The room is clean and functional, well fitted and cosy, nothing major to fault.
The radiator in the room had a broken thermostat, though this could be mitigated by simply opening the window! (At Manx energy prices, this might pose more problems for the owners...) The building is a traditional-type B&B, with "Dutch" stairs and no lift, but I found an area downstairs to store my 25kg case, thankfully. The restuarant is located in a separate building about 100m up the hill. Again, this probably isn't a huge problem.

Location was good along the promenade , within walking distance to shops etc . Bus stop on the promenade close by . Room 206 was warm & comfortable but small with en-suite bathroom with good hot water . Facilities were ok a kettle & cups & tea , coffee & milk . Good Wi Fi. We did find on the ground floor a kitchen with a microwave which we used to heat up breakfast & evening meal ( unfortunately no toaster or fridge. But fine ). We were not expecting this so a real bonus . We did not use the breakfast or dinner menus ourselves but I understand they were good . Overall we enjoy our selves , was a quiet property , but we did have a couple of nights when neighbours were noisy ( not drastic ) For the price etc we were happy overall .
The shower tap was very difficult to open & close being very large & stiff to turn . Took a lot of time & effort to do . Would be very difficult for elderly or persons with problems of grip . Did complain but it did not seemed to be resolved . Room service was mixed but we had to ask for top ups one day ( fine ) Small tv on top of wardrobe , small selection of channels all free view ( but ok ) difficult to read subtitles etc sometimes . You had to sign in up the road not far ( ok if the weather is good ) No sea view ( if it’s important to you )

We had a great stay at the Glen Mona you could hear the sea and the birds we had room 201 . The bed was good but the t v could have done with being a little bigger . As it’s at the far end of the room high above a door 😂 As for the location it’s up a side street nice spot to walk into town and the reception is in a bar called HQ which is just up the road . We met Ash who checked us in he also works the bar it’s a great bar great music and drinks . A couple to try are his 🌶️ tequila and the smooth Parma Vodka . We will definitely going back soon

The stay at the Glen Mona was an excellent experience. The room was immaculate and the bathroom and toilet spotless. Special recognition also for the bed. It had a matress that wad so comfortable. Rating the breakfast, I only found one negative, but I'm sure it can be improved upon. The breakfast choice was super, and the staff did their best in trying to keep it hot. Unfortunately, although the items were hot, the plates were very cold and when used, it soon made the breakfast become cold too quick.
The cold breakfast plates.

The room was extremely clean and very comfortable, they have obviously refurbished the accommodation as everything was new including the bathroom. The food was nice and the bar had a great selection of beers and spirits
The only thing I could really say is the stairs were pretty narrow, anyone with mobility issues could struggle getting up and down them

The accommodation was very clean, comfortable and everything provided to make a very lovely stay. Conveniently situated in Douglas. Parking is difficult but so is any hotel in Douglas. Usually there is somewhere close to park. Food is provided at the top of the road at HQ and it was perfect and we cannot fault what we had to eat the whole length of our stay. So glad we booked half board. Staff were lovely.
Nothing.

Very clean, great location by the sea. The staff are very nice and go out of their way to be helpful. For example I had a competition early in the morning and I turned up an hour earlier for breakfast on a Sunday and they made me tea and toast. The next day I had time to have the cooked breakfast and it was excellent. They also suggested places to see. Comfortable bed, nice shower.

Room was fine, breakfast was good, staff were very friendly, location was good, suited my needs for the trip. Glen Mona offers good value for money.
Parking is a real issue in this area of Douglas, different spot every time you need to move your vehicle. This isn't however the fault of the Hotel itself.

The food was very good and the staff were excellent and very helpful. The room was comfortable and facilities in the hotel were good. The hotel position was great for reaching the promenade and shops etc
The toilet occasionally stuck and continued to fill unless the button was released
