the host is very positive and helpful man. home is close to Rhein river and garden is very nice. it is in a silent neighborhood. breakfast is very good. it is like staying in a relative‘a house, there are paintings of the owner’s sons. very sweet. 😁

the house has a shared toilet and bathroom, it was written in the facilities but we missed it. since we stayed for one night and there were no others guests. it was not a problem, but for a longer stay it must be considered.

Comfortable beds. Full kitchen with bakery close by. Host was friendly and very easy to communicate with (English or German) and responded quickly to any concerns or questions both before our stay and during.

No AC made the upstairs bedrooms quite hot in July. Photos in the post are confusing since the rental house and the B&B pictures are all grouped together. This property should list the house separately from the B&B.

The host is very kind, always helpful and available to share tips about public transportation, places to visit in the city and around in the neighborhood, place to eat and what to do. The garden view from the living room where we had breakfast is beautiful and the dogs and cats are very nice too. Breakfast was very rich (salty and sweet options). We are really satisfied. We went for a short get-away with the kids and I choose this place because of the location not far from Phantasialand, but also because of the pets. The kids loved it. The host is an adventurous gentleman with whom I shared quite a few interests, so a good chat was easy. The location close to the river made that you could have a nice walk and enjoy the sunset.

An excellent property managed by a very welcoming host , you will be made to feel at home as soon as you’re through the front gate! ( the beautiful Landcruiser did it for me even more 😊). We’ve travelled with a young baby, elderly parents and our cocker spaniel, everybody felt comfortable and had a restful and enjoyable time. An evening walk along the river Rhein, allowed our dog to relax for the night. Got to know the host and partner a bit more by the fire pit in the garden , an excellent experience and couldn’t recommend enough! Breakfast provided was great, good coffee, fresh bread and a choice of cereals and tea, all you need to kickstart your day. Hoping to stay here again in the future ! Thank you Achim and Ilona !

Maybe some blinds would be a good addition to the rooms as my wife is a difficult sleeper, although I must say there isn’t much light pollution there...

Perfect spot between Cologne and Bonn along the River Rhine. With enough to do for all generations! We had all 3 generations (grandkids, parents & grandparents) on family holidays together and it worked out perfectly! Owner/Manager is also a great guy to have a beer with and a good chat… PROOST 🍻

You need to like pets (cats & dogs) plus what comes with their maintenance 😉

The owner is incredibly friendly! the garden is a little oase which made it perfect for a mini holiday. we had a fantastic time and would definitely stay again!

it’s hard to find things we did not like but we only found two little points of recommendation: - there were no towels so take some with you - there was no juice at breakfast (there was coffee)

Achim was a very nice host and made us feel very comfortable. The house is just as described, 5 mins away from the Rhine River, with a wonderful pathway to walk the dog. Achim recommend us a pub in which everyone was very friendly, kind and the food was great. Definitely a great location and would totally recommend it! Ps. His dogs are so playful and nice. It was great seeing them play with my dog.

This is not a hotel, but a guest house, where you will really feel at home, a very nice host ( Elona and Achim) with two beautiful dogs and an ugly cat, where you can rest, walk, BBQ and having fun, beautiful garden, located outside of the city. quite place

Breakfast could be better if you have a hotel's breakfast experience it's a little disappointing.

It was a lovely short break, comfortable and the owner was so friendly. He also recommended very good restaurants and places to visit. The location was easy to travel to the city centre.
