Where do I begin? From the minute we arrived until our departure the staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful with any request or enquiry. Joanne and Deborah downloaded a bus timetable for us. We had beautiful cooked meals both nights. Christine went out of her way to come back in the evening to gift us a beautiful book of photographs of her home town, Derry. We met Karen, the proprietor, at breakfast the next morning and Sarah, the evening waitress, was also very pleasant. The bed was extremely comfortable, Lovely rain shower in the clean and elegant bathroom. We thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting the area.

The fact that we couldn't stay longer!

Nice simple hotel greeted by a lovely lady when we arrived great chat complimented my outfit as we were heading to wedding in another local hotel advised on services and taxis Breakfast was lovely in the morning we had pancakes strawberries and syrup yummy and my partner had the omelette tea was brewed to perfection nice and strong pot as requested first time I hadn’t to ask for more teabags so this was defo good customer service staff excellent and attention to the customer not many places that do this anymore well done all 👏

Plenty of parking out front. Easy to find. Hotel reception team helpful, including organising a cot. Rooms were clean, and had a velux that opened for airflow. The family room setup having 2 rooms adjoining was great, with a bathroom in each room helpful. The showers had great water pressure, and good range of temps. Breakfast was included, and was a basic buffet for continental, but a really great range of cooked breakfast options to order. Very tasty and lovely staff. Having a bar downstairs was great, and my hubby was able to take his pint upstairs to our room. Tasty meal options. It was quiet being mid week, so that suited us with a young family. We added an extra night, as it was very convenient for exploring the north.

The showers were small.

The staff very friendly. Great breakfast, Food was very good we had dinner there the 2 nights we stayed. The black out blind really did black out the room. Would I go back. Yes if in that part of the country yes I would use it.

Shower was very poor. Took for ever for hot water to come through. The thermostat was on shower was broken. I would say this was because people were trying to turn it thinking the hot water was not coming through. This was room 10. The room was great but to much furniture in it.

Nice big room, comfy bed, good clean bathroom, shower with lots of hot water. Kettle, tea/coffee and hairdryer all in room. Excellent breakfast with very friendly staff. Food in bar in the evening was very good. Good location for Wild Atlantic Way - doing Inishowen loop from south or north, or to visit Derry or Donegal.

Wash basin in bathroom is tiny. Nobody in reception on arrival or when leaving - I rapped the hatch and somone arrived. Live music at weekend (I should have checked before booking) although noisy, it didn't go on too late, after that it was quite. For info. No lifts, rooms in first floor, easy stairs but don't bring big suitcases.

First and foremost the staff were amazing. Helpful, friendly and very well mannered. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The location was also excellent. 10 mins from the centre of L/Derry and just a few miles from Letterkenny.

A couple of very minor things but not enough to put us off returning. 1…We missed dinner because it said it was served from 2pm-9pm in the information folder in the room but when we went down to the bar/restaurant the lady told us they stopped serving at 8. 2..The bed was 2 single beds pushed together and the dip in the middle made it a bit uncomfortable.

Great location for exploring both Donegal and Northern Ireland. A small hotel, the staff were so helpful and friendly, the room was comfortable and the food was very good. Plenty of parking as well!

The hotel is on the main Derry to Donegal road just inside the border so there is a lot of traffic which can be noisy. However the hotel very thoughtfully provided ear plugs. We didn't use them though and, despite the busy road, slept very well!

From booking in to leaving we were looked after well. Nothing was to much. A great room with all you needed. Food was great plenty of choice and well presented. Great bar and music on 2 out of 4 nights we were there. Its a well placed hotel. We travelled the wild Atlantic way taking in malin and fanad head lighthouses to name a few stops. The loca bus runs regularly to Londonderry to take in the walled city. Local garages to tank up. All in all a good place to stay.

Very friendly & helpful staff. Room clean. Dinner really good and generous. Pints cheap and good atmosphere. Stayed here over St Patrick's weekend and great entertainment every night.

Breakfast is basic, but staff were very lovely and accommodated my requirements. Room lighting too bright and wall lamp not working, but staff brought us up another lamp.

Lovely hotel. Very friendly from the minute of arrival. Rooms very clean and decent size. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast had a nice selection from cereals to fried items. Bar food menu great selection at good prices and very filling. Short driving distance to the city of Derry and plenty of places to visit within a reasonable distance of the hotel.

Nothing to dislike. Staff very friendly and chatty.
