We arrived at Ruby Molly around 8am and they allowed us an early check-in, which was wonderful considering we had been traveling well over 13 hours at that point. Staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay and the location was central to everything we wanted to see! I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone :)

Good location, quiet but close - within a short walking distance - to the main tourist areas. Staff were friendly and helpful. Bar and eating area theme was lovely, quirky and peaceful. Room was modern and very clean.
The room had a Marshall amp and guitars were available to borrow from the bar area. Amazing, I was pretty excited about it, but 3 of 3 available guitars had strings missing. I asked if they had spares and I'd re-string them for them but no. So that gimmick / USP was unfortunately a no-go. Another gimmick / USP that didn't work for us: despite reading the instructions several times and being generally handy with new things, neither of us could work out how to use the instant boiling water tap in the shared kitchen area so didn't get a tea or coffee at any point. Maybe we're daft, maybe the instructions don't make sense or aren't clear enough or maybe it was broken - can't say 🤷♀️

The hotel could be suitable for guests from all walks of life. It's a modern twist on a boutique hotel. There aren't extras like a Holiday Inn type hotel that has a gym, etc., but it's very clean and comfortable. Although it's still a relatively new concept to seasoned travelers, the new generation seems to like this style of accommodations. It's easy to think one has stepped into a fancy pub, but at the bar is where you do self check-in and check-out (the staff will gladly help with the process). Currently they accept a major credit card for payment. The bar is a nice area to sit with a group of friends to have a Guinness or dinning at the restaurant for an intimate meal on a special occasion. They have a social room where you can sit in a comfy chair and strike up a conversation or simply relax with a good book. Also, they have a nice breakfast at the hotel for purchase if so desired. The location is near the Four Courts Luas stop; A stop after that is Smithfield where it's more of a young professional work neighborhood with lots of cafés and restaurants. The light rail stop I mentioned is past the street of the hotel, but much easier to walk back and navigate. Rather than fighting the crowded Henry Street shopping district with luggage. Keep in mind the light rail trains can be crowded and sidewalks are narrow and uneven. This might not be ideal for some guests, but in Dublin it's easy to hop a cab or get a Free Now cab (a popular APP in many European countries).
The one thing that was frustrating for me is the hotel entrance. There is one sign over the entrance that says Ruby's. Nowhere was a sign that said Ruby's Molly Molone Hotel. Putting that aside, overall it's a nice place to stay.

The vibe, very hipster. Super clean. Alternative. Very sustainable conscious. Great friendly and helpful staff. Flexibility with leaving your bags which is SO helpful. Great shower. Too. Sizes good. I think the location is okayish. Only 10-15 minutes walk to a lot of restaurants and probably 25-30 mins to the epic museum. You could be more central, but depends on your vibe
I wasn't keen on the bedding, instead of one big sized duvet we got two smaller duvets which has to be used in combination in order to to cover us properly. Also the light switches were a bit confusing. Breakfast would be the most disappointing. 20 euro pp EXTRA for a continental breakfast which doesn't even contain hot cooked Irish breakfast is not competitive. Pushes this into the pricey side

Very spacious room, very cool shower and love the dimmable lights that allow you to make the vibe less cold than many other hotels. Breakfast buffet was quite good, loved having warm bread in the morning. Located close to some good shopping malls, the quays, etc. - just a cool vibe overall and I was relieved they had a converter for continental plugs on hand as I had forgotten mine.
I mentioned to the front desk (twice, on two separate days) that I did not have a functioning TV - and I never received any updates as to whether this could be repaired or not. It made using the TV rather uncomfortable as it would only allow streaming through an app that only worked with mobile phones.

The location was ok, not too far from Dublin attractions, but if you are walking, plan on a good 15 minute walk. It was a very comfortable stay with all of the amenities we could ask for, and the staff was very friendly and efficient. The breakfast was a little pricey so we opted to eat off property. They did offer a free drink in their lovely and comfortable bar if you didn't want room cleaning service. Some reviewers stated they were unhappy with the shower being IN the room, but there was a curtain to put across the entire shower so it didn't bother us at all; actually a very efficient use of space. Overall a very nice stay.

Ruby Molly was in the perfect location for exploring the city. We were close enough to the tourist hotspots (walking distance) without being too close that you hear it (Temple bar). We loved how Ruby Molly was decorated with rustic charm. It was clean and had everything we needed:hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner etc The only part that we felt could be improved was the duvet and kettle situation. There was one duvet at the bottom of the bed going width ways and one at the top. We had to rearrange so we had a single duvet each rather than one for the top half of us and one for the bottom. There was no kettle in the room but there is a shared station on each floor with plenty of tea/coffee. The only problem we had with this was getting the boiling water tap to work properly so every morning we had a Luke warm coffee. My husband finally got it working on the last morning 😆 The instructions need to be clearer. Also, it was not eco friendly as the cups were disposable ones. I would have rather taken a cup from the room and washed it up everyday. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel as we thought it was expensive for what it was (£22 pp for a continental breakfast). Instead, we discovered Brother Hubbard (turn left and then take the first left. It is opposite The Leprechaun Museum) and the breakfasts there were amazing! We would definitely recommend Ruby Molly and wouldn’t hesitate in booking again.

I loved the location. Close to everything but away from all the noise. The hotel is nice and clean with great sitting areas downstairs at the bar.
When we arrived we were greeted by a front desk girl who acted like she was herding cattle. She explained the check in process to 5 different people not all together. So you got the info rushed and half way through something she may have been explaining to someone else. They didn’t look that busy, so I’m not sure why she needed to be so rushed. Thank goodness there were kiosk to actually check yourself in. FYI - She was the only staff member who acted this way. All of the other staff we encountered were courteous and pleasant, eager to answer questions and help in any way.

Location was convenient and very walkable. Lobby and bar/restaurant areas had a great vibe. Food offering also good. Only stayed 2 nights, but definitely comfortable enough for a longer stay.
Would have preferred a kettle in the room rather than using the hot water tap at the end of the hall (even if that meant having to get the tea/coffee from a central area, as if often the system in Japanese hotels). There was no green tea, so had to supply our own.

The staff were very helpful on check in. Very courteous and polite. The room was very clean and fresh. The corridors and area leading to room were tidy and showed clear directions to rooms and service areas.
The shower in the bedroom with glass I found a bit off putting. Personally this isn't for me. The shower curtain around it did help but I am old fashioned and like the shower and wash hand basin in the bathroom not the bedroom. Complimentary tea and coffee were downstairs and not in the room either which is only a small thing but I love coffee first thing in the morning while getting up and tidying up room.
