The usual usual high quality one has come to love about Bagatelle Gardenhouse

Nothing really to not like (The blue LED of the Wifi would be nice to be turned off to improve sleep quality)

I barely ever write reviews but this one needs an exception. I have travelled extensively and stayed in all kinds of accommodations but this has to be easily among the top 3 so far. From the attention to detail, the atmosphere, the stylish and tasteful interior design, the room size and lighting, the wonderful garden, the friendliness of the staff, the breakfast – everything was near perfect. I also really liked the fact, that it felt like a soothing retreat that I would look forward to return to after a busy and exhausting day of sightseeing in the much more crowded and noisy Pest (take the Bus 105 it will bring you downtown and get you back within 15 minutes). The place felt like a second home and I can't wait to get back.

Tiny thing that in the end didn't matter so much to me, but if you are in one of the ground floor rooms (I was in "Paletta") you might hear foot steps from people walking around above you when someone is in the studio apartment on the 1st floor. Other than that it is a very, very quiet place.

The place is fantastic, next to their restaurant with the wonderful garden. If felt like as we are at home. The cosy kitchen with the dining space was perfect spot for the breakfast that we could choose a-la-carte to be brought from the restaurant. Free private parking space was another benefit The location was also perfect for exploring the city center or the nearby Castle either by walk or bus that was in front of the venue. The staff was very pleasant and helpful in every way. Definitely a place to come back

Even when thinking of what we didn't like I couldn't have think of anything. Even on purpose lack of TV in the room and the venue is afterwards considered as an advantage to rest the mind at least during the stay

The place is excellent and has a great serene atmosphere, though top notch. The staff is super friendly and goes extra mile to help. The quality of materials and equipment is top notch, all new and easy to use, room and common area is super clean and tidy. The breakfast is excellent, nutritious and has many options. Moreover, there is also fruits and coffee available throughout the stay, 24/7. The location is great, calm and worth exploring around by foot. There are many nice places around, friendly to kids. Wile not in the city centre, it is just 20 minutes walk to the Buda castle, and transport network is good developed and can bring you anywhere. Definitely would love to stay again and it is a great value for money

The staff is amazing, I haven't met such nice and hospitable ladies in such a long time. The room is beautiful, the whole place is so beautiful and cozy and welcoming. The breakfast was out of this world, incredible! The garden is nice and peaceful. We had a very nice short stay.

It was a little too cold in the room and we didn't manage to make it warm (21 degrees Celsius might though be ok for the most 😀). There is no door to the bathroom...which we took for a chic cultural thing, but in some cultures it may be awkward...

Flawless stay at Budapest. The room is extremely beautiful and stylish. The room is well decorated and well equipped with everything you need. Welcome drinks and snacks are also prepared in the room. In the kitchen area, more complimentary snacks and non-alcoholic drinks are provided, rationally priced alcoholic drinks are also available. The reception is extremely friendly and helpful for the check in and breakfast ordering. The breakfast is lovely and the surroundings and backyard should be nice if the temp is nice to stay outdoor. Even the reception is not available 24hr, but the team considered everything ahead to make everything going well.

Nothing at all

I only spent one night here. For me it was important that the hotel is quite centrally located and has a free and secure parking area in the courtyard. The breakfast room is very nice, but there is only a small buffet available. Everything has to be ordered from a menu. The staff is very friendly. My room partly went to the street, but even so it was peaceful and quiet.

There was an annoying noise from the ventillation all night through. And it was pretty cold in my room. It was in November. It was my decesion to spend a night here for personal reasons. But the price-performance ratio is not right here in my opinion.

The establishment had a certain sense of serenity brought about by the calmness & candour of the friendly & so helpful staff, architecture and interior design, mixed with the oases of both garden and room(s).

Nothing that detracted from our enjoyment of the hotel☺️.

The strength of Bagatelle Garden House relies on its kind and attentive staff who are there for any need, even if that be a chat. This smartly designed hotel offers a beautiful breakfast in a lovely setting. Just far enough removed from the center to offer peace and quiet just a short walk to the castle district, or taxi to Pest.

Bathroom amenities provided include a body soap bar, and a shampoo bar. I would have loved a conditioner as well.

The design of the room and of the other facilities. An interesting esthetic experience. Combined with utility. I very much liked the secraitaire. The garden, even if it was a bad weather. Full time access to coffee, tea and other beverages. Very good cookies. Obvious care for the well being of the guest. Very nice personnel.
