I liked the ensuite hostel rooms. The location was good as it was walkable to the city and also really close to the tram line and bus stops.
The location was close to Dublin City but the area in general where the hostel is (I found) scary. Lots of homeless people sleep around the police station at night and a lot of drunks hang in the area as well. The train station close by felt unsafe at night. Essentially the area north of the hostel I wouldn't recommend to venture into at night.

Very close to the city center and just off the bus stop coming from the airport. The pods were comfortable, very nice sheets. I stayed in an all female dorm, it was pretty quiet and clean. The pod is not very long but was comfortable, at least in my case but I am only 1.63, there is also an advisory on the wall that the pods can get a bit hot but again not a problem. For people traveling with no set plans the hostel has activities which they post up like walk tours and pub crawls. Reception is open 24h and access to the room is by using a code. There is a bathroom with a shower in the room for 9 beds but at least during my stay this was enough, I was also told there were some more showers if needed on the first floor.
Nothing to complain about honestly I did not try the breakfast or the bar so no comment.

As someone who hasn't stayed in a hostel before I was pleastly surprised. The beds/pods were quite comfortable and equipped with USB ports and a shelf. There's lockers in the room which you do not need a lock for - you create your own code. I stayed in a 10 pod female only room with one bathroom. I never had an issue waiting for the bathroom. However, there is another larger bathroom provided on the floor with multiple showers and stalls. The breakfast was surprisingly good as well and a good value.
The showers time out at 15 seconds... yes 15 seconds (per the sign on the wall stating so). It's to conserve water but it is a bit over the top. 30 seconds would be much more enjoyable than the 15 seconds assault of water then standing in the cold. I would probably not return here for that reason alone.

Love the common areas! The staff are super helpful and friendly. The common areas are super cozy and well decorated, really good vibe. Really lively lounge area and the bar area is also a great spot to mingle and meet other travelers.
I stayed in a 4-bed shared room but the bedding made me itch like crazy. I used the comforter blanket on top of the bed sheets and slept on that then the itching went away, but sleeping on the bed sheets themselves made me itch. No idea why — maybe synthetic linens? Nothing serious like bed bugs or anything but it was just that single bed sheet. The 15-sec timer in the shower is super inconvenient. 30 seconds would at least be a better compromise. Besides that, no other major complaints.

It was not at all what I expected; there were many people who were solo travelers and older. I was in a 6 bed mixed dorm and I was not comfortable. But, it was really nice. Everyone was super quiet and mindful of others privacy. I loved the karaoke night, and the bar in general.
On Saturday night, there was a rave . It went on beyond d midnight . It was loud, obnoxious and we could not sleep - the sound was loud and pounding. That was the nightmare I was envisioning. I wish there was a kitchen. But, the hill out room was really nice. It had a microwave so I could have my dinner peacefully.

I really enjoyed the breakfast — it was delicious with a wide variety of options. The bed was comfortable, and overall, the hostel had a modern feel. Everything needed for the stay worked well. The location is very convenient.
The hostel has the potential to be even better. Dear owner, please consider fixing some small issues in the rooms — for example, the shower button only runs for 5 seconds instead of 15. The water pressure in all the sinks is too strong, causing water to splash out. The locks on the toilet doors also need repair. The beds are equipped only with USB-A ports and have no power sockets. It would be helpful to provide USB-C adapters as well.

This is a hotel like hostel. Large, with a bar and food service. The dorm bed is comfortable, though a bit tight. 8 dorms in the room, with decent space so it doesn't feel cramped. If the room doesn't have ac, the capsule could be hot in the summer. Bathroom is large with shampoo provided. My floor has a large men bathroom in the hallway, which is helpful given 8 people were in my room. Bus station is a block away and there are a few supermarkets nearby.
No kitchen (Ashfield Hostel--centrally located-- worths considering if this is important to you). Location looks and feels a bit iffy, but more importantly, not near tourist sites. North side of the city is considered as less safe than the south side of the river.

Welcoming, great facilities and an amazingly friendly atmosphere The location has great location near to Dublin City Center Actually it's nice accommodation at reasonable discounted prices I really liked that the bathrooms were cleaned regularly throughout the day versus just at night or the morning I had the twin bunk bed dorm and loved that I didn't have to pay for linens . Greates facilities and good quality mattress and duvet. Decor is funky and welcoming. Storage lockers and door entry by key code were a nice touch. Everything is tidy and well kept. ! Thanks you for a great staff! ! ! Vă mulțumes pentru un personal grozav! Obrigado por uma excelente equipal ! Gracias por un gran personals
In other words, I have nothing to say that I didn't like!

The dormitory rooms are super nice! I slept very well in the pods, they are well designed. Storage space is abundant and i loved that the room had it's own shower with an indicator light to tell me if someone else was already using it. Really added an element of comfort to my stay. Rooms were a bit warm but for me it was a plus when you take the Irish weather into account.
It's a bit expensive considering what you're actually getting. I guess that's just European hostel travelling in year 2025. Also the luggage storage should be free. Never seen a place where they didn't offer to hold bags. Lastly, there weren't a lot of communal areas - the lobby area is quite small (and seemed to often be home to neighborhood drunks) and the hangout room has a bit of a juvenile detention facility vibe.
