Great location, next to the clock tower, fantastic hot and powerful shower and very friendly & helpful staff.

It's right next to a reataurant/club - i had a room ovelooking the street so my window opened up onto the street where these tables were. I like the fresh air in the evening, but I didn't want to open the windows because of people smoking at the restaurant downstairs and the smoke came into my room (I'm a non smoker) Also with the bar below - it was blasting out music until late - 70s disco - so not such a bad genre... but if you want to sleep anytime before about 1am it's so noisy with the music and people chatting in the street.

I have stayed at the Maccotta before and was generally pleased with the location rooms and value for money. in those respects it was exactly what I expected, so therefore pleased.

In my room the shower, although a sophisticated item did not perform that well, the best function for me involved water being squirted straight at the screen which then leaked externally. Drain could not cope with the amount of water either and had to have short showers to avoid floods.

Amazing location - very easy to get to from the airport (there’s a bus to the city centre). Close to the beach, ferries, restaurants… Staff are all very friendly and lovely.

Showers (specifically the shower head) are a bit old and can be changed as the water pressure is all over the place.

I got a nice big room even though I was by myself. Small balcony just enough to enjoy bit of fresh air. Big bathroom with enough space for 2 people. There is a elevator so you don't have to take the stairs. You can buy breakfast very cheap in the hotel. Right next to the hotel you can buy coffee, tea, sandwich or some drinks or was excellent right next to the port and bus to the airport. Very nice staff happy to be help and give recommendations. They will arrange taxi for you if you ask

Balcony was tiny and with no views you can see just the next building. Also shower in the bathroom could use a shelf especially because it's very small and if you are not slim might be bit uncomfortable but not a big issue. Not a lot of choices of food on breakfast but for the price it's just enough especially if you eat in the restaurant in the city later. Also bit of walk to the nice beach but it is to be expected so close to the port.

The hotel is in the centre and everything is in a walking distance. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is a good size and bed very comfortable. There is also a lift in the hotel.

Location couldn't be more perfect! Very comfortable, staff was super helpful, and they even arranged an early check-in for us.

If I could change one thing, it would be requesting a room that faces the inside of the building and not the street. There is a lot of noise of people chatting and laughing and since I am a light sleeper it woke me up a few times!

More basic but very practical poperty with everything you need, close to harbour and old city, nonstop reception, kind staff.

The location of this hotel was superb I had a balcony room overlooking the piazza with use of the churches it was absolutely amazing and the breakfast was incredible for €4 the lady on reception went above and beyond and was very helpful and always had a smiley face.

A few more toiletries in the bathroom would be a good idea.
