A very comfortable room. Access to a well stocked kitchen. Our hosts provided tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits. We were able to cook our own meals if we wanted. The bed linen and towels were changed frequently. The hosts were friendly and communicated well. The best thing was the video the host sent to show exactly where the apartment is. The Old Town location is lovely but very confusing when you've only just arrived, so our instructions about where to get the taxi to and how to find the building from there were invaluable.

The water pressure in the shower is a bit weak, and the hot water takes a long time to come through.

Proximity is amazing, it had enough beds for our family of 4, the hosts were very nice and quick to respond. Parking was close!!

The property grew on us over the 3 nights we stayed, but first impressions of the area were a bit of a surprise as the surrounding streets are dirty with lots of graffiti. You didn’t know if it was safe or not at first, but by the end of the trip it became charming and it felt very safe!

Staying here in the ancient centre of Salerno was a good choice. It was easy to get around this small city and the walk to the ferries for the Amalfi Coast was not as far as expected. There is excellent secure parking available just 5 mins walk from the apartment.

There are three doors to unlock with different keys or codes. This was very good from a security point of view but it was a little trying when arriving home at the end of a busy day.

Enrica was a source of great info and always timely in her responses. She even helped us prepare for our early morning departure. The suite was lovely and the shared kitchen was an added bonus. We made espressos mid-day and warmed up dreamy leftovers from the nights before, stored our gelati in the freezer. Breakfast at Bar Umberto was perfectly delicious and Salerno-esque. We loved living in il Centro Storico and hope to return.

Breakfast facilities are available, you supply the food. A couple of close markets, very cheap. Charming old town square nearby, as well as entertainment/shopping. Stay in the lit areas of town

Great location near shops and restaurants, but tucked out of the way enough not to be noisy. Perfect facilities for a semi self catering - light meals including access to a fridge, hob & coffee machine.

Could have done with a small table & chairs in the room.

It was in the perfect location and central to all we needed while in Salerno. Being able to go to the cafe outside of the property for breakfast every morning before starting our day was the greatest start to the day. The room was comfortable, air conditioned, fully equipped with everything we needed and we never struggled to get in touch with the host who was able to answer every question we had. An excellent stay and I would absolutely stay at this property again.

I have no complaints about the stay or the property. All was exactly as expected.

Location and value were great. Lots of restaurants nearby. It’s about a mile from train station and main ferry port. We walked it several times. Hosts communicated very well before and through our stay. The rooms were nice and clean.

Clean, comfortable and great location. Enrica was very helpful and checked on us often. She offered tips on what to do and see with a list of taxi drivers and ferry time table. Breakfast at Bar Umberto was typical Italian which we loved. I highly recommend.

very modern, clean and quiet, yet very central. The owner Enrica was very helpful. We never met, it was all done via WhatsApp. We arrived early, but was given full access to our room. Breakfast is at a nearby bar, although there is a full kitchen in the property.

I would have liked some instructions as to how to use the coffee maker. The hob was of a type I know, but again instructions would have been helpful, but these are minor issues. If u arrive by taxi, ask them to drop you off at bar Umberto, an easy 30 second walk to the property.
