The hotel is very nice, with quality public areas. The rooms are nice, but slightly less than the public areas. The restaurant was good with nice food & good service. Cleanliness throughout the hotel was good & the views from the 14th floor bar are quite extensive on a clear night.

I didn't have any drawers in my room, although my son had & when I queried this with reception they advised that it was to do with the size of the rooms booked & wouldn't supply any drawer units. This was inconvenient for a week long stay. The rooms were a good size & while they would have benefitted from an upgrade to fit in with the rest of the hotel, they were comfortable.

Great location if you do not want to be in the very busy part of the city center with lots of tourists, as this is a business area. We enjoy walking and it is about half an hour to the Castle, and half an hour the other way to the busy part of town (Dotonbori). Close to various trains/metro lines, which was practical as we did day trips out of the city in the surrounding hills/mountains. Lots of good restaurants around the hotel filled with locals. Family Mart right in front of the hotel, to buy food, water etc. Very nice hot baths in the last floor (outside, inside and a sauna), but quite busy as you do not need to be a hotel guest to have access. Still a highlight of this hotel. Great views from that floor on the city, especially at sunset. Comfortable beds, and rooms with everything you need in them. Flexible: they let us check-in early when we arrived as our room was ready. They spoke good English.

No water provided which would have been nice for a 4 star hotel.

It was very «high end», more so than we expected. Our room on the 8th floor was lovely and spacious, with 3 beds (we travelled with our 15 year old son) and a sofa, couch and table. There is a Tully’s Coffee in the lobby, and a Family Mart right in front of the hotel. The hotel is in between 2 Metro stations, and only a few blocks from Osaka Castle and Osaka Museum of History.

Beds were rather hard

We loved the location of this, right by a river which was nice to sit by in the evening. Also loads of great food places, not very touristy so felt like we were getting a real japanese experience staying here. I don't recall seeing any other western guests. About a 10 minute walk to Osaka Castle which was wonderful to do in the middle of the night whilst jetlagged with the kids, seeing it completely empty amazing. Also easy transport routes very close to USJ and Nara. We had a lovely swim in the pool, although will add its lane swimming so not a 'fun pool' for little kids but the kids still enjoyed it and very much enjoyed the jacuzzi. We loved staying here and were really sad to leave.

We had to book two separate rooms as a family of four (two children aged 5 &9) which was slightly annoying but they were next to each other so it didn't really make a massive difference, except that the rooms were quite small so having very large suitcases made it a bit cramped inside the rooms. However this really wasn't an issue and if we returned we would still book here again as the hotel was clean, bed comfy and the staff were lovely.

The staff is so kind, caring and warm! They helped us a lot with everything! The property itself is beautiful, there is a cafe downstairs and a great supermarket for everything you can think of. Very close to public transportation and metro, easy to navigate. The neighborhood itself is clean, modern and very safe. Love it love it love it! Best breakfast :) the gym is very very good, professional equipment and pool with jacuzzi, fun place to be at!! Thank you so much!!

The Onsen/hot bath and the free of charge massage chairs on the top floor are fabulous and a nice add to your stay.

The receptionist forgot to tell me that they locked up the hotel at 1am and this as a "city" hotel and on a weekend. There is no information about this in the information document you receive at check-in. I stayed out until 2am and had really stressful moments when the doors were closed. My room card was a bit bended and it could not get read. They could use a better card material. So, I walked twice to both hotel entrances for around 15 minutes in the middle of the night until the system was finally reading my room card. There is a bell button too, but only saw later.

I was surprised at the quality of this hotel. I am from the United States and for the price I paid, which was very low, I expected an average hotel experience. This hotel was on the upper side of the spectrum. It was extremely professional, high class, very beautiful to look at, very clean and quiet, and conveniently located. Upon leaving, the front desk staff even prepared a cab for me.

I have no complaints about this hotel. The location, price and staff were beyond my expectation. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Osaka.

The room was spacious and had a nice city view. The amenitites provided in the room were nice. The spa / public baths were very relaxing, clean and had a variety of options.

The bed was a little hard for my liking. Train stations were a little further away from the hotel than I had realised. Front desk staff were not very helpful with regard to storing of bags and access to a bathroom prior to leaving the city.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

It costs 2700 yen to use the gym every time. There's a gym 10 min walk away that charges 500yen.

The hotel ambience was very nice. As soon as one enters the foyer one can feel relaxed. It was raining a lot when we were there so it was always a nice feeling to walk on the beautiful covered walkway into the hotel and it's lobby area. We also had a nice, big enough room with a side view of the canal/river. So we were happy!

The breakfast could be a little more varied. It was the same for the 3 nights we were there. But overall it wasn't bad.
