I enjoyed the lively location. The usual hostel facilities are functional and clean (kitchen, laundry, hang out area).
Don’t appreciate having to put on the bed sheets and duvet covers myself after a long transit. The metal frame bed is such a pain when you try to be quiet and considerate to your room mates-a) when I switched on the lights by the lower bunk bed, the light leaked to the upper bunk bed. B) any movement makes clanking noises. Bathroom door not water tight. Room 508 bathroom is always wet as a result.

- Location is excellent, right next to Ostbahnhof and is also located inside a lovely restaurant park - Two bathrooms inside room which both have toilets and showers so never had to wait to use them - Beds were incredibly comfortable: huge pillows! Also has reading light, fan, charging ports, safe and small shelf for phone. Privacy curtains were amazing too. - Has lockers underneath bed that don’t need padlocks, just put in a code - Common areas were numerous and comfortable. Large cafe/bar downstairs, seating area next to reception, couches outside of kitchen and even a roof area. - Four washers and dryers. Costs €7 to use both and €1 for detergent. Really easy to use. - Kitchen was large and well equipped. Three hobs, see through fridges and lots of counter space - Staff were very friendly - Vending machine with snacks and drinks - Breakfast was good and not too expensive
- One of our assigned lockers didn’t work due to previous user not leaving it unlocked. Just needed to ask at reception for them to come and unlock it for you though - Toilet paper dispenser in one of the bathrooms in our room kept falling off the wall

I went with four of my friends, and we booked a room for six people. We stayed in a cozy, clean, and modern room with bunk beds, which had everything we needed. I personally loved the modern and stylish touch of the room. The view was amazing, and the facilities were excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was good, with clubs and places to eat just a minute away from the hostel.
It would have been great if it were closer to the Old Town, but it was within walking distance(20-25 minutes), so it wasn’t necessarily a problem.

I really loved it! The beds have curtains, the lockers are present - mind you, the 6-person dorms have lockers big enough to fit two huge suitcases, while the 8-person ones only fit in a small suitcase with a little extra space left over - the showers have good enough pressure and heat up very fast, the kitchen is spacious enough more up to ten people to be doing something there, the leisure area is fantastic, it has many sitting options, is cosy, and is located right next to the eating area (which doesn't have that many chairs, though) and kitchen. The location was my favourite, though. It is close to the Ostbahnhof and has an Edeka that's open 7-23 every day AND 8-23 ON SUNDAY which is a damn miracle in Germany. There's also a bunch of other shops and eateries around, and the Werksviertel itself is very beautiful in a glass-and-neon way, it's all lit up at night and even has a Ferris Wheel 🎡. It does get a bit crowded on weekend nights because of the clubs etc, but it didn't bother me when inside and created a very bright atmosphere when outside.
Frankly, the only thing I can think of is the lack of an oven, which, when compared to other Munich hostels, is hardly a slight worth mentioning. Uh, perhaps the need to put your own sheets on, which is rather loud and frustrating when done late at night? The bed sheet is barely big enough for the mattress, so it may take a while to do it properly.

The location was good. It was near the DB Ostbahnhof station and Ubahn station. There were lots of restaurants and bars around, even late at night when you need to eat after a concert. The room was clean. There was an electric fan. The checkin process was easy. The breakfast was basic but okay for the price.
Our room was on the 3rd floor and it could get noisy when the window is open. Also, when other room doors are slammed shut, you can feel the walls and floors shaking. The breakfast should at least have some hard boiled eggs. The hostel prices were more expensive just because of Adele and Coldplay being in Munich. That part was kind of awful. But I know it happens. The bed was also too soft and you have to pay for late checkout per person.

This is my second time staying here while traveling around Germany! I really like it—it’s very clean, the kitchen is super convenient, and the beds are comfortable with curtains, which is always a big plus. There’s everything you need nearby… some might find it “a bit far,” but I think it’s totally worth it. Unfortunately, this time, someone stole my perfume and my AirPods from my bed, so be careful! I don’t think it’s the hostel’s fault at all, but just a heads-up—don’t be as trusting as I was and make sure to lock up your stuff. Other than that, I’d definitely stay here again if I’m back in Munich!

The common area for all of the guests- felt like at home, with a lot of cozy areas. The breakfast was very good, they are serving good quality bread, cheese and Schinken, fresh veggies, porridge/MĂĽsli, jam, any kind of coffee. For those who didn't book breakfast option in advance, they have a fully equipped kitchen with a nice eating area. The shared room of 6 has two bathrooms, so there is mostly no waiting time. And of course the location is very accessible. Any time you are lost, you would have all of the possible opportunities to reach your destination. It is important to remember, when you enter the Ostbahnhof turn to the left, so you will find the correct path under all of the tors (Gleis), but not only 8 of them, so then you arrive at the other side, behind the tors.
The locker didn't open once, when I closed it in the dark. I didn't look at the numbers, so I lost the previous password and needed to ask the staff to open it for me.

I enjoyed my stay a lot! I stayed for four nights in a 6-person dorm, and my room was quite quiet and relaxed which was exactly what I wanted. I liked the privacy curtain a lot, and staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was pretty good as well.
There was only one bathroom shared between 6 people which got a bit irritating at some points. The location was close to the east train station, but during my stay the S-bahn shut down which made getting to the center or to the main station a bit of a pain. There are hostels in better locations.

I booked a bed in one of the female-only rooms for 4 people and I very much enjoyed my stay. The curtains in front of the beds are a very nice addition for privacy and made the bed feel like a cocoon. There are two lockers per bed: one small one directly on the wall and a bigger one below the bunkbeds (perfect for my backpack and small items). Next to each bed is also a reading lamp and a socket. Everything was clean and well organized. I liked the large common spaces next to the reception and even though I didn't use it, there is a kitchen for guest-use as well as a bar downstairs and two snack machines. There is open WiFi, which had good connection. The location was good and the connection from Munic Ost to the Central Station was pretty quick. The staff was nice and all in all this is an amazing hostel that I will visit again on my next holiday in Munic.
The area is noisy at night, so bring earplugs if you sleep with an open window (nothing the hostel itself can change, just a warning). The breakfast was good but I think there was too little variety. Maybe in the future add some juice, fruit, eggs and expand the amount of veggies you offer - if that's too costly maybe it'd be possible to rotate some of the items, because during my stay everything stayed the same and after 2 days it felt a little bland. The shower in our room was leaking on the floor a little whenever somebody used it. I think the doors should be reinstalled or maybe there could be a sign explaining how to use it in a way that doesn't flood the bathroom. If the two last issues were fixed, it would be a 10/10 for me.

The best thing is that it was close to the münchen east station. Also, the hostel was in a really lively neighbourhood, there were so many great places to eat and drink. Even inside the hostel there was a bar! Lastly everyone had a large locker with a key so you don’t have to pay for it.
The room was too small. I wouldn’t care about it normally since I was backpacking but it was too tiny and the beds were very laud. What I mean is that because they’re made of some kind of iron they were making that weird sound when someone was moved. Also the pillows were REALLY bad that you couldn’t even count them as pillows. I had to use my clothes for sleeping.
