The location and the view was outstanding. Every where you looked it was as if it came from a magazine. It was Tuscany! The food was too good and the staff was so accommodating. Matthew was a joy, a very hard-working manager who knew how to please. All the employees were marvellous. An experience my husband and I will never forget.
The dining chairs were too low, yet we were able to add a few pillows to lift ourselves up. I suggest you add very thick seat cushions! Also, the outdoor chairs on the lawn were uncomfortable as the area was uneven and made it a bit hard to sit. Suggest a flatter sitting area and more comfortable outdoor chairs. Otherwise, it was a million dollar view!

Evening meals start too late fir my US clients & dessert is not served until 10:15-10:30pm Also a 25 Euro cork fee was told to my client AFTER his bottle was opened, while the night before at Osteria Aquacheta in Montepulciano a 1.5 Euro cork fe was charged.

We stayed 2 nights and had 1 dinner here, and now I think we should have stayed more nights here and had dinner for all nights during our stay. All the staff were super kind and professional, the food was really fresh. And it has breathtaking view of Tuscany field where you can enjoy from the front yard. What we agreed unanimously was that among all the dinners we have had during our 3 week vacation from Swotzerland to Italy, dinner here was the best in terms of beautiful sun set over the golden field, lively chattet with other friendly guests, entertaining and soothing music from the speaker, and delicious food made from fresh material. I miss there already.
When you have dinner in the yard, you'd better wear long trousers to protect your legs from the mosquitos. As South Koreans, we couldn't have long vacation and also had to fly long distance to Italy, so we tended to stay short nights in 1 place and move on. But this place deserves to stay longer nights to refreh you soul and body completely.

Where to begin!? Three nights at Podere Spedalone is nowhere near enough! We are already planning our return! The entire staff - and the owners - should be commended for the great amount of care that they put into making a stay at Podere Spedalone the most enjoyable experience. The meals (and aperitivo!) were incredible and a heck of a lot of fun, the winery visits that they helped us arrange were top-notch, and the accommodations and grounds were just stunning and impeccable. If you are looking for a beautiful place to eat well, sleep like a baby, and make new friends, this is definitely the place for you!

The property is stunning, you can sit out and enjoy the day and watch the sunset over the hills or explore the local area. The dinners are incredible the chef, Ivan Tallarini, does a superb job combining of the local produce into mouth watering meals. We did not have a bad or so-so meal during our entire visit. The first plate often complements the second plate. We had the steak Florentine and it was delicious and perfectly cooked. We had a minor glitch in our reservation and Matteo worked hard to fix the issue (which he did) and we appreciated the efforts. All of the staff are very welcoming and friendly.
The metal chairs could use a bit more cushioning, but you could always snatch a few extras.

We loved this property and everything about it. We had purposely booked this for 4 days at the last leg of our Italy trip, to relax and enjoy the beautiful Tuscany countryside. The property is only about 10-15 mins away from Pienza. Set in a breathtaking environment, it’s the perfect place to relax, enjoy some good food, and the Tuscany ambiance. We stayed in a room that had two bathrooms, two king beds, along with a couch bed, and with the back door opening to their beautiful backyard and scenery. The staff are amazing, friendly, helpful, and so invested in this place and treating their guests with the best of everything (Giampiero, Matteo, Guissepe, Rodi, and Aurora were amazing during our stay). We booked breakfast with our room. And in addition we booked dinner and lunch one day. Their dinner starts with aperitif outside with the sunset and communal dinners with all guests getting together. We got to meet other guests and hang out. It was really an amazing time. The food is phenomenal. The chefs work very hard. We would definitely return and stay longer than 4 days because this is probably one of the most beautiful properties I’ve ever seen and stayed at.

Oh my goodness! I think we stayed in the most scenic farmstead in the Val D'Orcia! We stayed here for three evenings and every night we were awestruck by the the amazing, beautiful sunsets! Every one of the staff was delightful and so fun. Even the dogs, cats, chickens and sheep were inviting. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and cute. The breakfasts were delicious and we had many options to choose from. The evening meal began with complementary Prosecco and a big delicious spread of appetizers. The evening meal was a bit disappointing but we were surrounded by so many delightful guests from around the world it made up for the at best average dinner. We would definitely stay here again.

Stunning location, surrounded by nature, with beautiful views of the hills and a charming olive garden Spectacular drive to the property—perfect if you're exploring by car Great atmosphere for aperitifs in the garden, especially at sunset Very good access to nearby towns like Pienza and Montepulciano Peaceful and relaxing environment, ideal for a getaway Staff were friendly and helpful Overall good value for money
A car is necessary to access the property Dinner was okay but not particularly memorable One evening was overcrowded, and the seating felt a bit cramped Breakfast buffet was poorly stocked one morning and took 15–20 minutes to be refilled A bit understaffed at times, which impacted organization during busy periods The property hosts external guests for wine tastings, which can lead to limited parking availability and increased noise Shared spaces may feel less relaxing when large visiting groups are present—separate scheduling would help improve the experience for staying guests

The location is wonderful, a charming and rustic building with beautifully decorated rooms. The food was lovely and really enjoyed the communal dining. Breakfast was stunning. Felt very at home here even though there were challenges with translation. It felt more authentic as a venue than somewhere where everyone spoke English and Google translate helped in the few occasions we needed it. We spent a lovely few hours with Giuseppe discussing our shared love of proper music. The animals on site were a lovely addition making it feel like a home away from home.
Some of the wait staff seemed a little inexperienced. Otherwise we cannot fault it.

We travelled there with friends to celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary. Neither of us had ever stayed at a farm/agriturismo place before and this place was incredible! It is an old stone monastery and amazing is so many ways....extremely friendly staff, beautiful rooms, great views of the vineyards/farm/hills, and wonderful dinners. We took a cooking class that was great fun. Roti the chef was so helpful and funny. We had an opportunity to watch them harvest the olive trees, then took a walk around the property and saw their pet goats and chickens. Before dinner, there is always an appertivo hour where everyone congregates before dinner. You chat with everyone, have some champagne and delicious fresh bites. Dinner immediately follows and everyone sits at long farm style tables. The whole vibe is comforting and friendly. We met great people from all over the world! We all said we go back in a heartbeat. It was perfectly located between Montalcino and Montepulciano, and Pienza.
