The room is new and very clean, and fits well with a family of 5. Great location, within walking distance to Kyoto and Gojo stations. It has all the necessary amenities including a washing machine.

A bit pricey.

Property was well located, not far from the station and many bus stops. Also there was a konbini closed by which was convenient to buy food. The property is clean and well equipped, and the entrance feels very Japanese!

We had requested a baby bed in the Booking comment section, and we knew this was a paid option to pay at the property. However the staff claimed they had not received the request and they could provide a bed only for our second night. This was inconvenient and we had to build a bed in a corner with blankets and cushions. Ultimately it worked well and we saved money from the baby bed option, but it was hard to communicate in English with the staff and be told we had not asked for it :(

It was great to have an apartment-type accommodation in Kyoto. My family and I stayed for several day and we switched from eating out to buying food to make in the room. The facility was clean and it was located in a safe and nice area that is about 15 minutes walk from Kyoto Station or a quick bus ride from the main train station. We were able to take several day trips to Osaka, Uji and Nara—making this place out home base.

I think the check in process could be a little smoother. I didn’t feel comfortable sending my family’s passport photos ahead of time, so we opted to give our passports at check in. This process was pretty long for us because we had 10 family members and booked two rooms. If you have a smaller family and only booked one room, it would likely be faster. However, after a day of travel from Tokyo, the last thing we wanted to do was have a prolonged check in process in the evening.

Great little hotel! Good locational, close to Kyoto Station a several lovely restaurants - try the ramen on the corner! Our room was nice a big for the 5 of us. The washing machine and drying room was extremely handy. The kitchenette was well appointed. Met by a lovely young male staff member at check in that took his time explaining how everything worked. Luggage storage area available for before and after which is handy.

I wasn’t aware when we made the booking that it was a fully self sufficient apartment when we booked. We were there for 5 nights so it might’ve been nice to get a towel and sheet change at the half way point, but that’s only a minor thing.

Walking distance from Kyoto station. Includes basic amenities- washing machine (without dryer), a separate dryer in the bathroom (hang clothes on the bar and the dryer warms the bathroom) and kitchenette. Helpful staff.

Triple room is a tight squeeze for 3 people. Very little space to open a suitcase. Very small table that does not accommodate 3 people. If you plan to arrive earlier to drop the bags, go for lunch and come back at 3pm to check-in, that may not work out as the reception is only manned from 2 pm and you will not be able to enter the premises without the door access code.

great location. Nice and quiet. The room was nice, comfortable, and modern. Staff were great. Beds were comfortable. Only one pillow for each person, but I asked for extra which the hotel promptly provided. It was cold when we were in Kyoto, but the heat mode on the A/C unit was good. Completely step-free access which was important as i was with my elderly parents.

I wished it was just a little bit bigger. If it was just 1 metre wider and longer it wouldn't have felt cramped, but that said, it wasn't so cramped that i didn't enjoy my stay.

The location was excellent, just ten minutes walk from Kyoto Station, with lots of convenience stores and restaurants around but, still quiet during night. The appartment had enough room for us five (with a temporary bed) and our suitcases, even if we had to sacrifice some seating space. The bathroom/shower and lavatory were also big enough The appartment had everything we needed in terms of appliances and commodities. We appreciated especially having the washing machine, as we stayed for several days. We also had the opportunity to leave our luggage safely in the store room the day we checked out and to pick it up laterr during the day.

The appartment was more suited for four than for five but still confortable enough for us five. The reception didn't work 24h but only for about 10h but it was possible to call a service center any time and to get in and out by ourselves without any issue.

The main advantage of the hotel is the young gentelman at the reception desk, that speaks good English and is very friendly - it was the first person in Japan that I could ask some of the questions that I had about japanese every day life. The hotel overall met my needs, however it looks bigger and more funky on photos than it is in reality. The room was equipped with ironing set and some cookware, that we used.

The room for 4 guests is too small to comfortably fit four people with large suitcases and backpacks - there is no place to store them, so our room instantly became stacked.

I like that within branches of Resi Stay, this one had front desks available daily from 3-10pm and luggage storage available in the hotel. Staffs were friendly, helpful and responsive. Even though there was no one at the front desk, they were actually just a phone call away. The room was spacious for a family of five with two rooms and the sofa can open up to become a bed. It was also cute, neat and clean. Lots of amenities available and the best was definitely the washing machine and we used the drying mode in the bathroom to dry the clothes. There were also refrigerator and oven which was convenient for breakfast/supper. There were instructions and also rules printed out in a book in every room, so please read carefully.

Location was a bit far from Kyoto station, about 1km which took 10-15mins walk, manageable but tiring. It was located at a residential area, quiet but not many restaurants around.

The accommodations here suited us well. Like most places in Japan, the rooms are smaller, but it had everything we needed. We especially appreciated having a washing machine in our room. There was also a unique bathroom clothes drying heating/fan function that allowed you to hang your clothes to dry in the shower area of your bathroom. This was all very helpful as we visited in the summer and needed to wash our clothes more often. While it was a 15 minute walk from Kyoto Station, there were some restaurants and cafes nearby. We enjoyed our stay and how affordable it was.
