My stay at Log Cottage was magical. I was made me feel as if I was part of the family during my stay. The cottage new and is fully equipped. The best part was the wonderful sauna ( great after a day on the slopes ). Every evening the family delivered a snack/meal made from local produce. I didn’t have a car however the owners took the time to drop me at the slopes each day. On my last night, they invited me to the Onsen. We had a wonderful evening If you want that home feeling whilst being away on holiday then this is the perfect place. You are embraced as one of the family and they will support you and ensure you have a wonderful trip I will be heading back for sure

The Log Cottage Kiitos far exceeded our expectations. The facilities are warm, inviting and extremely well maintained, with your own private outlook. Our hosts were so welcoming. Our boys ended up tobogganing everyday with the owners family after we returned from skiing and our lovely hosts provided a plate of homemade local delicacies every afternoon. The private sauna in our cabin was so good after each day on the mountain and the drying room made sure our ski gear was ready for the next day. Only a 4 minute drive to Happo One and walking distance to multiple restaurants. We don’t normally go out of our way to write a big review but Log Cottage Kiitos made our first time in Hakuba perfect. Very highly recommended.

We had a fantastic stay! Rumiko and her family were so kind and helpful, making us feel very welcome. The cottage was beautiful, warm, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed. We especially loved the sauna. It was a lovely, peaceful place to relax after a day of skiing, and we really appreciated all the thoughtful touches including the delicious snacks in the afternoon. One evening we had a full home cooked meal at the cottage which was so delicious. I would definitely recommend staying here!

The cabin was very comfortable and clean. It was well thought out architecturally. The hosts were incredibly kind and accommodating. We had a toddler and they made the cabin safe and fun for her. We can’t recommend Kiitos enough! Thank you Rumi and Shino and your wonderful family for going above and beyond to accommodate us!

Loved how cozy the cabin was. It was thoughtfully stocked with essentials. The owners were so kind and accommodating. They offered to give us rides and prepared homemade snacks every afternoon after long days skiing. It was a truly lovely stay.

Very cozy and clean cottages. The host takes good care of the cottages and it is clear that they had given a lot of thought into making the cottage feel like home and comfortable for the guests. Very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Kitchen is well equipped so we were able to cook meals daily for a family of 3. Wonderful host. Very friendly and helpful.

Everything was done exceptionally. The service was phenomenal, they were very accommodating and friendly. The owners took the time to ensure we were comfortable and enjoyed our time. The actual log cottage was beautifully built, and every little detail has been meticulously thought out. This place is MUST when visiting Japan

The cabins are perfect for a skiing holiday - lovely and clean with everything you need. The owners were exceptionally hospitable. More than once we took advantage of the in-room dining and the food was delicious.

We liked everything.

The hosts were phenomenal, they have snow e-bikes available for guests use at all times as well as sleds and a climbing wall for the kids to play on.

The owners are very lovely, and the cottage is well equipped. There is also a climbing wall free of charge that our kids climb with the assistance of the owner.

The cottage is very small. The price is quite high compared to other bigger houses you can find in Hakuba.
