The laid back atmosphere is right up my alley. I'm not saying they are not serious about their work. The place is a well oiled machine. The staff is polite, the service is impeccable, the place is clean, comfy, the location is awesome, and it looks like they are doing it without a sweat. The place is on the Greenway del Lago di Como path, which is a great way to get to know the surrounding villages. Also it is cca 50 metres from the lake and the ferry. So - awesome location. The room was fantastic, clean, the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was great, pretty good choices. The one time I had dinner at the restaurant, the food was delicious, the service impeccable, yet laid back, I enjoyed it very much. Public parking is available near the place, which is a great plus if you get there by car. All in all, awesome place, awesome people. Will be back!

I absolutely loved this hotel. A family run (I think) charming and quaint hotel in the beautiful Lake Como town of Lenno. I stayed 3 nights as I was attending a wedding and thought the room was perfect. Very, very clean room and bathroom, very comfortable bed and spacious room (I stayed in the room which can fit 3 people) with a lovely balcony with 2 chairs which had a stunning view of the mountains. The location was great too, quite tucked away and only a 20/5 minute walk to the ferry terminal of Lenno. On the way to the terminal there’s lots of cute restaurants and 2 supermarkets which was handy. The breakfast was really great also, had a great selection. The staff were lovely and I felt at home here. I’d love to return here!

Location in a very charming part of town, Close to the lake (50 m), close to hiking trails, right on the Lake Como Greenway, free parking, delicious full breakfast, view, spacious room, dog friendly, very good restaurant downstairs for dinner

We had to ask for the heating to be turned on, but it was turned on and it was warm after all :) a little carpet would make the room more cosy. The bathrooms could use making sure there is no mold etc. There wasnt a lot of it but, should be 0 :)

The atmosphere was great at Il Grifo, we only stayed one night but would’ve gladly spent more if we had the time. The room was a good size for our needs, really warm when we got there, which I liked, especially since we were walking around in the rain since the morning. In the morning we had breakfast served which was more than enough for the two of us and quite varied. We would absolutely come back if we’ll be in the area in the future.

Perfect location for lake como, more quiet and relaxed than Bellagio / Varenna. Lots of restaurants nearby and we loved the breakfast every morning. Rooms were cleaned everyday and staff were great! They even opened breakfast early for us on our last day. 15min walk to the ferry, we didn’t mind as it had beautiful views the whole way.

Absolutely everything. The family, the room, breakfasts, the localization, the evening piano concerts. Breakfast are fresk and you may order whatever you want. The family is serving The breakfasts. Lenno is a very good place to stay because it's silent place with nice path greenwalk del lago, an historical centre, with the most beautiful place on Como Lake - Villa Balbianello and its garden. The best is that the localization is in the Middle Como Lake where boats can carry you to Menaggio, Bellagio and Varenna. Also Como is is a nice city. The shuttle boats can carry you to Domaso or Colico - very silent place with beautiful view on Alp. We spend here one weekend with our dog. The room was big enough for the two of us and a cocker spaniel 😊

We had a spacious and clean room for me and my daughters. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The WiFi was good and reliable. The included breakfast was very generous, with pancakes, eggs, baked goods, yogurt and a lot more.

The parking situation around lake Como is tricky. Although across the street under the bridge we could park our vehicle.

The rooms seem to have been recently refurbished. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast has been served (in the premisses of the restaurant) and was excellent, with great quality food. We arrived later than planned due to traffic and the staff was kind enough to arrange a late check-in.

Great location. Beautiful building and interior. The room was gorgeous and very spacious! Had lovely cold air conditioning as it was very hot. Huge bathroom. Comfortable beds. Stunning food at the restaurant the best food we had in Italy! Lovely breakfast included. Very friendly staff. Has a Laundromat 5 min walk away which was handy. Very clean and beautifully styled hotel. I highly recommend.

it is a family run hotel more than one hundred years. the hostel is an ancient well kept building. the room is spacious fully equipped although we did not use the kitchen. very very clean. very romantic restaurant. very nice team although some have difficulty with English. breakfast is simple but very good (Italian style: good bread, espresso/ cappuccino and Dolci among other things). the location is good. it is in Lenno village with lake view. very quite and romantic. Lenno has very narrow alleys kept as it was hundred of years ago. a must. i would chose the hotel again.
