Marari is by itself a special place. A place to calm down and be present. Amritara Beach Symphony is right in front of the beach and offers a pretty integrated experience with the local community. For example hiring people and buying every grocery from the same village. The food was really delicious and the chef came everyday to ask what we wanted and then bought the food for every occasion. When we arrived there was an Easter celebration at the beach and it was fully packed with families flying kites on the sky! It was a very great experience to see it. Even though the trash was everywhere during that day and also the days after. We also went with a bike to get an Ayurveda massage next to it, we really loved visiting the Shiva Temple close by and be part of the ritual celebration and also to spend time at the beautiful pool just for us! Thank you for the amazing food, conversations and the awesome lime lemonades!

We would have loved to have a direct access to the beach as in front of the hotel there was a pretty big group of dogs and we were a little bit afraid to walk in front of them to get to the beach.

4 beautiful Villas in a wonderful setting, very private from each other. Spacious and very clean. Our 2 bedroom villa was perfect for our family of 4 and we loved the big communal pool. Meals can be enjoyed on your patio and the chef is happy to discuss any dietary requirement, food was excellent. Dominique looked after us so well, very discreet yet always available when we needed something. Walking distance to the beach. We had such an amazing time and it was just what we needed after travelling for a couple of weeks. We cannot thank everyone who looked after us enough for such a wonderful stay. Can highly recommend

That we could not stay longer!

The Pool Villa was awesome, property was very beautiful and well maintained. Our 3 year old had a lot of fun. Food was excellent with the chef Shailan suggesting some local delicacies that we could try. Arun and the entire staff made the stay very comfortable and memorable. Mararikulam beach is just a 2 min walk from the resort. Mr Deepu, the manager , arranged for a cab for us, on short notice, when our Uber cancelled on us. An all round lovely experience!

No complaints!

The room was lovely as was the pool. It is very secluded and private and the service was attentive and helpful. They helped us visit the backwaters which was a great experience.

The property is close to the beach at Marari but not facing it so its only 3 minutes walk. Unfortunately the beach at that point is quite dirty (not the fault of the property) but it just is so you need to walk along where it is quieter and cleaner. Also the metal fencing enclosing the property is a bit bare and could be improved with some bamboo or more greeenery growing up it.

Food excellent with individual menu choices discussed with the chef who cooked everything fresh to order. No fridge in the room initially, but upon request, a fridge was immediately provided. Nothing was too much trouble for Deepu's excellent, hardworking team. Pool was clean and an excellent facility as was the close location of the Amritara A Beach Symphony to the ocean.

Shower functioned OK with plenty of hot water, but is probably in need of replacement very soon.

Great spacious rooms, very we maintained pool, shower facilities, and was very well maintained as well. The staff were quite polite, and always available too. The location is less than 1 min from the beach, though you dont get a beach view from the room. Its a bit of a botique property, with limited rooms - so gives that exclusivity feel as well.

Pool villa was perfect. Privacy and plenty of room to relax. Having our own pool was perfect. We ate all meals at villa, all were perfect. Staff were extremely accommodating and helpful to us with our 9 month old baby. Huge thanks to everyone at Beach Symphony for a perfect stay

Everything perfect

We had a villa with a private pool which was quite perfect! Large, spacious, airy and the outdoor shower was all really up to speed. The staff was very kind and pleasant and we had a fairly comfortable stay.

At more than €300/night, I'd expect that the property would at least have a private access to the beach (particularly as they also advertise 'beachfront' villas), but this is not the case. The property is located just behind some beach shacks and you have to walk through these to get to the public beach, which can be quite busy depending on time of year. The food was also pretty basic, and the lack of an on-site restaurant meant you have to decide what you want to eat in advance, which is pressure I don't really enjoy on holiday!

We had a brilliant stay here - and we loved it so much that we changed our plans and extended for an extra night! The property is located minutes from the beach, the room was huge and immaculate, the staff were wonderful, and the food was amazing! The chef came to ask us what we wanted to eat each meal and then he would produce the most fabulous spreads of delicious Keralan food - there is a menu but I'm pretty sure he went off-piste for us every time and we absolutely loved it. There is also a beautiful pool at the property which was perfect to retreat to when it got too hot and windy at the beach.

The towels provided were not very absorbent - we resorted to using our travel towels in addition. Also the charge points by the bed didn't work.

Ideal for a romantic getaway but also if travelling solo and need a bolt hole from the hubbub. Only four very individual cottages and each with a special charm but all staff make you feel at home

Can’t fault it. Not five star chain luxury but the food was great, hospitality warm and accommodation modestly stylish and comfortable
