Jasper BnB is located a stones throw from, and in the middle of, the main drag through the tourist area and the Massimo Bellini Theatre. It’s a 10 minute walk to the train station and 40 minute walk to the beach area, which was a bit of a construction site as doesn’t really open until end of May. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants all around. The apartment is on a main thoroughfare and even though it’s situated on the 3rd floor, the noise and vibration from outside is felt, so bring your earplugs. Apart from a warm welcome and explanation from Santo, I didn’t see anyone in the apartment the whole week I was there, but it felt very safe and homely. If I needed anything, communication with Jasper was prompt via booking.com. The room itself was like it’s own little apartment, it was clean, spacious, cool, comfortable and tastefully furnished. There are usb ports to charge your phone. Curtesy umbrellas should you need one. There’s a small balcony that gets sun in the late afternoon, but it’s a bit like sitting besides the M25. The breakfast of fruit; juiciest oranges, apple, yogurt, processed croissants, crisp bread, jam, coffee and juice was okay, but go spoil yourself with an authentic cornetto filled with ricotta. Also provided in the fridge, was a selection of complimentary drinks: water, soda. Bring some powdered milk for your coffee or buy some milk from the local shop. The water was nice and hot, but be careful with the shower head, it can take on a life of it own. Some toiletries and vanity kits provided. Loved my stay it was a great base to explore the East Coast a little, and cheap enough for me to afford a tasty breakfast in the town. It was my birthday while I was there and I received a rather special touch of a complimentary bottle of Prosecco which I made into Buck’s Fizz with the fresh oranges and enjoyed sitting on the balcony, thank you again Jasper. I’d definitely recommend this place.

I loved everything and I couldn’t ask for a better place to stay. Jasper is a really kind, helpful and amazing host. The apartment in a fantastic location. I had the small balcony, which was perfect for the morning espresso and for some evening drink. I had oranges, small chocolates, water and other nice things every day waiting for me. Everything was clean and the bathroom and the room look really nice. I would recommend to everyone and when I go back to Catania I will definitely stay here again. Thank you Jasper for your kindness, you made my stay perfect.

It was amazing. The host was very polite. He welcomed us at the door. The room was very clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable the pillows too. There was a balcony with a nice view to the Main Street of the city. Although the location is in downtown it was surprisingly quiet and peaceful in the nighttime except Sunday night but I think this is normal for the place. Another interesting thing is that the host had left coffee, tea, alcoholic and other nonalcoholic drinks in the fridge all on the house.

The only thing I didn’t like is that the tiles on the floor were too cold and there was no slippers provided. I recommend to bring some slippers for the stay.

Jasper is a super friendly and caring host, who helped us with everything. Communication and check-in was super easy, also his recommendations were very helpful. The apartment is located directly in the centre, many options for food, drinks, shopping and all the sights of the centre are just a few meters away. It’s nice to have a fridge in the room and the balcony is great for a coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening and to watch the street life. The interior is beautiful and the mattress was the best ever had in Italy. We recommend everybody to stay here!

A very pleasant and comfortable stay in the center of Catania. Close to the airport bus stop and the most important city sights. Very clean, quiet, and quiet despite the windows to the street. Fantastic contact with the owner, approach to the arrival time, and trouble-free checkout. The room had everything down to the smallest detail, a comfortable bed, drink-making facilities, and an Italian breakfast including items such as croissants and fruit (breakfast wasn't really on offer). I recommend it with a clear conscience.

Perfect place to stay in Catania! It's basically an apartment with two separate rooms from the hall - on the right a very cosy and spacious bedroom with high ceilings, cute design and a small balcony, on the left - a big modern bathroom with everything you may need including a hair dryer. As the bathroom is separated, you can have more privacy there, if you aren't traveling alone. There were some complimentary drinks in the fridge and the host cleaned every day and changed the towels as well as added water to the fridge. There is a coffee machine with capsules, fridge and electric kettle and also a sofa. The location is ideal, close to everything in the city center, 7 mins to Piazza Paolo Borsellino, from where buses to the beach, airport and other cities go, 15 mins to the central train station, which I used once. I want to extra thank the host - Jasper is the best! He helped a lot with all my additional requests, I was able to leave my luggage with him, as my bus was in the evening, and after a hot day in the city he offered me his place (which is on the same floor) to cool down, rest, and even have a shower, though I have checked out already. Amazing host, so just book it and look no further!

The windows face a noisy street, so it might be a problem for trouble sleepers. But with the temperature being really high during the season, you just close the window, turn on the A/C and you should be fine.

We spent four nights in this beautiful apartment and can recommend it to everyone. The location is just perfect, a few minutes to all the sights of the old town, very good restaurants, cafes and bars in the immediate vicinity. Jasper is a very warm and helpful host, we felt completely comfortable. The balcony is nice for a coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening and to watch the hustle and bustle on the street. The decor is stylish, the mattress is very comfortable and the water pressure of the shower was much better than at home in Germany :) We love to come back again ❤️

We had a delightful stay at Jasper's apartment in central Catania. The host provided exceptional hospitality. Sparkling clean and paid attention to small details as water/other drinks, chocolate, fruits prepared in the room. I highly recommend this apartment for its excellent shower, balcony, and outstanding hospitality. It's the perfect choice for anyone wanting to explore the charming city of Catania. A lovely, beautifully decorated and impeccably clean apartment, well located in the centre of Catania. The communication from the host Jasper was great and very helpful. The bedroom is huge with a super comfortable bed, and there is also a large bathroom with a great shower. We only stayed one night, but wished it was longer.

Parking can be a bit difficult nearby, but that is the same for most of the centre of Catania.

Jasper was so lovely and welcoming. He was very generous and hospitable, he had the room fully stocked up with treats, drinks and breakfast. we wish we could’ve stayed for more than a night. The apartment it’s self was spotless and the beds were extremely comfortable. The bathroom was clean and luxurious. Balcony was stunning. No complaints.
