Loved our stay at Tomarie!!!! We picked this hotel because we want to have one room for all 6 of us plus it has parking! The room fits the 6 of us comfortably. As for the luggages, you need to store them away when not using since there is not much space to fully open luggages at the same time. Make sure to do the pre-check in so that it is easier to check in on the day of your stay. Chat support is also very responsive. 7/11 is just a few steps away from the hotel. Something to work on- Perhaps the only thing I would suggest is to provide kitchen towels so that it will be easier to clean the kitchen area. We only found facial tissues which is not ideal for cleaning countertops.

Very well-maintained, clean property. Spacious enough for 2 adults + 2 kids. Good facilities - well-equipped kitchen, dining table is a huge plus! washing machine, free WiFi. The location is not superb, but not terrible, reasonably close to Hakata Station, can also get to Canal City & Yatai Stall by feet if you can manage slightly longer walks (around 30 minutes) Car-park available (on a first come first served basis)

Check-in on the ipad is somewhat cumbersome. It's not so close to shops and food places. The cleaning staff appeared a bit rude.

Great location with free parking for my rental car. It is also within walking distance to Hakata station. 7-11 convenient store just opposite and a petrol station further down. Oh, there is a lift inside. Stay is fully self service. From registering to checking out. Will need a working internet to preregister and receive instructions via email. But that also means after check-in time, hotel is accessible always. Room is spacious. Two queen beds in room with charging ports at bedhead, and another queen bed in the living room, a perfect fit for my family of 5. There is a vent in the room that allows air exchange without the need of switching on the aircon in autumn. The bath area comes with a bath tub and shower area. Bath room even has some controls like drying air, warm air, etc. Amazing. There is a washer dryer if one needs to use it, electric kettle, stove and some cookware too.

The room divider doors is somewhat damaged. There is just one bin in the kitchen even though the file mentioned trash sorting. One of the toilet roll is probably destroyed by an earlier guest, and the cleaning team failed to pick it up.

Newer unmanned hotel with self check in. About 10 minutes walk from Hakata train station and easy enough to find. Away from the action however there is a 7 eleven nearby. Easy to do the remote check in on the tablet with the instructions from the hotel but remember to write down or photograph the room door key code. Remember to also carry the code for the lobby door. We witnessed several guests struggling to get back in to the hotel during our stay. Judging some of the reviews this is a common problem although we never had an issue with it. Good size room for a family of 3. Basic kitchen with cooking utensils and large fridge. Not really anywhere to eat around the hotel but it is a good base to return to. Plenty of eating options at the station or in the city centre.

It was a little difficult to open the room door the first time. The lock is situated very low on the door and the card reader is not in service. The exhaust fans inside our room had been left on and the suction on the door took some force to overcome. There is a note regarding this inside the door. Some noise from the freeway behind the hotel but it was not too obtrusive for us

The apartment were good for two people. Might be a bit cramped for 3-4 adults. Close two two grocery stores. 15min walk from Hakata station. The staff responded very quickly and were helpful and good at English.

The checkin were a bit complicated. The cleaning of the apartment were not very thorough. We stayed for four weeks and it didn't have enough hangers for a longer stay, so we had to buy a lot of them. It was a bit wasteful to have to throw them away. Would be nice if the apartment could provide more hangers on demand.

The unit with spacious area which allow more than 4 guests to stay. It has a bath tub in the bathroom which we enjoy the time with my baby. The location was not the best but it was a walkable distance from the Hakata station. It is a good place for couple and adults group as we had to carry our baby and with lots of shopping, so it was not a pleasant walk. :P Even though I read some of the review saying there was noise during their stay, we had no problem with that. Cooking facilities and washing machine was great for us to cook for baby and doing washing as well.

The cleanliness of the unit could be improved hugely which will benefit to the guests and the business. ( I could have gave them 9.5/10 if there cleanliness improved. ) I was using the washing machine but there was a lot of residue in it. The bath tub really need a deep clean for all the gap as there were a lot of mold. Hiding area (corner) were really dusty. I don't think it was coming from outside, it should be just accumulate by the time. So a regular clean would be good enough. There were no cloth/ kitchen towel/tea towel for kitchen, which I can not dry the washed dishes but had to leave the dishes to dry on the sink. (Have asked host about it and they were okay with it).

- more spacious compare to hotel room - 1 min to convenient store - with the use of thermal ventilation facility, the bathroom can be used as a drying cabin for laundry. Laundry can be totally dry overnight. Don’t need to use the drying function of the washer. - Check in / out is easy

- bed is too soft and the pillows are too high n hard - kind of noisy even with the windows closed - it’s a whole 10 min walk to Hakata Station east exit. Not convenient to walk back and forth for dining / shopping - toilet is too small, definitely not for claustrophobic

Details to gain access were clearly provided and easily understood. Easy access to buses that go direct to the domestic airport and/or to switch to the shuttle for the international airport. Room was quiet and beds were very comfortable.

Not as close to Hakata station as we originally thought when we first arrived and walked to the hotel with our luggages. Once we got familiarised with Fukuoka city and also started to use the buses to get around instead of just the trains, it was much better.

Accommodation was clean, spacious for our family, had good amenities for laundry, check in was easy to follow as unmanned, and had automatic lights for use of toilet and corridor so ideal. Quiet location. 20 minute walk to Hakata station and convenient. Booking.com helped add an extra guest for a fee.

The check out computer didn’t work however we were able to communicate with booking.com to advise our check out.

very clean and comfortable, also pretty spacious for japanese standard. had a small stove and fridge and everything, we were able to cook some food bought from the supermarket which is really nice!

it took about 15 minutes walk to the nearby underground station, which is a little far since we went back and forth from there everyday. the washing machine was also not working that well, couldn’t figure out how to dry our clothes with it.
