Absolutely fabulous stay. We were in the 3 bedroom villa for Xmas. The pool was right outside our door with the beach directly in front of the hotel where we had a free breakfast every day. Although the pool is for all guests not many people used it so it felt like it was ours. The villa was really clean. Location was fabulous, just far enough away from the noisy part so nice and quiet. What made it even better was the staff who could not do enough for you. Nothing was too much trouble. Special shout out to Robi who gave fabulous customer service.

We had such a wonderful stay at Samba we decided to stay another week. The hotel is situated in the middle of Gili T. To the right you have all the beautiful places to eat, and on the left all the cool beach bars and turtle points. All the staff are amazing, they can’t do enough for you. They decorated our room for my husband’s birthday on arrival. So special. The food here is great too. So many options for breakfast even just a quick snack here is so tasty. The rooms are spacious, very clean and comfy beds. If you need somewhere that has everything at your feet on Gili T here is the place to stay. Thank you for having us.

Lovely spacious room in a convenient location. Great vibes and lovely pool area. Breakfast was great, they have fruit and cereal as well as being able to order a meal off the menu. Staff were all very friendly and attentive. There is a spa directly in front of the property that seems reasonably priced.

Loved everything with the hotel and this isn’t directly related to the property, but I would bring your own earplugs. The hotel does provide them as call to prayer was at 5am (there are 3 mosques on the small island so I imagine you’d hear this at most accommodation) but it is quite loud, so I used my own that were more effective.

This hotel is in a great location on Gili T - it is a 10 minute walk from the harbour where the boat to Gili T arrives, and it is a 5 minute walk from turtle beach where we saw lots of turtles! The main street with all the shops and restaurants/bars etc is also nearby (5-10 mins away), but far enough that you don't hear noise from these bars/clubs at night. The room was very big and spacious with a lot of room to put luggage etc, and a large bathroom. The double bed was huge! The staff was very friendly. Beach towels are provided - you can take new ones from reception every day if you don't want to reuse them. There are drying racks to dry laundry outside (although it is so humid that nothing really dries - I recommend using their laundry service instead).

The pool is at the front of the hotel so you can see the main street etc - not very secluded/private. The free breakfast is very basic (only cereals/fruit) - if you want a better breakfast you have to pay for it.

The location was amazing, the hotel is directly at the beach. Low-tide was an issue on the othert parts of the island but here we were able to swim all day. We got a bigger room for the same price. The staff is really nice.

We had such a fantastic time here that we ended up extending our stay. The location is excellent. Very short walk/cycle to the main area for restaurants and bars but far enough away that it's peaceful and not too busy. You can rent a bike through the reception area for a very good price. We also booked an excellent and well priced snorkeling tour through reception. The spa connected to the villas is very well priced. You can rent a snorkel for about €3/day and if you walk a few minutes up the beach, there are a ridiculous amount of turtles. Magical! Samba villas supplies bean bags and loungers on the beach front which we loved. The breakfast was pretty good. Not the best we had while in Indonesia but excellent for the price. We have to give a special shout-out to Roby and all the staff for making our stay so special. Roby always had the biggest smile for us and was more than happy to help me organise a birthday surprise for my boyfriend. I had messaged before arriving to ask if they could help me to organise a cake and a balloon and they went absolutely above and beyond. Roby organised 2 massive pieces of cake with a birthday message written on the plate, our room was decorated while we were at breakfast with birthday banners, flowers and balloons, and all the staff came to the room with a guitar to sing happy birthday!! It was so special (and my boyfriend was very surprised!) and so fun so thank you to Roby and the team! They did all of this free of charge. Just amazing. The staff also organised a horse to carry our bags to the dock when we were leaving. The staff made us feel so at home and welcomed. Everyone was so friendly and smiley. Thank you for such a special stay!

The pool was closed for maintenance and this wasn't advertised on booking.com but considering you're a 30 second walk from the beach, this really didn't impact our stay.

Great location and Staff. We felt very comfortable and would go back again. The room was very clean, the air conditioner worked well, and ther beach was just across the road. Very convenient location to bars and restaurants.

The welcome drink was too sugary. I suggested a simple ice tea to welcome guests to the property. Easy fix The tables, chairs and umbrellas on the beach should be updated. A bit weathered and in need off some upkeep. The massage offering in front of Samba Villas was mediocre. I would recommend trying other spas.

Edo and all staff were very accommodating. The room was clean and the aircon was cold. The fan above the bed was an added bonus. Beach towels were provided. Jug of water in room. Loved the onsite massage. Breakfast good, you pick from a set menu. Was worried about the nearby mosque noise, and being too close to the party zone. Ear plugs were provided, but didn't need them. The rooms are set back from the street. This was an easy walk from the harbour and nice to receive a welcome drink. We were especially grateful that it was no trouble for them to store our luggage before our room was ready for check in. Great value for money. Shampoo and body wash were provided. King bed was very comfortable. Daily housekeeping.

The pool is available for all guests, but it's sort of connected to the villa at the front of the building.

Wifi was slow and didn't reach the room well. We stayed in the room closest to reception and still we had limitations. Breakfast was scarce, if you wanted a real breakfast, like eggs, granola, smoothies... They were extra. You had basic fruit, cereal, coffee, tea, juice and a vegetable stock soup all for free. Anything else was extra. It seemed like they were overstaffed, so many were just sitting around without much to do... Perhaps due to it being low season.

Staff was amazing! Special thanks to Roby and Ibo who were the primary staff taking care of us. However, the entire staff was attentive, polite, and friendly. you can tell they care and go above and beyond. we stayed in the 3 bedroom family suite overlooking the pool and beach. The location was perfect! close to everything and the best beach in my opinion- we saw turtles just off this beach. the spa was great and had the most reasonable prices in the island (from what I could tell). the food was very reasonably priced and tasted really good! Roby organized our bike rentals and made sure our laundry was washed (obviously extra cost and not onsite but he picked it up for us). you had the option of eating on the beach or in your room and also the food came out rather quick. i would come back and stay in Samba Villas in a heart beat if only it was closer! Best experience so far in Indonesia. thanks again Roby and good luck with everything! you made our last few days in Indonesia memorable!!

No issues at all. cats roam around outside the premise (around the island and not unique to this location) but they don’t bother anyone so unless you are super allergic or hate cats, then this might be a turn off for you. but if you just hate cats, there may be something wrong with you anyway.
