Amazing view from the window, just as in the picture We had a pool (or jacuzzi?) on the rooftop that we could use at any time - we didn't have time to use it, but it looked very nice! with a beautiful view Very tasty breakfast - huge cappuccino (but you could choose any drink - espresso juice etc), sweets (crepes, croissant etc with a choice of nutella, jam), omelette filled with cheese and/or ham/salami Very friendly and he also helped us at some point on the stairs with our luggage when arriving Very fast responses and good communication, he also spoke English very well Maiori is AMAZING to stay as a base. We visited Amalfi and Positano and they were horribly filled with tourists so much that you couldn't breathe and the prices were double or triple than in Maiori. There is a port nearby, the bus station is right at the base of the stairs to the accommodation - so the location is amazing. If you stay in smaller cities, you may not get in the bus because they fill in Amalfi and Maiori. So I would truly recommend staying in Maiori or Minori WiFi very good - my husband had to work and he was able to without problems. I even did videocalls and it worked without problems Very clean - also room is cleaned daily Another amazing thing about the location - is in the middle of Path of Lemons! A must-do trail from Maiori to Minori with great views - you have to climb a little bit more from the accommodation and you're in the top!
Not something we didn't like, but something to know: obviously, as in most accommodations in Amalfi Coast, you have to climb many stairs (~300), so if you have any problems with mobility or very heavy and many luggages, it's good to know. We didn't have any problems, it was all worth the view :)

The B&B is located on a hill right above Maiori, so the view for the price of the B&B is superb!! The way up is probably hard to manage with big luggages, so be warned! Antonio made amazing coffee & omelettes + premade pancakes and croissants- the breakfast was generally surprisingly filling (considering what small B&Bs in Italy normally offer). The room was cleaned every day( again not taking that for granted for a B&B with 2 rooms) and the small pool on the roof was a nice extra!! We also liked the cold drinkable tap water in the kitchen a lot!

Antonio is an incredibly kind and helpful host. We were greeted warmly and offered cold lemonade and help with anything you can imagine. He gave us great advice on hiking the Path of Gods, and also sent us to the BEST restaurant of our trip: Donna Maria, so please ask him for any tips on things you want to do. We enjoyed being up above the bustle of the city though take note of the well-advertised stairs! Hauling the luggage up in the heat was the only time it was really hard for us though. I particularly enjoyed the size of Maiori- it wasn't overrun with people but had plenty to offer. It was a great place to come back to after hiking or being in a busier touristy city during the day. Maiori also has a port with relatively inexpensive ferries to the other towns... or simply walk. Minori is a short walk on the Path of Lemons that literally starts right outside the door of this place. My daughter and I hiked there, then up to Ravello, then down to Atrani and Amalfi all in one morning. Antonio brought us breakfast each day (crepes were delicious) and also allowed us to do some laundry in the evenings. The rooms were plenty big and had all necessary amenities. AC was cold, which was great since we were there in the middle of a heat wave. We also got to see 2 fireworks shows- one from downtown and one from the Norman Tower that you can see from the room.

We absolutely loved the stay. When we arrived, our host gave us lemon granita and was really sweet. We had the room with the balcony and the view was insane, loved it and looking forward to come back again! The room was an old-fashioned style, but with nice ceramic details and felt cosy and comfortable. Be careful, if you go on foot, there is a lot of steps because it is uphill but worth it! Beach in Maiori was very nice and on foot it is maybe 10 minutes to the B&B. Also, breakfast included and the host packed us some food on the way too, thank you so much for the stay!

We loved our stay here, the view is amazing and worth the 280 steps to get there. We were worried that the steps would be an issue but found that they weren't so hard to go up and are broken up with a bit of walking up hill after the first 88 steps. We actually went up and down twice each day and managed OK. The host Antonio goes above and beyond for his guests, he met us at the bus stop and helped carry my very heavy suitcase up the stairs (sorry Antonio!) and then also dropped us off at the end, he prepared breakfast for us each day and adjusted to my dairy free and gluten free diet. Breakfast is from 8 to 9am but he can accommodate a bit earlier. He is always available via whatsapp to help with questions and info, he is the best host we had on our 24 day trip! Our room was comfortable with old school charm but everything was adequate, there is a safe very easy to use, a narrow balcony to enjoy the view, air con, storage space, TV, it was perfect for our long stay. It is also at the start of the Path of Lemons which we recommend going to Minori as the beach there is nice and not busy compared to others. Maiori was a good affordable base for us visiting the Amalfi Coast and this hotel is a good option if you have the mobility to go up the stairs. Bonus we saw fireworks form our balcony one night!
The shampoo and shower gel pumps need labels as we couldn't tell which was which!

This was a great find, set slightly back from the main town of Maiori but still very quick and easy to be in the main street in a couple of minutes which has a whole host of bars/ restaurants/ shops etc. On arrival Antonio gave us some fresh lemonade and went through the details of the stay. The room was of a decent size, enough hanging space for clothes and the bathrooms more than adequate in size. We had a balcony off the side which gave great views out to sea and the surrounding towns lit up in the evening. There was a little pool upstairs on the roof with a couple of sun loungers which was perfect for cooling down in the hot afternoon sun. Everything worked in the room - air con, fridge etc so there was no issues with keeping any drinks in your room or trouble sleeping at night from being too hot. Breakfast was amazing and I'm sure you've see on the other reviews, the omelettes are great along with the other bits and pieces which you get. The B&B is situated at the start of the lemon trail walk aswell which was helpful having a small headstart.
Not an issue but more so people are aware but the town itself has a lot of steps. In order to get to the place, there is quite a few steps to walk up so be prepared for that. The only other thing in the room we stayed in "Tea" the shower didn't drain the water away very quickly which resulted in water being all over the bathroom floor which was fine as you could just turn the power on the shower down to prevent this.

everything was amazing about the property, host was the best and helped with everything you needed. There is a pool and a balcony with a crazy view of the city. Breakfast was amazing there was crossoints, coffee, and omlettes. You can get help with the bags if you need it up the stairs. Very easy and quiet to sleep as well. Very good location once you walk down.
Only small issue is the stairs to get up but that's just the kind of city you are staying in. If you can't handle a lot of stairs I would stay somewhere on the ground near the beach. It is worth the view and more once you get up there.

Had a wonderful stay! The breakfast was exceptional – fresh and tasty. The staff were incredibly helpful and always ready to assist with a smile. Made us feel very welcome throughout our stay!
There were a lot of steps to climb and it felt tiring at times. But once I reached the top, the view made it all worth it. It was beautiful and peaceful up there. If you don’t mind a bit of a climb, I definitely recommend going — the view is the best part!

We loved our stay at Palazzo Cocò! We particularly enjoyed our breakfast each morning and the friendly staff. We had a beautiful view from our balcony and, while the hotel is quite hard work to, it means it is nice and quiet at night away from the hustle and bustle of the town. Would 100% recommend!
Just the number of steps to climb! But this is reflected in the reasonable price. Not suitable for people with accessibility issues.
