The staff were very friendly and helpful! The location was amazing, close to everything and in the middle of the centre. The room was clean and it was cleaned every day with the towels changed.

The TV in our room wasn’t working initially, but we called the girl on the reception and she immediately came up to the room to sort it out. It took some minutes but the fact that she was kind and helpful was positive. The bed was a little uncomfortable and the room was a little bit small, not making it easy to move, i understand that was the room booked based on the booking but in relation to what the price is considering is a 4 star hotel a slightly bigger room would be nice. Based on the prices in positano though it made sense.

The location is fantastic! 2 minutes walk to the beach, next to a beautiful church, all shops are close by, so are restaurants, bakeries and grocery stores. We did many day trips and while cars can’t come up to the location , pick up and drops are 5 minutes away. We are a family of 3 and stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment which came with a kitchenette and 3 bathrooms (rare to find) and a fabulous view from the balcony. The accommodation was super comfortable and clean. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Loved every minute of it!

This is a beautiful hotel with an excellent staff. Location is perfect, in my opinion, because you can walk up the hill into Positano in the morning and then walk back down when you are finished doing what you are doing. For me, I would not want to have to walk up the hill after a long day. Oh, and the view from our balcony was fantastic. We loved looking at the sea in the morning with our coffee and also, the church piazza just below. 5 Stars plus

Beautiful property! The room was lovely, spotlessly clean, comfortable and well appointed with beautiful views. The staff were amazing - so helpful in planning activities and providing suggestions before and during our trip. The location is perfect, very close to the beach, shops and restaurants. You are close to everything, but still in a quiet and peaceful setting. I would highly recommend this property.

The staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful. I had multiple questions about booking taxis, porters, busses, restaurants, and hiking the path of the gods, and the staff not only answered applicable questions, but facilitated the bookings and reservations as well. The hotel was also conveniently located, clean, and a good value. If you are planning on staying in the center city of Positano, I'd recommend this hotel.

We had the pleasure of staying at Villa Flavio Gioia for 4 nights of our trip during our honeymoon. The location is perfect as it is central to all of the beaches, restaurants and shops. Prepare to do a lot of walking up stairs during your trip regardless of where you are lodging but we found this location to provide us access to many restaurants without having to hike. The staff here were beyond hospitable. Super friendly and accommodating, always there to answer a question, provide recommendations or even book porter service for us to help transport our luggage to the ferry. The room we stayed in was very clean, beautiful and comfortable. We were provided a complimentary bottle of white wine for our special occasion as well. The view was spectacular and our balcony was perfect for having our morning espresso while viewing the beautiful ocean. Over all we were very pleased with our stay and would definitely come again in future travel!

Wonderful staff. Beautiful location and great room. 3 of us stayed in the same room and it was very comfortable.

Its a long way up yo get from where the taxi drops you off specually if you have large bags like we had. We had a miscommunication with Villa on timing to send folks down to help us. Not anyones fault, just needed to k ow a lot more than we did about the time it takes to travel there and staff avialability.

Everything about Villa Flavio Gioia was fantastic, from our greeting by Cristiana on reception to our beautiful room with the best view of the sea and the church square. The location was perfect for us being so close to the port and the daily boats to the beach clubs. Everything was so clean and comfortable. We will definitely return to Villa Flavio Gioia!

Amazing location, big beautiful room and 2 balconies looking out to the sea. Gorgeous, large private courtyard which gave us a place to hang outside of our room. Stay here, you won’t regret it!

Since it’s in such a great location toward the bottom of the town, there is outside noise that can be heard by the people passing by.

The location was perfect and the staff were incredibly friendly. They were helpful in helping arrange transport and organise activities. I want to especially thank Lucia and Cristiana for their hospitality. They went over and beyond and made the stay even more memorable. Would recommend staying here for the amazing views, location and friendly staff.
