We loved the location and the wonderful breakfast that was done by Cherry every morning! She was also very helpful with information and directions. We really enjoyed the comfy bed! Access to the train to Rome was an easy walk and to the cruise terminal ... it's just down the block!
The smell that came into our room that smelled like sewage in the morning. After a while, it disappeared, but it was quite strong. Really wished you had an elevator and having an outside bathroom was different for us but there was a nice big shower, so all was OK!! We realize it's a 400 year old building, and we understand.

It was in a very cute older building. Plenty of space and clean rooms. The views of the streets and port were a plus! Shops and restaurants are within walking distance. I would not recommend this bed & breakfast for people in wheelchairs or those unable to walk up stairs as there is 4 flights you will have to go up & there is no elevator. The steps however are not steep and easy to climb. Cherie was wonderful during our stay to answer any and all questions quickly, have a nice conversation with & the breakfast was great. We did meet the owner Anna and she was very sweet as well. Overall would definitely recommend this as a stay for those capable to climb stairs!
N/A. Everything was wonderful.

The location is perfect, right in the middle of everything, where restaurants & shops were very handy & the area is very walkable. The beach/boardwalk area with bars & restaurants is very close & there were many nice places in town too. To access the rooms, the employee texted instructions & we met her at the entrance. There is no elevator, so be prepared to walk a couple of levels with luggage. We received 1 chip each upon arrival, which allowed us each 1 free drink at a local restaurant that was close-by & very nice. We ended up eating there too. The room was very comfortable, but be aware most of the rooms have a private bathroom, but you have to walk across the hall to get to it. I had reserved 1 of the rooms with an interior bathroom & pre-paid a little more for it, but it was not available when we arrived, so I’m looking into that now that I’m back home. The ancient 19th century style room keys took some getting used to. You need 1 for the room & 1 for the bathroom. The beds were comfortable & our room was large. The breakfast in the morning was very good & had a large variety of foods available. The owner then provided us a free ride to the cruise port, which was very helpful. Next time we’re in Civitavecchia, I would stay there again & I recommend it if the lack of elevator & exterior bathroom situation doesn’t bother you. We were told the building used to be a dorm for priests, so the setup makes sense for that. It’s very difficult to make changes to old buildings in Italy, so some quirks will be unavoidable.
We agreed to allow early arrival of the new clients to store their luggage in the room 1.5 hour earlier than check-out time, but all of a sudden they were there & wanted in the room, which needed cleaning, and we were forced to leave before check-out time. That was hectic

loved the BnB yes the flights of stairs but that's small in comparison to the taxi driver being there and waiting on us at the airport to cherie waiting for us when we arrived and being so sweet making sure we were comfortable, helping us with the bags. we had a nice big room that fit us all and on top of that it's located by plenty of things to do including bars resturants shops grocery and a night market which was awsome. 1 block from the beach which was beautiful. Breakfast was wonderful a perfect start to the day then we had the pleasure of meeting Anna and she was such a delight she took us to the port (please don't try and walk it seems close but there are no paths to get into the port area) but she got us there on time and gave us some language lessons on the way and told us about the city she was truly wonderful! the whole stay was wonderful we will.come back again for sure. we want to explore more of civitavecchia! thank you so much BnB Porto you started our vacation perfectly...
just wear non slip shoes from.the shower to your room the marble floors can get a little slippery! other than that everything was great

This review is for the sister property B&B Port Inn: I mistakenly booked the B&B Port View and didn't realize there wasn't a lift until the morning of check-in. Fortunately for me, I had been communicating with owner Anna, who arranged car service for us from Rome Termini to her B&B. Anna quickly booked us into an available room at her other property B&B Port Inn which has a lift. Enroute, the driver was in communication with the property and Anna's associate greeted us upon arrival and assisted us with our luggage. We were so thankful! One difference in accommodation is that B&B Port Inn does not have a kitchen but there was an ample quantity and choice of coffee/tea, packaged breakfast items along with yogurt, cheese, salami, juice and bottled water in the mini fridge. We also hired Anna to provide door to door car service to the cruise terminal. Anna is a gem and we highly recommend her for providing extraordinary customer service!

Absolutely perfect location. Superb staff and check in. There is no reception but our host met us and ensured we knew where to go. The room was exceptionally clean and we had a lovely view out onto the street. Our host also made sure we got the transfer to the port to catch our cruise. Excellent service!!!
We had help getting our cases up and down the flights of stairs but just note that there is no lift. We were fine but if you are elderly, it's just something to note.

A port city which is breathtaking. Personally, it is very much like Cape Town in South Africa. The one night stay at Alloggio Turistico was most welcoming. I want to personally thank Cherrie and Anna for the superb and comfortable accommodation. It was home away from home experience. For our next visit to Civitavecchia, this hotel will be a must. It was a real pleasure to be welcomed by these two formidable women
There was absolutely to complain about.

The property is very well located. The front of the building is old and looks old. It lacks paint maintenance. The main door is old and seems broken. It's a bit shocking but when you go up the stairs and go through the different floors. Please note that it does not have an elevator. However, upon reaching the third floor, the rooms look very comfortable. You have to leave the room to use the bathroom. The bathroom is for each private room. It has a small kitchen and they serve you wonderfully.

Great location, in what we were told was a 400 year old building. The building was clearly old but so is the city and it gave it a certain charm. The room and bathroom was quite modern though. It was very spacious and quite nice and very clean. It was everything we needed. The host was great. She contacted us ahead of our arrival to coordinate everything and all went very smoothly. We also had a wonderful breakfast prepared for us. I was very pleased overall.

The accommodation was good except the bathroom is outside in the corridor. It’s very inconvenient for senior guests to use in the evening. Otherwise the owner is very friendly and willing to help. The guest room is on second floor and no elevator available, it’s was so nice that the owner assisted in helping to carry our luggage’s to the room. No breakfast included!
