Definite pluses of the Hotel are: 1. Its peculiar industrial design with the additional bed on upper floor 2. Swimming pool 3. Parking is almost free of charge 4. Very calm and restful location (at least during weekend) 5. Well equipped kitchen 6. Friendly staff (if you meet any problem, they will drown you in pardons and apologizes, but the problem will remain unsolved)

1. Very dirty windows. 2. Main lamp does not work (no light bulb, or short circuit). In evenings and cloudy days the room is really dark, so we had to use the TV as a light source to see the dinner on the table 3. Microwave looks clean, but smells very bad when you turn it on. Literally there is a smoke in the room. We turned it on for 3 minutes only once and didn't touch anymore.

The room was amazing, facilities were very useful. Our room had a dishwasher, and a washing machine/drier, which was very convenient as this was our last accommodation before heading back home. Location was very good, close to public transport and shops. Free gym access as well as sauna and swimming pool ( we didn't get to use this as we went in February and it is outdoors). The studio room was the perfect size for a couple to stay for a few days, having a kitchen was a big bonus as we could cook our own meals before heading out.

Nothing, everything was perfect

Room was exactly as is on photos. The city studio is such a perfect room for solo travellers and couples. The shower and water pressure was also amazing. The staff was all so amazing and helpful. It was my first time in Germany and on a solo trip, Lily at the desk was incredible. She was so friendly and gave me amazing recommendations. She even answered all of my silly questions as it was my first time staying in Germany and on my own. After check in I never went back to the reception as my room was perfect, I didn’t need anything extra and she had answered all my questions perfectly and made my stay so easy. The room and the whole building was also super clean. Recommending here to all my friends and I Will definitely be back.

The room, kitchen and dishwasher was a big plus for me.

The AC starts working unexpectedly and it's very loud trying to ventilate the room when heating is on. Personal was not able to solve this problem and suggested me another room. However, I didn't want to spend two more hours moving my things. Fortunately I saw the thermostat near the door and just set ventilation to the lowest level.

Staff was very friendly, hotel was in perfect proximity to public transportation literally a block away.We had the Elevated Family Loft-- from the pics one of the beds looks smaller but it's not both beds are queen sized. The bed will accommodate 2 people perfectly one on each side, didn't have time to enjoy the amenities at the facility, the unit comes with a washer/dryer, small kitchen with cooking supplies, dishwasher, and a refrigerator. I will admit if you have 4 people it will be tight as the unit is like a studio apartment. There's not enough space for hanging out and relaxing all in one section. However, if you're on a budget, and your plan is to use the room for sleeping and venture off during the daytime, then it's a perfect remedy. There's a grocery store, 2 bakeries, and restaurants all within a short walking distance to the hotel.

I have stayed here for 53 nights, and everything was great! My room was always very clean, and the facilities were excellent. I had everything I needed for cooking, washing dishes, and doing laundry. They regularly left small gifts for me, such as coffee and tea, which all tasted really good. I highly recommend this place for long stays. It is very close to the metro, and you can reach the city center in just 15 minutes. Big thanks to the super kind staff as well! Really appreciate it.

The air conditioner was quite loud and always turned on automatically, so I had to switch it off every time I came back to my room. Adjusting the room temperature was sometimes a bit tricky.

We chose Wunderlocke because we liked the fact it was a studio that seemed to have absolutely everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and convenient and it did not disappoint. The staff are super friendly and helpful and the decor of the lobby and reception area is really stylish. Our studio was compact but never felt too small because of its extremely clever design. It was squeaky clean, had a really comfortable bed, and the bathroom a good size with lots of space to put things. We really appreciated the washing machine in our room and if we wanted to cook there was everything there to do so including a dishwasher. The neighbourhood is really quiet and safe and a breeze to get to the heart of the city by U-bahn with a station just a few minutes walk away. The soundproofing is also very good in the room as we never heard a thing above, below or next to us. We loved coming back to our cosy, quiet place every night and would not hesitate to book this excellent value studio again!

WunderLocke is located about 20 minutes from Munich’s city center, offering a peaceful and quiet atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle. The hotel is nestled in a charming neighborhood with easy access to public transport. Our apartment was spacious, modern, and well-maintained, with a cozy, home-like feel. The kitchen was fully equipped, allowing us to cook simple meals and enjoy breakfasts at our own pace, which was especially nice on colder mornings. The living area was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring, with a comfortable sofa and a TV with plenty of channels. The bedroom was warm and inviting, with a comfortable bed to rest after our busy days. The apartment's modern design, with wooden floors and clean lines, made it a very pleasant space to return to. The apartment had everything we needed for a cozy and independent stay, and the staff were helpful and welcoming. If you’re looking for a more relaxed and affordable option while still being close to Munich’s attractions, this is a fantastic choice.

The room lighting is quite low, and the bathroom shower is positioned too close to the heater rack.

Stunning & very aesthetic hotel! Wow! The room was modern and had all the necessities (including a washer/DRYER). The beds were extremely comfy and they supplied a great amount of pillows. Hotel offered other things we didn't end up using (heated pool, sauna, restaurant), wish we stayed in Munich longer so we could explore it more. Good location to public transport, less than 5min walk to Aidenbachstrabe station to take you into the city centre.

The mezzanine level where my parents slept, well you couldn't stand upright. Luggage had to stay downstairs cause there was no way you could lug them up, there was plenty of floor space but not safe to get the suitcases up there given you couldn't stand upright.

Room is warm which is just what we need since we are visiting during winter season. Kitchen amenities is given. full set, not to mention TV, washing machine, ironing board and dish washer are all available for guests perusal. They do know how to make one feels like home. No complains at all, any additional request could contact them via WhatsApp during the stay, and they would send things to your room in minutes. Our trip was very good mainly because the stay was wonderful, we had an amazing vacation! Oh and their gym and yoga classes are free, room is also equipped with yoga mat!
