The location was very convenient to take the Hankyu and subway, visit attractions, restaurants,etc. The neighborhood was cute and just busy enough. Our room (#202) was very spacious and well-laid out; we had plenty of room for our luggage, and the separate toilet a plus. The bed was comfortable, and sound-proofing seemed to be added. We heard our neighbours a bit, but nothing out of the ordinary for a hotel or apartment. There were nice touches like a lamp, laundry detergent and tissues. Check-in and out was seamless and keys/door code worked properly. Strongly recommended!

Really great value. This is a self-contained apartment at a hostel price ! There's even a washing machine with free laundry soap to use. Also a functionable kitchen with a hotplate, microwave, and fridge. The facilities are clean. The staff are polite and friendly. It's in a convenient location. There's a remote-controlled dimmer switch for the very large main light. They even provided extra towels, toothbrushes, and toiletries. What more can you ask for at this price ? Great value !!

The washing machine and the washing powder was provided in this lovely space, I love it! The location and the conveniency of check in check out process was really nice. The staff was super friendly, their attention to detail was amazing, the room was so neat and spotless, and they prepared additional amenities upon last minute request and done it so perfectly. A massive thank you to the whole team for making my stay in Kyoto so memorable.

None, I love everything about it.

The location is great, near the subway, with lots of fashionable stores around, mini markets and restaurants. The bed was comfy and clean. The kitchen was small and although we didn't cook there, it was perfect for breakfast. The bathroom was small (specially for tall western people), but it was super clean and the shower hot and powerful. The amenities are great (slippers, great shampoo and conditioner, towels, tooth brush, etc) It also has a washing machine, but we didn't use it...

Everything was great!

The room has exceeded all expectations - simple yet spacious and everything you need. A little balcony was a surprise, I didn't go out but sat on the window drinking my coffee in the morning. I've only seen the personnel once when I checked in, and that was enough to experience their sweetness and welcomeness. The area is full of izakayas, bars, and coffee shops. It is very close to major attractions and the metro station.

Excellent location in central Kyoto. Room was slightly more expensive than other places in Japan but good value compared to alternatives in Kyoto. Excellent amenities with kitchen, washing machine and clean bathroom.

Room was clean but needed a bit of an upgrade. Staff was not always present at the reception desk. Although good location for Kyoto, quite far from the Kyoto station so would need to take the subway/walk a lot to access.

Great room, large and roomy with facilities even a washing machine. Good location. Handy to transport, shops, restaurants and attractions. Good value for money.

It was in a lovely location, the room felt large despite it being a typical Japan hotel room..plus it had a washing machine in the room. The staff was fabulous! Would stay there again

Communication was excellent, the staff was very friendly and accommodating, the place is compact as you would expect in Japan but very functional

The room got very cold at night and the two pillows provided were very small. They need bigger ones or more than one per guest
