convenience and made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, a fantastic blend of comfort and accessibility!

While our experience at Park Front Hotel was largely positive, we did encounter a minor issue with our initial room, which had stains on the wall. The explanation provided was that it resulted from luggage standing against the wall. Although the staff promptly offered to change our room, it did hint at the need for some timely refurbishment of the rooms. Aside from this, there weren’t any major drawbacks to our stay, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the property.

Location was excellent in terms of Universal Studios. Was so nice to only have to walk a few hundred metres back to your room rather than battle crowds on a train after being on your feet for 7+ hours at Universal! The vibe at Universal City was fun with all the shops and restaurants too! Train station unbelievably close as well!

Beds were hard and springy. Decor is a little dated but not a deal breaker as the rooms were functional and clean. Extremely small gym for such a large hotel. Universal City is a bit out of the way from other tourist attractions in Osaka once you're done visiting the park, but having the train station so close made it fine to travel in and out.

Was great that The Park Front Hotel was located so close to Universal Studios Theme Park. Loved the fantastic views from our room at night and the shopping and so many fantastic restaurants, food bars and cafes within walking distance from the hotel.. Excellent Hotel and location. Would definitely stay again... Thank you to all the staff for making our stay a fabulous one..

The hotel is located right next to the entrance of Universal, making it so easy to get to the park nice and early. It is on Universal city walk, providing lots of opportunities to access shops and restaurants. There were also three Lawsons too, including a 24 hour one within the hotel. We decided to go for a luxury room and were on the top floor, it was so nice. The room was really large with very comfortable beds. There were so many options for breakfast, but it was really busy. One of the days we did get to eat on the terrace and it was so peaceful. The station nearby made it really easy to travel around Osaka.

The location for entry to Universal Studios can’t be beat. Buying tickets for the park couldn’t be easier. Everywhere I read online said that once you enter Universal Studios you can’t leave and get back in but staying at this hotel meant that we could, all we had to do was show our room key. That was a huge bonus for us with kids. When we arrived at the hotel I left my credit card in the taxi and the staff at check in were so helpful with getting it returned for me. I also left behind my kids toy in the room after checkout and housekeeping were amazing at finding it for me and delivered it to my next hotel in Osaka that same day - amazing service.

Prime location to universal studios, just within a 3 minute walk. Lovely staff and a good amount speak English. The rooms and bathrooms were decently sized as well.

Maybe a little too close to things. We were on floor 12 and from 6:50am every day the loud music started from Universal City Street and then later could hear screaming from rides. Don't expect to have a nap. Breakfast wasn't as Western friendly as the photos shown. I don't particularly like eating chicken nuggets and hotdogs for breakfast, especially while pregnant. I would suggest to sus it out first, heaps of other food places within walking distance.

Can’t beat the location in regards to Universal studios. Great views and spacious rooms. The bathrooms are great and staff were friendly and helpful. Super convenient having all the restaurants, coffee shops, shops, theme park and station within a minutes walk reach.

The beds are so hard! I got use to firm beds in Japan however the first bed I had (we did a split room booking) the springs were sticking in my back. I had to call housekeeping and get extra blankets to put under the sheet to help make it bearable. After I did that it was fine. Would have been nice to get free water bottles as well like most other Japanese hotels we stayed at. The rooms are clean but a little rundown and in need of a paint job and new beds.

Great location/proximity to the station. Staff was wonderful and responsive. We loved the room and that there were two chairs at the window. The lobby was impressive as were all the common areas. The bedding was very comfortable and the in room amenities covered all the bases. We chose this hotel over the others at USJ as it appeared to cater to a more upscale clientele as compared to others that were flashy and directed toward families with young children. We are in Japan many times per year for long trips, and one of the best touches is a hotel that has coin laundry available, and this one did. Would definitely recommend it.

The location is unbeatable—literally right across from the entrance to Universal Studios, making it the best option if you’re planning to spend time at the park. The hotel was very clean, well-equipped, and offered spacious rooms with extremely comfortable beds—perfect for relaxing after a fun-filled day. Breakfast was another highlight, with a wide variety of delicious options to suit all tastes. Overall, this hotel checks all the boxes for comfort, convenience, and quality. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting Universal Studios in Osaka!

I stayed for one night at this hotel while visiting Universal Studios Japan, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The location is fantastic, just steps from the park, and the shopping area, which made everything incredibly easy! The staff were warm, welcoming, and helpful from the moment I arrived until I left. My room was even better than I expected: spacious, spotless, and so comfortable. After a long, exciting day at the park, it was the perfect place to unwind and relax. Breakfast the next morning was lovely, with a great variety of options and everything tasting fresh and delicious. I especially enjoyed sitting out on the veranda, as you get a view of the park and its roller coaster, which made for a fun and unique way to start the day. I’d absolutely stay here again, and I’d happily recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
