all rooms we stayed in are very spacious and clean. exceptional breakfast at thier Bistro La Atori, a variety of local japanese dishes and also continental options. the coffee shop at the ground floor, Kamakiri Coffee, is a plus with their fine cuppa and artisinal bread. location is a minute away from watanabe-dori juction, less than 5 minutes from tenjin shopping district.

Great location for its price! The hotel is close to the subway's Watanabe-dori Station as well as buses heading to Tenjin, Sumiyoshi, and Hakata Station. Within a short walking distance is Sunny (24 hours grocery), Sun Road, Yanagibashi Rengo Ichiba, FamilyMart, Lawson, and tax-free drugstores like Ohga Pharmacy. An Anytime Fitness branch is also nearby. From the airport, take the subway to Hakata Station, transfer to Nanakuma Line for Watanabe-dori, take Exit 1, then it's less than 3 minutes walk to the hotel. If you have heavy luggage going home, I recommend taking a taxi to the airport from the hotel. It's less than 5km and about JPY2,000 to the international terminal. For the room, I was very happy with the cool air conditioning as well as the water heating in the bathroom. Enough space for a solo traveler with large luggage open on the floor. Housekeeping and staff are very helpful. Coin laundry was easy to do because of the multilingual signs. If you need coins, just exchange your bills at the lobby. My room is in the older annex building. If you have the budget for the rooms at the newer main building, I recommend it as it looks beautiful!

I loved the environment. The breakfast was over the top. The staff were so kind and helpful. I think the lobby was a very comfortable place to hangout. The coffee shop adjacent to the lobby and had wonderful coffees and beverages. The desserts were delicious. The location was central. I found a few awesome and a variety of places to eat. Pizza, (2 places), Italian, Yakitori. Yakiniku, ramen, and a small craft Sake brewery with tasting and tasty dishes made by the bartender. Across the street was a beauty of a 24 hour grocery store.I would definitely stay there again.

Easy Check in and Check out procedure. The room is bigger compared to the other hotels that we have stayed in Japan. The bed is comfortable, working AC and the toilet is also superb. They change the bed and towels, and cleans the room daily. The location is easy to find, and there is nearby 24hrs supermarket(Sunny) where we bought fruits, food and drinks. The staff also are all accommodating and nice. They also offer Cargo Pass (a service wherein you can leave your luggage at the hotel and have it pick up directly at the airport) which makes our travel to the airport easier. It is also in a nearby train station, and bus stops. Overall, we had a great stay!

This us second live this hotel .This hotel is very good. The location is very good, very close to the two subway stations, and there are many restaurants around it. Not far away is the Tianshen Business District, which is very convenient for shopping and eating. The hotel room is very spacious and clean. The bedding, especially the pillows, are so good for sleeping. This pillow is very comfortable and makes me sleep soundly. The staff have a good service attitude and also store luggage. Although there are not many varieties of breakfast, more than ten are rich enough and very delicious.

Very nice lobby, immediate at ease stepping into the hotel. Lift to every floor. Room size is big for twin bed arrangement. Bed size is also good. Super single size. Compact toilet as of most Japan hotels. Coin Washing machines are available at 8th floor. Dryer machines are available too. There is ice machine and water dispenser machine too. Bottled Drinking water is provided and replenished daily. Walking distance from Watanabe-dori subway station (closest station). It’s also walking distance from Daimyo area. Lots of cute eateries around. Drinking places are plenty too.

There’s a weird smell air with heavy humidity when I turn the AC to warming up room mode.

great location, 40 minutes walk to Sumo, good food from the Yatai stalls or local restaurants on the door step or just 20-25 walk into Tenjin…brilliant. basic amenities but comfortable enough for 2-3 night stay. Helpful front desk. Good option for Sumo, and a great price. Check out the power boat races if they are being held when you’re there too.

parking arrangements are irrational. There IS an affiliated parking lot which is safe and close by BUT you only get 22 hours discounted parking so you have to get a ticket from reception for 1000 Yen every day but within 22 hours of when you pulled in to the parking lot last. Then go and exit and re-enter the same parking lot if you are staying more than one night. We managed to do this ok without too much disruption to our visit and it does represent a big saving on parking overall, which would have been 2500 for each 22 hour period, buuuuut why not just do a rate for 24 hours? it did not make sense and with a language barrier there was no way I was going to get an answer to that question.

For the money I paid (about £50 at the time of writing) this hotel was very good value. The room is quite small, but it was clean (bar a very small amount of mould on the curtain), the bathroom was nice and a good breakfast was included in the price. For a night or two I think it is definitely worth staying here if you are looking for a more budget option.

Even though I chose a non smoking room, it smelt a little bit like cigarette smoke when I entered the room. Fortunately the window opened fully (admittedly I'm not sure how that's allowed in a multi storey building, if you have children be very careful) so I could let fresh air in and after I did that for a couple of hours I didn't notice the smell anymore. My other main complaint is that the pillow was not good, but that's unfortunately pretty common in a lot of Japanese hotels.
