There was plenty of choice for breakfast and dinner, both days and our requests were always met with a smile. The chambermaids were helpful and friendly. A lovely atmosphere in the hotel, the staff seem happy to work there, everywhere was clean and fresh and the beds were v comfortable. We couldn’t fault our stay. Well done to everyone working there.

I was SO very impressed with The Park Hotel. Everyone was extremely friendly, welcoming and kind! We were greeted so happily at the front desk upon arrival, and it was a great surprise to see all the activities and fun things to do for the kiddos! The staff in the restaurant were lovely, especially Connor, he was our go-to man, so helpful, friendly and offered wonderful suggestions. We had planned to go out to the town for our second night, but in the end we decided to eat on the beautiful terrace and we were lucky enough to enjoy the band playing for a private party. Declan we met briefly, he was so kind, attentive and accommodating! Our stay at The Park Hotel was top notch! We were all so impressed with the details, the cozy blankets, nighttime cookies, face painting, movie night, the game room and more! My family and I were so delighted with our wonderful and memorable visit! I would absolutely love to come back and will definitely recommend to friends and family! Thank you all, and keep up the excellent work! It truly made a massive impact on our family holiday! Thank you.

there is a great buzz when you arrive in the lobby of the hotel, which is colourful, warm and inviting. The reception staff was super efficient and friendly. All staff were really welcoming and friendly.

Our bathroom needs a bit of upgrading, with wooden panels getting old, door needs to be painted etc. Screen on the bathtub needs rubber at the bottom to prevent water from dripping overboard. Toilet seat was loose. but it could just have been in this particular family room. These things can happen. The lobby was the only place to sit and enjoy the beautiful view on the river. We were surprised to see that the bar and restaurant were taking advantage of this at all...

We had a beautiful 2 night stay, hotel is lovely, rooms are spotless clean and the bed is so comfortable. We ate in the bar and the food was excellent also. Breakfast has a fantastic range to choose from and again the food was very good. Only thing was on our first morning our table for breakfast was in the middle of the section you helped yourself so it was a little annoying everyone standing around you while you tried to eat but I guess it was because the hotel was busy and we did not get the same table the next morning. Great location too, just a few minutes walk to the town centre.

Everything was excellent. We stayed at the Colligan Suite with a view of the river and it was fabulous with plenty of space and nice furniture. The bathroom was also spacious with a modern bath. The double bed was huge and very comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. Staff was all very friendly and super organized. Just 5 min walk from the village.

As it is close to a busy road, you can hear cars passing during the day, also some of the guests were talking outside late in the evening. But when the night approaches it gets really quiet and we woke up with some exotic birds sounds. Maybe only complaint will be that the bath robes had a bit of a kitchen smell, that’s all.

Lovely hotel all around - couldn't fault the location, staff or food. Extremely central to all the amenities Dungarvan has to offer. The staff were very friendly, so helpful and accommodating which makes all the difference when travelling with a little one. The food was superb - from the 3 course dinner right through to the breakfast - great value for money. Everything was perfect. Will be back again in future!

Parking - plenty of spaces but there happened to be a wedding on the night we stayed and we found it hard to find a parking space.

Good choice of breakfast, however on the first morning I was served a fried egg with a hard yolk. The bed was very comfortable, the room was nicely furnished, good bedding and nice big towels. I loved the swimming pool and poolside facilities.

The bathroom needs updating. Needs a walk in shower, even if it means doing away with the bath. The location of the full length mirror at the back of the hanging space was not ideal and the location of the other mirror was too high for short people!

We stated at the hotel overnight on route from the Rosslare ferry to West Cork. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and food at dinner and breakfast was very good.Our room was a triple however only 2 of us and there was plenty of space and storage. The bathroom looked like it had recently been renovated and was very clean. The hotel is only a few minutes' walk from the town centre.

No air-conditioning in the gym

Great breakfast; location is good, with a comfortable 10 minute walk into the main square and quay just beyond. The decor is a little dated but this adds a little to its charm. Comfortable room, well stocked with water and tea, coffee etc although I couldn’t find a safe. Staff were very helpful and pleasant; when I said I would be leaving before I could have breakfast they readily offered dinner the evening before at an equivalent reduced rate.

The door into my room didn’t fit properly.

We spent three nights in the hotel. The staff was polite and helpful. The room we received was located on the ground floor, everything in it corresponded to the description specified. Spacious, with a large comfortable bed, comfortable mattresses and pillows. The furniture in the hotel is ancient, but this gives it a special charm, since the building itself belongs to the last century. In the bath, everything also corresponds to good conditions. The entire hotel is very clean, the rooms, according to your desire, were cleaned every day, they also changed linen and towels every day. The hotel has many cozy rooms with comfortable rest furniture. Breakfasts were diverse, the food was always warm and tasty. The hotel is located in a convenient place and close to the city center.

The hotel is called the "Park Hotel", but our window went to some kind of hangars, we did not find any garden near the hotel. During our visit to the pool, three groups of young children with a Instructor were trained there, it was noisy, a training of very young children was also carried out in the jacuzzi. The quality of coffee in breakfast was very bad.
