The accommodation is very close to Ishiuchi Maruyama Ski Resort - it's a good place to stay if you plan to go skiing. There's a convenient shuttle bus service from the JR station back to the hotel in the evening. The staff can speak Chinese

It might be inconvenient to go to Echigo-Yuzawa Station for dinner after skiing. I would need to carry my ski equipment on the resort's shuttle bus to Echigo-Yuzawa, and after dinner, take the hotel's shuttle bus back to the hotel. However, if you're not carrying ski equipment, there's a convenient shuttle bus service from the JR station back to the hotel in the evening

We booked the family room and it’s spacious enough for me, my husband, 2 teens and toddler.

The room was freezing when we first got there and it took a while for the heater to warm up the room.

Everything was great. The location, the service, the room, the view. I am very happy and would 100% stay there again.

The only thing was the breakfast was too expensive for the little variety of options (¥2000 and no juice, no tea, no deserts, no fruits). It had a good taste but wasn't worth it.

The check-in was easy. The staff working at the hotel were very helpful whenever I had questions. I made several small requests via the app such as shuttle service to the station, all were answered promptly and I felt that they put in effort to help whenever they can.

Not enough heating. The insulation in the room was quite bad. I could feel cold wind seeping in through the gaps in the windows at night. They only had a single unit air conditioner for the two rooms. it was not strong enough to heat up both rooms. Though the blankets were warm, I found the air in the room too cold to breathe. There is no central heating in this hotel. The toilet is also cold.

We picked the Japanese-style room and it was beautiful! We loved the room and its helpful features, like lots of sliding door barriers to keep the room warm. The place was also close to a quiet and nice ski resort, the shuttles were very accessible and helpful. The staff were so friendly.

I think we found everything very nice, nothing we disliked.

We were able to find a very good price to stay overnight. We had a good sleep and were ready for the Spartan race the next day!

They have a free shuttle but we were too late to know about it, and to make a reservation. I wish the system allowed us to reserve even on the day. Planned check-in was 22:00 - 23:00, but we were not able to reserve when we checked the reservation site from 13:00~ onwards, but it was fine it was our miss. A little bit far from GALA Yuzawa Station (20+ mins), and Echigo Yuzawa Station (50+ mins) by walk. It would nice if shuttle bus company can do special service during big events.

Front hotel is stairs need carry luggage to first floor then will have lift. Every floor got microwave and water filter. Next building hot bath is very good, second floor got provide voucher to get the cheap price.

The lobby is cozy and warm with comfortable sofas. Staff are helpful and friendly. I especially like that they provide gear rental, which is very convenient that you can simply drop everything in the hotel without waiting the long queue in the snow resort. Onsen nearby is great also!

The room is spacious but without too many facilities. The table is too small for us to store things/ eat in the room.

Very affordable! There is no staff to assist but you just have to follow the instructions to get the key. The building exterior might not be that pleasant but the interior and facilities are good and clean. Best for those who want to save their budget. There is a free parking infront of the hotel. The toll gate is very close.

Breakfast is prompt and available, though the hotel isn't regularly staffed. Towel exchange and garbage services are decent. There is a really nice onsen just next door and the hotel gets a discount! WIN! If you don't want to go, there are nice sized baths downstairs and there is a bath in the room. The Chenda family are really helpful and gave us contact details to reach out for any issues.

Not having any staff on-hand is somewhat painful, but the owners make sure to provide a contact method and way to resolve issues. Bus schedule isn't available in lobby, so figuring out where/how we're moving takes going to find out.
