The Quattro Gigli Palace is a hidden gem of a hotel. From the location in the Tuscan Hills to the staff Guilia especially who went the extra mile to ensure my stay was "Golden"....l had a superior double room with balcony overlooking the Tuscan Hills. So peaceful and beautiful. Breakfast was delicious and the view from the breakfast terrace set the tone of the day. Dining in the Twinkly Cellar Restaurant with great food and Tiramasu which was the real Italian deal was sublime. Relaxing on the blue sofa in the evening with a glass of wine "heaven"...l was on an Ancestry Pilgrimage research of my Italian family and achieved so much more. This charming quirky gem in Montopoli is simply lovely. Special place...special people...the new owner and her staff are connoisseurs of "how to get it right "...thankyou for my "Golden Days"...thankyou Guilia for help in my Italian family research thankyou All keep doing what you do best. God Willing I'll be back 🙏 from Fiona an Italian/Scot who lived "her dream" only one word to you all in Quattro Gigli Palace "Amore " ❤️
There is absolutely nothing not to LOVE at Quattro Gigli Palace

The hotel is very friendly, and cosy, cleaned each day, and a beautiful, old building, I really, really enjoyed my cosy room and the view from the shared space, and I would be back.
if you're looking for a swimming pool, it's not the perfect place, the swimming pool space is neither cared for nor arranged, and I wouldn't recommend using it. I hoped for the swimming pool that's why it was important for me and I felt a bit disappointed, because with the nice swimming pool that would be 10/10, but if you want, there is a beach 34 minutes away by car.

Beautifully stylized historic property in a quiet Tuscan village. Refreshing small pool. Convenient free parking about a 2 minute walk away in a village lot, with ample vacant spots. Sounds of geese, roosters, dogs and horses in the morning were music to our ears. A serene paradise to escape the urban hassle. Shower equipment is a bit worn and needs attention. But the BEST part was, without a doubt, the restaurant downstairs! Absolutely delicious Tuscan cuisine with serene ambiance, a phenomenal countryside view, and patient and knowledgeable staff! Thank you, Quattro Gigli!

I had an absolutely delightful stay at this hotel! The surroundings were breathtakingly beautiful, and the hotel itself was immaculately clean. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure I felt welcomed and comfortable throughout my stay. The food was delicious and made my dining experience truly memorable. A special shoutout to Giulia, the receptionist, whose warmth and professionalism made my check-in seamless and enjoyable. Overall, I couldn't recommend this hotel enough for anyone seeking a wonderful retreat with top-notch service.

The hotel building and the scene was legendary nice. The stuff were very friendly and helpful. The room was quite big and very clean. The bed was extra comfortable. The location depends on your plans. We had a car to visit Pisa and Florance, thus we chose this hotel because it is in a small village between these two cities. Finding the free parkin spot was also easy and very accessible.

The view from the balcony is simply stunning, you can see horses. The air is clean. The food provided by the hotel is very tasty, they brought it straight to our room. There is a pizzeria nearby, one of the most delicious I have tried. Good location if you plan to visit Florence or Pisa by train.
There are few places around where you can eat. More precisely, on weekends or holidays, everything around is closed and it is very difficult to eat.

Quattro Gigli Palace is beautiful place to stay. The raw gem with the soul in the small town of Montopoli. The owners, a lovely family were very welcome and made us feel special. The staff went extra mile to answer and accommodate our wishes. We did have a room with balcony overlooking valley. From there we could watch beautiful sunsets every evening. Absolutely worth to book it! This is not atypical boring chain hotel. The place has a charm ❤️, which we just loved it! When there, visit in the hotel restaurant is a must too! Definitely we will be back one day!!!

What a nice place! The staff was lovely, the building is super charming and the food was very good :) The bed was super comfortable and we had everything we needed. We had a room with a balcony and we got to wake up with a nice coffee while looking at the beautiful toscane landscape, so great! Don’t expect brand new everything, it is an old building that I am sure is quite hard to maintain but they did a very good job. We didn’t want to leave! Also, try the store next door at lunch they can make you a delicious meat and cheese platter! We felt super relaxed there, and again great staff!

Hotel was really nice and the people working there were great. Parking was free, two minutes walking from the hotel. We found a space every day.
Breakfast was good, it had salty and sweet options also coffee and tea but it would by nice to have little more options of ham / cheese / bread.

The hotel was charming with lots of fun little nooks and crannies to hang out and enjoy the view. Our room had a nice little balcony overlooking the valley, and there were orange trees & wisteria in bloom, wafting incredible scents into our room all night. The night we stayed there the restaurant was closed but the hostess made reservations for us at another place that was lovely.
Overall, the hotel seemed past its prime and was a bit tired all around with little things worn out or broken. The ac didn't work well; the caulking in the shower was worn out and stained; the quality of some of the breakfast foods was just tolerable, but the coffee was excellent. Don't get me wrong, I would stay there again it was charming in it's wear, sort of like a favorite old sweater.
