They staff were excellent and very accommodating. The room was quite large and comfortable. It was very handy to have a nice breakfast included, and I personally appreciated the availability of alternative offerings for my dietary needs. It also felt very safe and comfortable within the private gate of the complex.

One of the reasons we chose this hotel was due to its proximity to the Catania airport as we were arriving in at night and didn't want to travel far. That was great. However, we still needed to find dinner. We drove into Catania, but didn't have a lot of luck with traffic and where we ended up. Nothing was really nearby the hotel, so perhaps more specific recommendations in town and for directions/parking would have been really helpful.

We stayed one night, prior to catching a flight from Catania Airport the next morning. For this purpose, Borgo Palombaio was ideal as it is close the airport (5 minute drive). The staff were helpful and friendly. We arranged to arrive at four p.m. and were greeted and shown to our room, which was comfortable, clean and reasonably sized. We also found that Borgo Palombaio is a 10-minute taxi drive from the city centre, so we were able to do some sightseeing in Catania and have a meal in the city.

The immediately surrounding area is rather drab and unattractive.

This is a good location close to the airport, which was helpful for a midnight arrival. The staff were wonderful. The room was large and clean. The breakfast was filling plus the room had a Nespresso machine for coffee before the breakfast schedule. It was also easy to walk to the car rental area at the airport.

We had to come to the hotel late at night due to a Flight cancellation, the staff were so kind to us and accommodating , they ordered us a pizza and drinks even though late as the children were tired and allowed us to book some extra time in the morning so we could figure out our journey .. breakfast was lovely .. the staff ordered us a taxi to another airport further away and the cost was reasonable , they gave us water for our journey .. the place was clean and comfortable and was just what we needed after our ordeal x

Although this is categorized as a B&B, it felt more like a high-quality hotel. The family working here was very pleasant and helpful. It was close to the airport, which is why we booked it. It also had secure parking inside a gated lot and there was plenty of parking. The town center was close driving distance and the host gave us instructions to find the public parking for the center. I especially liked the large bath towel and it was incredibly soft as well. Bed was comfy.

If you are looking for a hotel for the historic center, this probably isn't a place to stay. If you have a car and want easy parking, this hotel is very good. It's also close to the airport, so if you need something there, this is great.

Within walking distance of Airport. Our flight was delayed, arrived at 1:30 AM. Erica greeted us with a smile and checked us in. Borgo Palombaio is secure, safe, and very comfortable! Room was amazing and the A/C was perfect. Breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed!

Located in an industrial area, if looking to walk to a restaurant, store or anything- it’s not there. Great place for just a sleep/stopover for airport. Clean and spacious, friendly and kind staff. Quick 10 min, 30 euro Uber to the airport.

I loved the location and the cleanliness of the place and the feeling of safety as there is a big gate, the staff was lovely.

The bed was not very comfortable, quite soft and squidgy. There were some ants in the room that invaded the desk when we left some bread on it.

The hosts were super nice, and it was spotlessly clean, and a very comfy bed. It was just on the edge of town so very quiet but within walking distance to everything. A very nice balcony.

Fantastic stay. Our flight was delayed and we arrived very late after midnight at the property. The staff were very polite and helpful. The breakfast was fantastic. And the aircons in the room essential as it was very hot. Thank you!
