The location was perfect - 5 minutes walk from Piazza Maggiore. Smart, modern design. Very welcoming and helpful owner and staff. Lovely breakfasts

No lift, so 3 flights of stairs to main floor. No external space Restricted time for breakfast as only 6 places available for 8 to 10 people

The owner and staff were absolutely lovely, and extraordinarily helpful. The bed was huge and comfy, temperature control in the room was easy to sort and there were extra blankets if needed. The fridge/kettle/safe were very useful, and there was plenty of storage. We opted for breakfast which was simple but good quality, esp the freshly squeezed orange juice. It's in a great position less than 10 min walk into the heart of the old town, and 20 mins to the train station, with bars and restaurants very close by. Ps. The owner was amazing at sorting us a taxi back to the airport but don't assume one will be available as there appears to be a shortage of drivers.

Nothing!! Altho i will comment that the shower cubicle is quite small if you are a 6ft3 tank like my husband, and there are only a couple of plug sockets.

This was our 10th trip to Italy but the first time in Bologna. We just loved this city. Mua (on Via De Coltellini) was exceptional as was the Manager, Uberto. He was extremely professional, helpful and friendly. The rooms were well furnished, clean and well suited our needs. Cleaning and breakfast staff were also very friendly and professional. Mua is centrally located to everything. You don't really need the bus unless going to or from the train station (taxis are also plentiful and relatively inexpensive). Being our first time in Bologna, Uberto provided us with all the information on places to see and things to do in this wonderful city, especially pointing out the small train up to San Luca and the Canale on Via Piella, both must-sees. While we are not really breakfast people, we did not eat breakfast at Mua and Uberto pointed out a couple cafes close by. Bar Felicity, across the main street from Mua was very good for croissants, coffee and tea. This first visit to Bologna certainly exceeded our expectations, as did Mua, and we hope to return at some point to do more exploring of the region around Bologna. Barry and Sherry

The location was very convenient and within walking distance to the historic center. The room was a good size for two people with plenty of room for luggage. Overall the bed and breakfast had a clean, modern design. We didn't use the breakfast option. There are plenty of cafes nearby to grab a coffee and a pastry. The staff were very friendly and personable.

The bathroom and the shower stall itself are on the small side but somewhat expected in Europe. If you're a very large person I would not book this room.

The communication before we arrived was timely and clear. The accommodation is well located and we felt comfortable and very secure. We enjoyed the breakfasts. Time was spent advising us on local restaurants and visits to cultural sites. Uberto is a wonderful host and we really appreciated the time he gave to us. We are both trying to learn Italian and Uberto helped us and allowed us to practise our flawed Italian! We loved that.

We liked everything.

On par price accommodation in central Bologna. Excellent location in old town of Bologna, with close walks to sights, shopping and restaurants. Room was clean and functional, though nothing extra fancy. The host Umberto and all of the staff was excellent and very willing to help in all ways!

This accommodation is located on a side street and does not have any fancy views anywhere, but it did not really bother us. (Breakfast comes at extra charge, we did not try it this time).

The place js small, but efficient and well located. The owner is very friendly and informative. The girl working the breakfast (a medicine student) was nice and super friendly.

Breakfast could have been better, have more offerings. Having to vacate the room by 11am is a bit too early, specially for a small property that has a check-in time of 3pm (even though we were allowed to our room shortly after 1pm.

Excellent accommodation, clean and comfortable room and very well equiped. Excellent location, very close to everything. The breakfast was nice. Uberto is a friendly and helpful host and his assistant Nasne a very kind lady. Highly recommended, if you don't mind paying a bit extra.

Bare in mind that there is a staircase and no lift to go to the room, but a minor issue.

Everything, owner, Mr Uberto is super nice, helpful and friendly, the lady at the breakfast session is super nice and helpful too. It's like a 20mins walk from Bologna Centrale Station, away from Noise. Apartment is Cozy, Mr Uberto made good provisions for my 3yrs old daughter, she got her own space to sleep too. It was a modern apartment that is just enough for 3 of us ... Shops are around the corner, location seems to be somewhat an alley, even though it's a street ... It's crazy that the best food we tried in Italy was in the Chinese restaurant directly opposite Bologna Central Station... In all owner is Good and I will lodge here again...

Maybe the bathroom can be a bit bigger but I understand space is premium here and can't complain much.

- It's not a real hotel, just 6 rooms on the 2nd floor of a building - There is no lobby and staff are only on site for checkin/out and breakfast - But it was good for our 4 night stay
